    Birria Quesadilla
    Wendi Z.

I mean, a birria quesadilla just can't go wrong. I love that it is cheesy and filled with a good amount of flavorful slow-roasted beef. The birria is also a little bit spicy (but not too much) which added some interesting kick on your taste bud. The quesadilla came with rice and beans as a side dish on top of the already big portion size - I was only able to eat half of it and was very full so I would recommend to share it with your friends. $19.95 is a decent price for its portion size. Somehow beef birria was not an option on their menu (only birria tacos were) but we asked the staff and he had no problem making it for us. The staff was very friendly as well. We went around Halloween time and the restaurant was full in for the vibe with a lot of fun decorations/lightings. Overall, a hidden gem in White Plains with authentic Mexican food and great value, so try it out if you are ever in the area.

    Baja fish tacos

4 stars for the tasty tacos.. otherwise its another 3. Even though i was probably over charged and Im a glutton for price punishment. Yes, i like good deal but rarely get one and thats my own fault many times.... The food was much better this time, very good and tasty! I kick myself when I buy a "basic" bottle of beer in most restaurants.. 8 bucks for a corona at 230 in the afternoon. I was too early for happy hour. :( . I know you held it, chilled it, opened it, put a lime init and served it, but it's still killin' me. I always have buyers remorse with basic bottled beers at any restaurant. :) you need a cold beer with tacos though, nuff said. Anyway had lunch inside..service was good and waitresses friendly. No one was there at this time of day, so hard to judge how it would be normally. I usually do takeout. I will qualify what I think was an overcharge with , there is a big menu. The menu they give at the table didn't have the assortment of items that you can actually order when you check the menu online at their website. So maybe the waitresses don't know what they can charge for certain things and just charge the prices they"know". My combo was charged at 19.95 online the price is 17.95 baja fish tacos with rice and beans. My friend was charged the same price for a combo but got a lesser priced taco and one baja fish taco. 19.95 but if ordered separately it would have been 17.95 for the two tacos and a side 6.95, 4.95 and 5 or 5.95 for side according to the table menu. Maybe they charge more for sitting down in the restaurant compared to takeout? Plus the credit card fee for paying by cc. At least they don't call it a convenience fee.. I feel that it is definitely a terrible charge because it seems to be convenient for me and the restaurant as well, they don't have to deal with cash, but i have no idea how the cash handling and accounting works and, I know, they are charged and fee by the credit card processors.. I left 20 percent tip by cc, so im assuming that had a cc fee as well. Almost $80 with tip.. rough, but tasty.

    Tacos al pastor

Last minute plan was perfection! Entered to a live band playing a variety of Latino songs and classic rock. Band sounded AMAZING! Ordered guacamole to start with some chips along with a Mango Margarita on the rocks with tajin on rim....deliciously mixed. My tacos al pastor came out and you can smell the freshness of the seasoning. Overall very happy customer. Band continued performing great hits to sing along too as main lead walked around the tables. It was the perfect Friday night! Band will return on 2/14/25. Can't wait!

Had a really delish burrito and tacos. Food was served quickly and was hot and fresh. The outside seating area in the back felt cozy and we enjoyed this spot. Would definitely recommend and we'll go back for sure.

    Gluten Gluten-Free Breakfast Tacos

Gluten free friendly, big plus! I love their gluten free breakfast tacos. The salsa verde is super flavorful, I wish it was bottled. I have also gotten their Cesar wrap & crane asada tacos, everything is delicious!

    Birria tacos the keto way
    Erica S.

Trying to hold fast to a keto lifestyle and really wanted some forbidden tacos. So I asked the cook if he could make me birria tacos with melted cheese as the shell and no tortilla. Without a problem he did just that. The tacos were so good. The cheese was perfectly cooked and it held the meat perfectly . I'm very impressed with how they had no issues with altering the dish to fit my lifestyle needs. Will be ordering these again soon.

Small- pernil special of the day
    Allana D.

I was sitting with my husband a few months ago wondering "where do you think I can get some no frills pernil around?" It was too big a question for that day, but time, chance and Sundance Kitchen and Cantina have finally answered my prayers! I honestly don't think I need to say much more. Food was great, service was great, there's outdoor and indoor seating ... what else can I say except come here and come hungry : p

    Pico Wrap

First off, I have to acknowledge the freshly squeezed orange juice...wow! I would come back daily just for the amazing juice. Place was very busy - both for take out, and for their outdoor seating. The food was decent - nothing to write home about, but solidly good, especially for the price. I tried the pick wrap and the torta and both were solid. I will definitely make this a regular spot.

Special luncheon 18Mar, missing maduros, $14.95! Oxtail could be more tender

I hadn't had mediterranean in a while and I'm not head over heels for the place near me so I wanted to try something new. This place seemed decent enough. I ordered a greek salad and hummus with pita. There were varying gyros, another greek salad with chicken, some platters including the falafel platter that GF orderd. My salad was wonderful. The ingredients were fresh and that dressing was lovely. It was a salad I actually enjoyed instead of regretting the entire time I glared at my coworkers who ordered real shit with envy. The hummus was also very creamy, authentic hummus with a slightly different taste than I am used to but head and shoulders above any store bought bullshit. Everyone else said good shit about their food. I tried one of GF's falafel from her platter and it was really good. My only complaint is for $24 or whatever it is, i would expect more than a few falafel balls and one side. Kinda a rip off. But everything tasted really, really good.

This restaurant was bustling on a Saturday afternoon. They have about seven or eight tables indoors…read moreand a couple tables outside. There were also several picnic benches around the side of the building, but I wasn't clear if they belonged to the restaurant. You order at the register and they call out your name when your food is ready. They have a ton of vegan/vegetarian options, as well as a great breakfast/brunch menu. I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit. The cheddar jalapeño biscuit was delicious. It was buttery and dense. The flavors were mild, but the sandwich was the perfect portion size. I also got a side of the vegan bacon. It was rubbery and tough to chew. Would not recommend. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito. We also shared the buffalo cauliflower. The cauliflower pieces were well coated in buffalo sauce and very flavorful. I also got the Don't Kale Me juice. It was tangy, citrusy, and refreshing. The Deep Roots smoothie was also quite tasty. They have free self-serve water and the employees were quick to wipe down tables so they were clean for the next party. Looking forward to coming again!

I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit with the help of the cashier, I didn't get her name and it's on the receipt but I threw it out. Even though this was not a vegan dish, who could pass on a collosal cheese biscuit. The egg was a nice accompaniment to this cheese biscuit also. The lady that gave me the biscuits said, wow! That smells nice. I thought she was giving me a compliment on the order until I sniffed the bag. Normally I don't do well with my sense of smell but, boy oh boy! That was a gooooooood smelling biscuit. And the taste, it tastes so good, it makes you want to slap yo momma. (Don't do it, it just makes you want to slap her.) Needless to say, I really enjoyed this cheese biscuit. In hindsight I guess I could have grabbed a hot drink, maybe next time, and there will be a next time because I told the lady that this was my first time and at the restuarant and I'm new in the area.
