Miss Sandy the CEO called and apologized to me for the unsatisfactory workmanship of the two men that was sent to my home to replace the fallen insulation and or missing sections of our crawl space. I thanked her for taking time out of her busy schedule to respond. She appeared very concerned the job was not done right the first time. and vowed to make amends. She sent the two men's Supervisor Mr. Keenan out to perform a quality check of the work that had been sent to do. When he exited the crawl space,we sat to discus what he observed. He explained the condition the condition it was left it in, and it highly upset him, for they had not done the job satisfactory and he qualified that was not a not a representation of her business practice. She takes pride in her company and likes to have satisfied customers. Mr. Keenan took pictures to show Miss Sandy and guaranteed he would make it right to my satisfaction. We had paid a nice price for a nice job which fell short in every way. Today September 6, two men, Jasen and Alex showed up on time between 8::00 and 9:00 as scheduled, with the proper materials to complete what should have been done by the previous men. He rang my doorbell and introduced himself and stated they were here to restore what was necessary to keep our home cool in the Summer and warm in the Winter and without further a-due went right to work. Now I we are late Senior Citizens, so I could not join them two see what they did, so Jasen provided me with before and after pictures to show a nice view as well as explained what he and his counter partner had done. From those photos, it appeared they had met my satisfaction for a job well done. Before Jasen and Alex left, they cleaned up the area and carried away all the old sagging and deteriorated insulation. In addition Mr. Keene had returned a check Miss Sandy gave him to reimbursed me for the HVAC service done. I had to pay to call a service man to service my AC unit, which he found in excellent working order. I did not expect this, but that showed me she took pride in her company and wanted to make amends. You can read the condition the other two men left the crawl space in in my previous review. I take back my previous unsatisfactory rating of this company and wish to change the overall to five stars. Miss Sandy was very polite with me and it shows she take pride in her company , by the action she took. I also have this company doing my pest control. I also stated the you lady had put poison control boxes in with my food storage cabinets. Miss Sandy explains they were not poison, but contained a sticky substance to capture the insects for coming out again and will be change out quarterly and spray.ed This put my Wife and me at ease. I will be renewing my Pest Control Contract with this company at years end. Therefore, I now recommend this company to all. If you happen to be unsatisfied with calling them, rest assured the owner, Miss Sandy will make it right when brought to her attention. If you need pest control, call Pest Out. This company, will treat you right. Tell them Joe sent you.

Dennis has always been very timely in returning my calls and able to fit me into his schedule very quickly and with short notice. We were having an issue with mice getting in the house and even before making an appointment with Dennis he was very helpful over the phone and provided us with lots of helpful advice for us because I had mentioned trying to combat the issue on our own. Using his advice we were able to locate the area where we felt mice were getting in through the garage and sealed it up. At this point though, the mouse activity was increasing inside the home and we felt like we had thus trapped the mice inside and having never dealt with a mouse issue before, I was incredibly creeped out by it and called Dennis back a few days later to make an appointment. He fit me into his schedule quickly and was able to come out and set up traps that were safe for my child and pets to be around. Within a couple of days we could see an improvement in our situation as we started catching the mice :) Dennis even came back out to the house and provided me with some more traps to replace the ones I had used. They have provided me with wonderful customer service and I plan on recommending them to all of our friends and neighbors!

    I have been a customer of Mares / Reliance for a long time. About a year and a half ago they put…read morerat traps upstairs in my attic. The rats ate through the wire to my HVAC and I just had to replace that. The technician from the HVAC co said there was a rat in the trap upstairs. Let me say Mares has not been up in the attic to check the traps since they put them up there. I called Mares spoke to Bud he said he wanted to come out and get the problem under control. He also mentioned that they could credit my next view visits to compensate for the rat issue. Long story short Bud and his associate came out this morning and the first question where is your attic I said through that hole in the ceiling. Oh do you have a ladder? No I don't. What company comes to your home unprepared like this? Wouldn't you think they would ask those questions with the tech who has been servicing my account? Anyway they said we cannot access your attic because we don't have a ladder. Ready for the bombshell? They tell us the company was bought out and they are no longer permitted to access the attics due to insurance purposes. So let me get this straight you go up in my attic place rat traps and now you cannot go retrieve them because the new company does not allow it? WHAT????? I also have a rat in the trap in the attic right now. I do not recommend this company at all. I can understand the company being bought out, but if you are that great why wouldn't you let your customers know the company has been bought out and le the customers know the new policies so they could make a decision to stay with them or look around for options. Well I looked around for options researched a company with high rated review and compatible in price. I found one and I am kicking Mares to the curb today. I highly suggest current customers call Mares to see what their new policies are and if they can do the job you need them to do. This is my honest review and I am sad to leave them, but I think their customer service dealing with my current issue sucks! My final though? Consumer beware Mares might be covering up more then bugs and pests. Do your diligence and do your homoework!! Ask questions and get the right answers you deserve!

