He quoted a fair price and when I told him that I could get the part for less money from the dealer with my Costco coupon, he agreed to let me order it and have it delivered to his shop. I brought my car to his shop and he stuck by his quote and hasn't changed it. So far no unpleasant surprises. I'm looking forward to getting my car back and will update my review.

Not even close to 40,000 miles on the transmission rebuilt and I already had a check engine light come on saying my torque converter clutch(internal issue) is out. Took it back Walter and they could only do so much with their code reader. He quoted me cheaper to get the transmission rebuilt AGAIN and I asked him why am I being charged and that it is too early for the transmission to go out. His response was "i only order and install the parts. I can only do so much" Decided to take my care else where Had a failed auto transmission on my 06 Acura TL and was referred here by Honda Anderson. Walter and his team definitely knows how to take care of their customers and his work is 10000% great! He is not like other mechanics that will rob you for your money. This guy makes sure your car is running smooth whether it's a failed transmission or something wrong with your car. His work is impeccable and amazing! He is very friendly and gives you the best price quote for whatever work that needs to be done. My car is running 3 years strong with a brand new transmission thanks to Walter, Jose, & Primo. I continue to come here for my oil changes just so I can give them my business. If you ever have a failed transmission, I highly recommend coming here. Alberto was responsive and had a team out in a day. Work was completed and payment requested. It ended up being more work than he anticipated and we agreed upon a higher rate. It was fair and I paid. Both he and his team made comments about a one year warranty on anything they touched. 5 star rating at this point. After a couple days, there was something off. Upon inspection, his team set the second shock at a different height than the first. I messaged him a couple times including pictures. He finally answered when I called. We set up a time for his guys to fix it. They didn't show the first day and after calls and messages, he answered and set up for the next day. They came out and fixed it but noticed that this caused a bolt to bend. They ordered new ones and installed the following day. 4 star rating at this point. 2 days of driving and a new talking sound is happening. Many calls and messages and no response or answer. It turned out his team did not install the bushings on one of the shocks and left the sway bar loose. Should be no stars. His team that arrived was nice enough and clean. I'm guessing they should have had a senior mechanic overseeing them due to the errors. As for his stated "warranty", it seems to be one of convenience and sounds good but it holds no water. Alberto isn't an honest business person and does not stand by his word.

ABSOLUTE TRUSTWORTHY LEGENDS!…read more Being a good son I have been fixing up my Moms prized possession her favorite car. She would not take another car even if I offered her a Rolls Royce. So anyway the transmission was acting up (starting from 3rd gear instead of 1st) and I was short on time, which made me make a crucial mistake by taking the car to a nearby shop instead of B & J. Those little jerks at the other shop lied to me and tried to tell me I had to get a new transmission. They said they checked every milk and cranny and that it was 100% my tranny. The only thing is my Moms car shifts as smooth as an angels walking through the gates of heaven. Right away I called B & J (Who was originally my first choice, they were just further away so I didn't have time to pop over there) and B & J said that sounds like the solenoid, which the other shady shop said it is impossible for it to ever be. they said the Elvis would be brought back from the dead, before it was ever the solenoid that was making the transmission start from the wrong gear. Then the other shady shop said we checked your solenoids and they are clean and perfect like they were never used before. You could tell the guy was lying from his mannerisms, long pauses, shaky fingers and side to side eyes. Anyway I snagged my Moms car back and jammed to B&J and what's funny is when I walked in I told another guy who I didn't communicate with yet asked what the problem was and he's like "yeah, man that sounds like a solenoid" so yeah B & J replaced the Solenoid and the car runs like a reborn race car.

I do a google search and it's just like looking for medical advice, according to google my truck is dying. I spoke with Alex and he said bring it in. I get a call later in the day and he says my transmission is fine but has some recommendations. I took his advice, they changed some valve in my transmission and also greased the driveline. Boom it's like a completely different truck. Alex might quite possibly be the last honest shop in town. Highly recommend!

The message said " vehicle dynamic system need to be checked." My gas mileage also went from 25 mpg to 18 mpg. I took the 2016 Forrester in and Chris hooked up a diagnostic tool and said let's check the fuel regulator. He cleaned it and it worked. It took him less than 10 minutes and did not even charge me. First time I took in a Nissan versa and had a transmission replace for a very good price and the turn around was fast. Nitesh also let me use a car for the day so I can get to work and back. This time they redid the whole front left end suspension on my lexus gs300. They did the work while I was at work and the car was ready by the end of the day. Nitesh and the rest of the staff are very friendly and they take care of you whether you wait in the shop or need to drop off for the day. I'm always skeptical about new mechanics but these guys are good people for sure.
