I used to really love to go here to eat but my last time to be here the bean sprouts were really bad. It was super sour and we wanted refund because my throat not feel good anymore. And the waitress said maybe it's because of the teriyaki sauce. (Everyone knows that teriyaki sauce is sweet not sour) picked up our food from the trash can and brought it to the manager after she threw it in the trash can. And the manager kept look at us like we did it in purpose. Really? If you don't believe us then you can go taste it? And after awhile I and my friend started to get tummy ache and our throat were super super dried and uncomfortable. Probably because of too much MSG I'm not tried to make your business go down. Once you pass the assembly line you can't go back to add stuff. My first time there they had only the bottom off the pan of mushrooms so it wasn't as appealing, but right before my food was put onto the stove I asked if I could add some. But the cook said no, but the lady behind the counter asked why not and I said it's fine (he's cooking the food so I respect his answer without arguing) , but she left the assembly line to go talk to someone In the back and was gone for a few minutes. She just told me that if they were to do that all the people would ask for extra food, which I understood because it was busy at night. Thank you again to the girl for what you did. I've been going to this place for over a decade and have NEVER been disappointed. It was formerly called Great Khan's, but aside from the name and location nothing has changed. There is only one thing on the menu and it's always excellent. You choose your ingredients (assortments of meats and vegetables), they steam cook it by pouring water on it as it grills on a giant skillet right in front of you, then they add thick noodles and teriyaki and serve it to you piping hot. Sriracha goes perfectly with it as well. Remember this is a mall food court restaurant - so don't go expecting a Michelin rated dining experience. It's simple, straightforward, and you get the same thing every time - grilled meat and veggies + noodles. And it's phenomenal. I drive 30 minutes out of my way to a mall I don't enjoy being at with no intention of shopping so that I can eat this food. You don't go for the service and you don't go for the atmosphere. This place was SHUT DOWN by the HEALTH DEPARTMENT for COCKROACHES and RATS!!! The girl at the cash register was not helpful. She was downright rude when asked for extra napkins. She watched everyone put meat into the bowl to make sure they didn't smash it down to make more room in the bowl. The utensils on the buffet were coated with crusty stuff. They get busy especially on weekends and around lunch time in general. They all the options you can think of. Meats like chicken, pork & beef. For a few more bucks you can add shrimp (just ask the lady at the register) lots of great toppings/veggies. They even have tofu! Which is great for all you vegans out there. The try to keep it clean. The coolers are fast and very kind. The lady at the register is quick with customer service and can definitely multi-task between customers needs. On Monday 6/5/17 around 1 pm, my fiancé and I were there. I was going about filling my plate when the "manager" walks but and gets very close to my face and says "don't touch the food with your hands". I didn't get the chance to even look at him before he was out of my sight he almost startled me. I did not touch the food with my hands anymore but I couldn't help to notice him staring at me and was giving me a nasty mean mug. It was extremely uncomfortable. As I get closer to the grill, he's cooking on there and my fiancé asks me if I know the man because he was staring at me the entire time. At that point I didn't notice him because there was a GREAT mess all down the line I was trying to get the items i wanted in my noodles. I look up and still he has that mean look as if I was still touching my food. I assumed that was still his problem even though I stopped after he demanded that. When it is time for him to grab my plate he grabs it with so much force(bad intentions) that everything over the rim of the plate falls off. AND HE DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE IT! At this point I was angry because he was so angry at me for NO reason. Still I didn't say anything. My moms and fiancés plate it about to get picked up and my fiancé says "can you be more careful when you..." he rudely cuts off and looks at me, not my fiancé but me and says "you shouldn't have made that mess, next time don't grab so much food". The way he said this was in a VERY aggressive manor and his anger was directed to me. And he kept trying to go on and almost out his head under the glass to be or show more aggression. So in the mix of the arguing the "manager" did not let my fiancé get a word and he knocked the plate causing it to fall. The manger then says "no your ducking not" and runs to call security. I wish the security tried talking to me so I could explain but they realized there was nothing for them to do and they left. I would never do this but this person who stood off as a "manager" working on Monday 6/5/17 at around 1 pm should receive discipline. I could think of any reason why he acted like that. I did NOT make the mess that was there and stopped touching the food in my plate when he pooped up in my face. I am sure he doesn't care about the food or work because his wife showed up while I was still there and his son ran in the kitchen next the hot grill and his wife stood there until I left. I imagine she was waiting for free food and letting such a small voting next to that hot grill is not a good idea. Also the