The first 60 days after purchase were a nightmare. I reported a loud noise, and "Steve O" assured me he would send someone to check it out. Despite constant calls, I was given the runaround. The young lady who answered the phone promised to take my information, but no one ever called me back. After 90 days, the refrigerator stopped working entirely. Now, I can't even get through when I call. "Steve O" told me to "keep calling and stay on top of it because he's busy." Well, I'm busy too--but I wasn't too busy to pay for this. As a property manager I've purchased several appliances from Sunbird and for the most part considering the appliances are for rental units, Sunbird does ok. I recently purchased two black refrigerators, one of them had magots in the freezer section (I have the photos), the second refrigerator has a short and continuously is blowing out the circuit in the unit. Sunbird has been provided with photos, phone calls (that have never been returned) for a request to address this issue, and they have not. I personally would never purchase from them again. read more

This used appliance store sales faulty appliances and both the owner and staff are very ghetto and rude. I bought a stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer from them and have had issues with every single appliance since day one! When they brung my 1st stove it wasn't working. The second stove they brought out oven stopped working and the third stove they bring oven stopped working the day before Thanksgiving causing significant delay in my Thanksgiving meal. I called the shop and Steve who is the owner promised me to be out at 8 am. He did not show and was very rude to me when I called to see about his whereabouts. He told me that I was ungrateful and should be grateful that he was coming out on Thanksgiving day. He then told me that his friend just lost her 2 children and when I told him that I understand bc I'd lost 2 children myself but that I still needed my stove fixed he became very belligerent and told me that I had bad energy. They came and fixed the stove but the next day my refrigerator went out that they had just fixed about 2 weeks before. They give out a 6 month warranty but it's no good because you have to call around to their workers and basically beg them to come out. The customer shouldn't have to call around to different workers to see who can come out in order to get appliances fixed! Further more they don't show up when scheduled and you have to call back and when you do the staff acts like they don't know anything. The washer that was replaced bc the first one didn't work properly is still acting up after the worker came out to fix it! They sale equipment that they know is messed up and then have a problem when you try to get it fixed. I was told by Steve that he would extend my warranty because I had so many issues from the beginning. He did not honor his word! I will never buy anything nor recommend anyone to buy anything from this place ever again! read more
