Came in looking for pool toys for a party, they did not disappoint! They also have pool maintenance items like chemicals and parts if you do your own service like me. They do have service techs too though so if you need help with pool or equipment repairs they can help and with service and regular cleaning too. The sun keeps eating up my pool toys so I'm sure I'll be back soon! read more

Went in the AM this weekend here, and my first reaction was VERY bad, after leaving I had this horrible review written and saved on my phone... then I went back later in the afternoon and had a much better experience. Basically, this stuff isn't cheaper than anywhere else and the customer service is OK (once they get their day started, at 10am it was horrible!) Other side comment, some people just need to know when to retire, and if not retire, admit when they are hurting business more than helping it and find something more productive to do with their time... seems to be a case of this here... read more

I have been a diligent customer of Sun Patio and Pool for the last 15 years since I have moved into Scottsdale. After coming across this previous review I felt I needed to say something in their defense. This store has been in business for over 27 years, ran and operated by the founder/owner who has been in the pool industry longer than most of the "reviewers" have been alive. To me that says a lot for being a small local family owned business. This store may have good days and bad days but I have never had an issue with the customer service, the employees are always ready and waiting to see if they can help me with anything. As I am not as young as once was, one thing I appreciate, is when I purchase anything but especially the heavy pales of chlorine, someone is always there to help me out to my car. They're very knowledge about getting my pool back in shape. During monsoon season, the severe dust storms always seem to destroy my pool, turning it into the summer home of the infamous swamp monster. Though these guys always seem to get it clear and sparkling! Mr. K, is entitled to his opinion, however he is rude and contradictory in his statements. If his experience was so bad, why did he return in the afternoon? Is it possible that his experience so horrible because he felt inferior in his abilities in repairing his pool? As a final note, I need to inform everyone that the owner has had some health issues and was hospitalized for about a month and a half on the date in which Mr. Sam K had posted his review. The owner has put his sweat and blood into the business he is there 7 days a week only taking a couple days off a year. Telling someone after so long that their life and knowledge doesn't mean anything would be the same as telling them to rot in their grave. For you Mr. Sam K I wish you the best if you read this review and I hope you change your attitude. For future generations may only see you as you see the world, dehumanized and irreverent. read more

We had used Sun Pool & Patio for a number of years, and found them to be expensive, but reliable. I don't know if they are under new management, but their service is awful now. I went to their office in June to request service on our tile. The woman at the counter told me that their technician, Bernie, would be in contact with us. After a week passed with no call, I called the store. When I told the woman that I hadn't heard from Bernie, she said, "OK, I'll have him call you", and acted like she was going to hang up. I asked her if she might like my name & number, which she hadn't gotten yet. She said, "oh, yeah". Wow. Well, finally Bernie gets in touch with my wife and comes over. After appearing pretty disinterested about the whole job, he tells her that he will get back to her with an estimate for work ... he never did. I decided to give them one more chance, calling earlier this week about work on our pump. The bored-sounding kid said he would have a technician call us back. We never received a call. We called another pool service, whose representative sounded much more interested and professional. I would strongly advise staying away from these people, if you actually would like to have service performed. read more
