Black coffee with a splash of oat milk.
    Mikki C.

Summit Coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops in Davidson, with a great location near several stores and Farmers Market. The baristas are kind, and the cafe has a cool decorative vibe! There are small tables lined against the wall so you can sit, drink, eat, and visit. It gives the feeling of community. There are several larger tables outside for working or meeting with a big group. I usually see a lot of families out there as it's a great space for the children to run around. The coffee is great. I like their lattes, but this past visit I enjoyed a black coffee. It was smooth and bold with a splash of oat milk. So good! We drive an hour just to experience this kind of coffee shop vibe, service, and lattes! Can't wait for my next cup of coffee at Summit!

A great place to grab a cup of coffee, get some work done, read, hang out, or listen to their music on the weekends. The service is fast and friendly.

Wonderful coffee shop along Main Street. I arrived around 9am on a Thursday and saw many people walk in and out quickly and then found out why -- mobile ordering! They have a small pastry selection of yummy looking scones and seasonal drink menu along with the usual coffee selection. I opted for a matcha latte with vanilla syrup. There is seating on the first floor and I hear there's a second floor but it doesn't have AC, however the back patio area is wonderful so we sat out there. Friendly staff, yummy matcha and great ambience.

I got a vanilla latte and a croissant. The staff seemed nice. The vanilla latte is your average vanilla latte, the croissant was big and fluffy. I got the croissant warmed, but it was still cold on the inside (still tasted good though). They have a downstairs and upstairs. The downstairs has a good amount of sunlight vs upstairs. I would say the environment is good to study in or work remote from!

Cute cafe with signature coffee and baked goods. Has outdoor seating as well as more seating upstairs. Order your coffee and find a table, they also have an app and rewards program. Love that it's open until 9pm and has special events every evening like live music, trivia etc.

Super cute atmosphere. Has a lot of seating upstairs. Great study spot I got an iced chai latte for $5.50. Oat and almond milk are included with no extra cost. The latte was pretty good. They have some fun flavors like blueberries and strawberries.

Danish-tomato jam w/ feta cheese and a chai latte with oatmilk

This is a cute little coffee shop to come to. I got the tomato jam feta danish warmed up it was so fresh followed with a hot cup of chai. The danish was great must try.

Tea drinkers will love this coffee bar! Great variety of teas offered here and they make delicious tea lattes! Friendly staff and quaint seating areas indoor and outdoor makes this neighborhood gem worth visiting!

Neat coffee shop in downtown Davidson. The downstairs area by the register is a little cramped and if you're thinking that they're too full for you, do not despair. There is a very large upstairs seating area with tables and a sofa with room for at least 40 people. My cortado this morning was excellent. I'm really enjoying these having switched from latte cappuccino. The difference is that the milk is merely steamed to heat it but not foamed. Free wifi, a bunch of power outlets and great coffee. It's great. [Review 12625 overall, 2417 of 2019.]

Super cute shop and great coffee. Scone was great too. Must come if you're in town. Lots of seating inside and out. Walking distance to the college.

Came here on a Sunday morning after church. Easy parking, and plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs. Cute building along the Main Street of Davidson college. Staff was friendly, but not very engaging. If you want you're coffee in a for-here mug, make sure to ask for it, default seems to be to-go mug. They used their Kilimanjaro for espresso, which to me tasted smooth with a nutty fruit, medium body. I bought a bag of Alpine beans, love they have roasted dates on their bags! Overall pricey, and they up charge for every addition/substitution.

    Butter croissant and latte

One of my fav coffee shops! The location in Davidson is extra cute. Love their speciality lattes and the croissants are so yummy.

Let's talk FOOD. That omelet? Fluffy like it trained at egg boot camp. Stuffed with sausage, ham, bacon, cheese basically the Avengers of breakfast. The home fries were crispy golden cubes of perfection. Not soggy. Not greasy. Just straight-up breakfast excellence. The ham slices were thick and flavorful like they meant business. That biscuit sandwich? Soft, buttery, and holding everything together like a breakfast superhero. And those cheesy grits? Creamy enough to make you emotional. Add melted cheddar and it's basically Southern comfort in a bowl. Portions? Generous. Flavor? Elite. Coffee? Flowing like we were at a caffeine convention. Now let's talk about Jonathan Jonathan delivered AMAZING service. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced, and on top of everything like a breakfast conductor running a delicious orchestra. Drinks stayed filled, food came out hot, and he made sure our whole crew felt taken care of. That kind of service turns a good meal into a great experience. The vibe inside? Busy, lively, happy breakfast energy everywhere. You can tell this is a spot people return to again and again. Final verdict: We came hungry. We left full. We left smiling. And yes... we'll be back. Fresh Egg you cracked the code.

This spot delivers exactly what it promises, making it a reliable choice for the area. To start, the coffee was great--hot, fresh, and strong. For my main dish, I opted for a Western omelette. It was perfectly fine, a solid choice, if not spectacular. My husband had the egg, bacon, cheese breakfast sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only reason I'm docking a star is for the side of corn muffins I ordered. They were, unfortunately, a complete letdown. They were hard, dry, and truly tasted like small stones. Even piling on the soft, fresh butter couldn't save them. However, the excellent service and the positive experience with the main dishes and coffee easily outweigh one bad side item. We had a good meal overall, and I would definitely go back again (and just skip the corn muffins next time!).

All of it is super modern, clean, and well designed. Now onto the food specifically - I heard it was really good so I decided to order some lunch. My only complaint is there's no way to order online so I had to call my order in. I got a burger and fries, chicken wings, and guacamole. The burger was great, I have no complaints at all, and the fries were fresh and flavorful. The wings were jumbo and juicy. I don't think I'll order the barbalo sauce next time, but other than that the wings were amazing. They come with fresh celery and carrots and blue cheese/ranch. Overall I was impressed. And the guacamole was fresh, chunky, and tasted great. The chips were good too, honestly no complaints and would order again. Overall I was surprised how good the food is here being a pickleball facility. The restaurant area is honestly much nicer than most restaurants in the Lake Norman area and I wouldn't think twice about taking someone here for lunch. Everything feels well run, thought out, and I'm glad to see it looks like they're growing fast. I showed up on a Tuesday afternoon and the parking lot was full to the brim - I honestly thought they must be sharing parking with someone else but no, it was just as full of people on the inside.

We pretty much knew what we wanted but enjoyed looking at the menu anyway. Started off with a 20 oz Black & Tan and a 16 oz Harps. So good. My husband had the Fish and Chips. Perfect fry, thick and flaky fish, served with a side of malt vinegar and tartar sauce. The slaw was crisp and savory and the fries crisp. He loved every bite. I had the Bangers and Mash. The sausage was tender with a delicious onion gravy. Some veggies were included (green beans, cauliflower and carrot). The mash itself was creamy and chunky, just the way I love it. Complete comfort food. We ended the meal by splitting a dish of Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was sweet and savoury, with a hint of salt to balance, topped with vanilla ice cream and more toffee sauce. (I haven't had a Sticky Toffee Pudding since I was a child and this was such a delicious treat to share.) The whole experience was exceptional and we cannot wait to go back.

Fish and Chips were a big hit! Perfect cook and the batter was light, crisp and stuck to the fish well! Tartar was great. Slaw was on the boring side but unnecessary in the end.