    My wife and I married at an outdoor venue last week in White Stone, VA. We used the venue for the…read moreceremony and lodging for our immediate families. Once we arrived, three days before the ceremony, we realized the shortcomings of our plan to combat the mosquitos with Tiki torches, citronella candles, and bug spray, and I desperately began the search for an exterminator. My wife is currently expecting and Zika is a real concern for us. Plus, we wanted our guests to be as comfortable as possible. Due to the rainy weather in May, a competitor told me they were running behind two weeks and it was impossible to schedule service on such short notice. Next, I called Delta Pest Solutions and Shawn rearranged his schedule to visit the venue for an estimate in the afternoon and to return the next morning at 7:00 am to spray. Before he sprayed, we walked the property together, identified the areas for treatment, and discussed the best way to safeguard bees. He explained his warranty and told me to call if we had any further issues. The following evening, we left a porch light on before running errands and paid a steep price when we returned. While shuffling groceries inside, about a dozen mosquitos invaded the house and we spent about 45 minute killing them. I called Shawn the next day, and again, beyond all expectation, somehow he made time to return and spray additional areas. Despite many attempts, he flat out refused any additional payment for the second trip. He said it was covered under the warranty. The difference over the remainder the weekend was amazing! During the wedding and reception, the caterers moved in and out of the house for hours, and at the end of the night, we had zero mosquitos. None of my guests had one complaint about the mosquitos. We made bug spray available but the majority of the guests didn't need it. We are extremely grateful to Shawn and Delta Pest Solutions for taking care of us and treating us like family. I cannot say enough good things about him. He helped make our wedding a success and we can't thank him enough. I give him my highest endorsement!

I will say, it's been 9 months since I've closed on the house and have had four companies come give me estimates to fix what this company did. Over 12k later and a brand new fungus treatment, I'm finally getting ahead. Mitch, the owner, did come to my house on two occasions when I noticed the equipment the company installed wasn't working right. He tried to fix it, even stated that he shouldn't of installed what he installed because "he didn't like the sump pump" and that "he was in a hurry and should have used a larger diameter pipe". Both pumps installed were leaking and the one he "repaired" was throwing water all over the underside of the house. Oh, he also will do anything, whether he is listened for it or not, "to help someone out" which almost cost me even buying the house. I mean at the end of the day, the owner himself is able to admit he is wrong and didn't do the work correctly, but be very careful.

We called several companies for quotes, and hired Mitch & Mitch, who offered a quarterly service inside and out. I think we've been with them for about a year now. They are family-owned, and Mr. Mitchell has always been friendly, thorough, and has taken the time to show me any challenge areas and solutions. One of the biggest issues we faced that contributed to the pest problem (among other things) was water pooling at and near our crawl space. In addition to his normal pest control services, Mr. Mitchell offered to install a new vapor barrier as well as dig a French drain leading away from the house. We looked at other companies, but we started to build a lot of trust with Mr. Mitchell as someone who takes a lot of pride in their work. He never leaves until the job is done right, and he always asks me to call him if I see anything, and he'll come back. When someone has that kind of work ethic, I like to stick with them. We ended up hiring him for both of those jobs as well, and he did a great job on both. Our soil has a lot of clay in it, and he dug that drain entirely by himself, and it looked like back-breaking work. But he did it quickly, with a smile on his face (that wouldn't be me!!!!), made it look good, and it works well. Great company, great work ethic, wonderful people.
