5/5 service, ambiance and quality of food. I love this place. Back again and looking forward to enjoying: Sizzling rice soup and black bean beef chow fun.

In my opinion, the food has always been good since my first time here, everything I tried from the honey walnut prawns to the chow mein to the fried rice to the steamed rice he list goes on... the food is always hot even when you order it to go! Service is always on point, with the kind greeting at the door, quick seating if a table is available and fast service. The ambience is always chill, company is good and everybody always seems to be engaged in good conversation. .. Gave this place four yumms up before and I'm gonna give it to them again!

So my beautiful wife and I, were looking all over Yelp for some great Chinese food. We found it at Ming's! Their luncheon menu is priced right and quite extensive! 2 pages of great lunch choices! We picked lemon chicken and happy family delight. Two solid dishes! We did take out too, Mongolian Beef and Broccoli Beef, also two great options! We will definitely be back, in the near future' Great food, great service and very ADA friendly! Overall : 30/10!

Lunch special - bitter melon beef with fish fillets, egg roll and chow mein. Also came with soup.

Very good basic Cantonese food, very fresh and presented in an appealing way. It's a small cozy place, nicely decorated, and is located in a shopping area with plenty of parking. I had the lunch special, fish fillets with bitter melon in black bean sauce. It's one of my favorites! You don't often find this and I was so happy to see it on the lunch menu! Hubby had the beef chow fun which was solid. The service here is great. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. Hubby was just getting out of an appointment nearby and I told them he wouldn't get here until 5 minutes before closing but they said to have him come anyway, they would cook up his food now and to take his time. What great service!

First time here and the food was pretty solid. Started with the West Lake minced beef soup and also had the beef chow fun and the shrimp with lobster sauce. The soup might have been the best version I have had - small bits of carrot, water chestnuts, and mushrooms made every spoonful delicious. The beef chow fun had a good wok hei flavor. Will need to try other dishes

We went to Ming's in Pleasant Hill after seeing many great reviews. The restaurant's appearance is very nice, both outside and inside. We stopped in to try their weekend lunch specials. The staff was very friendly and quickly refilled our tea kettle with hot water. The Sweet and Sour Soup was a great start. My Crispy Ginger Chicken was excellent, though I did ask for extra spicy sauce to give it more heat. My wife loved her Yu Shaing Chicken. The restaurant is super clean and well decorated. We completely enjoyed the experience and the food.

Mings is a classic for a reason! Been ages since I have dined in. Great fast service with classic American Chinese dishes. We started with pot stickers and sizzling rice soup (my fav). Their crab ragoons are also great! The Mongolian beef could have been spicer but was good. Love the garlic chicken and broccoli with white sauce. Their fried rice has tons of flavor. The hong noodles are the fav- crispy noodles that soften in a delish sauce with tons of meat.

What a nice suprise in my Hot and Sour soup.

Ming's restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday so I can't rate my experience eating their food.

The food here is excellent. It's worth driving from Walnut Creek in traffic to get takeout.

I heard about this restaurant from my brother, and we decided to give it a try. My first…read moreimpression walking into it was that the restaurant was surprisingly huge inside, and I loved how well air conditioned it was, especially on a hot day. Overall, the place felt very clean, tidy, and well organized. The service was also great and staff were friendly and welcoming, which was definitely a plus. Now, let's get to the food review. Original Sisig Kapampangan: Absolutely delicious. It was served on a hot plate and had a savory, creamy flavor (possibly from the mayonnaise) while still tasting a bit tangy once you squeezed lemon over it. I'd definitely order this again. Beef Brisket Kare Kare: I honestly thought I didn't like kare kare until I tried their version. The peanut sauce was rich and savory without tasting like peanut butter in a jar like Skippy. The beef was tender, and I also loved the assortment of vegetables included in the dish. What really took it to another level, though, was the bagoong sauce (on the side), which paired so well with this dish. This dish was absolutely yummy. Sizzling Beef Brisket Ala Pobre: We were really excited to try this because we'd heard great things about it, but unfortunately, it didn't really deliver. The flavor was pretty bland, and even though it was topped with fried garlic, it was still missing a strong garlic flavor. The beef itself was tender, which was probably the only good thing about the dish, but aside from that, the sauce and overall flavor were just underwhelming. Garlic Rice: This came in a pretty generous portion enough for three. I could definitely taste the garlic, but I think it could've used a little more. Still, it was good overall.

We came here for a birthday party with a large group and the restaurant is massive! The bar side…read morewith the live band is a little overstimulating and a lot was going on. We ordered way too much food and the food was good, but not the best Filipino food I've had. Our list of food is too long, but I'll point out the items that stood out. The beef kare kare was comforting, the sisig was good and I think the adobo rice was done right. I don't recommend the palabok -- the sauce was too thick and needed more noodles. The servers did their best with the volume of patrons. I mean they worked their tails off and everyone was serving every table. The music was waaaayyy too loud; we could not talk to each other. I love live bands but the sound system was on steroids to the point where we had to leave because many of us were overwhelmed. lol. The restaurant is nice but I think there's just a lot going on all at once. It has potential to improve for sure.
