Great quick service on a weekday morning! Our food came out quick and was hot and delicious. It was pretty empty in there but the mimosas did their job and my to-go orders beautifully with condiments packaged up perfectly.

Every once in a while we take a drive to the cascade Sundance for brunch and it never disappoints. Got the French toast this time and it was so good! Service is always good with the kind waiters they have. Going around 10:30am is always semi busy so we get everything pretty fast.

I have been coming to Sundance with my family for years, and I know exactly what to order. When you get the recommendations for the chef, please listen to these. That will take you far. Let's me just pause for a moment to appreciate the French toast. Picture this: swirl cinnamon bread coated in mouth watering egg batter. There has to be a ton of butter in this recipe- and I'm not complaining. 10/10 would get again (and again, and again). Be warned, I like sweet breakfast. Another pause- the homemade strawberry jam. Get this with a biscuit. Boom. Magic. Call me crazy, but their coffee also hits different. Have fun and enjoy!

Taco Tuesday with Margarita and Arizona Egg Rolls

Sundance Grill is just a simple down home restaurant with great nightly specials Monday through Saturday. They also have a Monday thru Friday 3 to 6 happy hour on Margaritas , Sangria and Domestic Beers for $3. They also have $3 appetizers during Happy Hour. We are from Arizona and enjoy the Southwest decor . We have visited here 3 times and have had excellent service and food.

    Aztec iced coffee

Today was our first time here but it certainly will not be our last! My husband and I went here for brunch and were immediately greeted by the host. I had the aztec iced coffee and chorizo and bacon breakfast tacos. He had the taco Mary and Maryland crabcake benedict. Every forkfull was better than the last. Our server Chloe was so kind and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. She even brought me a cinnamon roll (since yesterday was my birthday) which was amazing! Sundance is apparently known for their giant cinnamon rolls and we can see why as they are made in house (as well as the majority of their menu). The cinnamon roll was drenched in a rich icing. We left with 3 boxes of leftovers and overjoyed with finding a new restauraunt to love!

Some things to note: you can order a cake from their bakery hut they need 72 hour notice. Cakes from outside bakery are allowed, there is a charge of 1.50 per person. It has to be from a bakery, it cant be homemade. Reservations on weekends is for 12+ party. Besides the amazing service. The food is amazing! The cinnamon rolls are the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had. We got it without the bacon. It was flaky and warm and just so delicious. For my entree I got the breakfast sandwich with vegan sausage and no egg and side of potatoes. It was also very good. The biscuit is very soft and buttery. All the entrees were huge portions and enough for some leftovers. I will definitely go back even just for the cinnamon roll and the service! We had a small group and had no issue getting a table on a Saturday.

I've not been to the Plainfield location, but this seems like the typical local breakfast spot - close packed tables and multiple rooms as it naturally expanded over the years. It doesn't appear like there's a ton of parking, but there's both a big lot across the street behind the businesses, and a lot behind Real Food Cafe you can park in (which I was unaware of until recently!).

At first I was hesitant because of the price, and it being biscuits, but they made me eat those words and more. It was like a large biscuit muffin top with jalapeño, cheese and honey glaze (I think) and it came with a white cheddar cheese sauce to dip it in that was outrageously delicious. For a guy who hates cheddar biscuits, I've got to say I'm blown away. My wife ordered the steak with fingerling potatoes and carrots. It was on the pricier side, but yet again well worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were pretty good too. They had live music playing as well tonight. It was a jazzy kind of vibe and it didn't over power anyone talking or anything. The guy had some serious skill too. To top it off, we had some pretty killer service from everyone there. From the hostess taking our names, random servers walking around, and our fantastic server (I forget her name but she was blonde and worked upstairs and had a a really great attitude. The expo or food runner dropping our food off anticipated us possibly needing an extra plate and brought one without asking which was super awesome and ended up coming in handy ( I knew my wife wouldn't finish that steak alone) and she brought it without asking and was ready with a smile to get more. I used to be a GM (I hate when people use this saying but...) truly I know how hard it is to find good workers and the folks running it here seem to have it down. I come from a place where you have to drive 100 mi or more for average service. So seeing exceptional service is really almost too good to be true. I'd definitely stop in for a bite. It's worth every penny. We'll be back for dessert, they have seasonal crème brûlées!

I dined at TOG today for a business lunch and, unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing…read more At the end of our meal, I asked for a to-go box because I had barely touched my food. My guest and I spent most of our lunch talking, and I left with nearly an entire meal. About 20 minutes after leaving, I realized I had forgotten my box and immediately called the restaurant to see if it was still there. The young lady who answered the phone asked where I had been seated. I explained that I was at the very first table at the front of the restaurant. Within seconds, she told me there was nothing there. Her tone made it clear that assisting me was not a priority. Given that the hostess stand is located at the back of the restaurant and I was seated at the front, I do not believe there was enough time for her to actually check before dismissing my concern. After I sent an email regarding the situation, the hostess responded that she had walked through the restaurant looking for the box. Based on the timing of our phone conversation, I find that difficult to believe. In her response, she also stated that she checked with the servers after our call had ended, which suggests that no real effort was made while I was on the phone. What is most disappointing is that I am a regular customer. Today, I paid $56.00 for lunch for myself and my business guest. Between a server who was largely absent throughout the meal and the dismissive interaction when I called about my forgotten food, the level of service fell far below what I have come to expect. Everyone has an occasional bad day, but customer service is often defined by how issues are handled after something goes wrong. In this case, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I do not plan to return.