wife went into the back room with him and he took her a soda not food , maybe cause I was at sill there. I really hope management, real management looks at this. I do not ask for all that money and wasted food but do ask for better costumer service. I have many friends and family that go there and we do not deserve this "service". This is a review during COVID. First of all I'd like to say YES i could've cooked at home but our favorite BBQ spot was closed (the one in hilltop mall) so we chose to get food here. Their meat was completely dry like if it's been recooked a few times. Best way to describe it is STALE then you can customize your veggies anymore which wouldn't be too much of a big deal. Disgusting! I couldn't eat the food. Stopped here because there looked to be a large selection of vegetables, so I thought it would be a healthy meal. Wrong!! I purposely didn't add any of the sauces and since I don't eat meat, had only vegetables in my bowl. The grill looked dirty, as did the line full of spilled food. The cook kept adding water from a dirty pitcher and thoroughly overcooked the vegetables, until they were macerated and could barely be identified. At the last moment, he must have added a large amount of some kind of soy sauce based sauce, without even asking. Everything was so soggy and full of salt, I couldn't eat it. Horrible customer service, cashier and manager don't even know what gluten is... I asked about the rice bowl and asked them if they added anything that contains gluten and their response was "everything has gluten"... First of all no wonder this place is rated 2 stars!!! I've been here multiple times whenever I go to the mall to shop. I would usually choose this place over eating at the food court. But this last time I went was my last time coming (5/3/19). I choose a regular bowl like I usually would and proceeded to fill it up with my usual meats chicken and beef but I noticed a strip of blue plastic almost looked like it came from a grocery bag on the chicken so I put that piece on the white counter and on the next piece of chicken I got there was blue plastic as well so I decided to skip the chicken and went to beef instead. I had filled my bowl around half way with beef when I noticed a clear SHARD OF PLASTIC that looked like it came from a cheap storage bin from Walmart !! I don't understand how that got in there but what the hell that could of killed me. I decided to just get vegetables instead but I gave each vegetable an inspection before putting it on my plate and that shouldn't be the case. The food here is quite tasty and I like the way it's prepared. My one complaint, and it's a serious one for me, is that the meal is served in a styrofoam to-go box. I can't believe businesses are still using styrofoam. It is so detrimental to the environment. Not good at all. They have a really small selection of things that you can put in your chow mein compared to other places. It is also pretty pricey for the amount you get. The flavor is so bland, my chow mein tasted like watered down teriyaki even after I put a ton of the sauce they provided. The customer service is even worse... Figured that would be enough food for 2 and it was. They give you a plastic bowl and you can fill it up however you like. First the proteins beef, chicken, lamb and pork (it's frozen and thinly cut like most places); no seafood options or egg. They did have tofu later with the veggies. Next you can choose veggies such as bean sprouts, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, etc. as well as some spices like garlic or jalapeños... lastly sauces bbq, plum, oyster and a few others I forgot. Other places have a description on how much sauce to fake and how to mix it to get a certain sauce. Not here. Then you walk around the corner and give your bowl to the guys at the grill. They fry it and add some more sauce later on which in my opinion was overkill. I didn't know they added more sauce and felt like our dish ended up being extremely salty and tasting kind of blah. Not bad but nothing is go back for. For this price ~$13 i can get some better Chinese takeout food at most other places. There are a lot of other options not too far from there.. I love this place! I always grew up eating Mongolian BBQ at the Hilltop Mall in Richmond. The two reasons I gave this 4 stars is because they are stingy on noodles and when your food is being cooked the stove seems to get dirty and they don't clean it often enough in my opinion, but that has yet to have affect my experience there and the taste of the food. My family and i love Mongolian BBQ. Never had a problem with Great Khans but since the change in restaurants we have gotten ill 3 times! Tonight my daughter and her boyfriend ate here and both were sick. They ate only the beef, chicken, pork and broccoli with teriyaki sauce and noodles. Won't be eating here again! Fairly new and still getting used to all of it's crazy customers. They seem a little under stocked but that's to be expected when just opening up. They don't have good stuff like green onions or mushrooms anymore. Your choices are basically meat, carrots, regular onion, broccoli and zucchini. They don't even keep salt and pepper shakers or packets anywhere. So cheap now. I hope they go out of business. read more

Simple, straightforward fast, hot, fresh. Not exceptional, but I like to know what I'm eating. This is usually difficult in the burbs, especially at chain restaurants, so that's a positive, seeing what goes into the food. Flavors aren't good for much, but not terrible or off. It's OK, pretty good considering its mall food, in Concord. Plenty of mall wiggas hanging out, but no Mongolians in sight. read more
