Where to start? Passing through Wickenburg this has always been our place to stop for a great burger, pizza, shoestring fries, and soft serve ice cream like the childhood memories of Tastee Freeze! Well.....not that way anymore. We walked in in. Friday afternoon and were free by the young man behind the counter. While the older gentleman and lady (maybe owners) are bickering. I smile to break the moment and the continue on with nothing as we stand in front of them. Ordered 2 simple burgers, fries, and drinks. 1st burger made completely wrong. Asked for extra sauce and the cook told me it's going to be awhile or I can come to the counter. Let's just stop there. This is NOT a tastee freeze any longer. They serve Blue Bell ice cream and the food was horrible. The burger was hard as a rock, fries were soggy and the staff was just grumpy. Except for the young gentleman who took my order. Spare yourself, eat elsewhere!!!! read more

Went offroading nearby and was dripping in sweat, all I saw was "ice cream" on the sign and I pulled in quick. I really want to support your restaurant, because literally you could have the best pizza in town if you tried a little harder. i I drive by and try to pick up as often as I can. When you're on your pizza is delicious... when you're not you're just not. I told the guy that I had to order on DoorDash because your phones weren't working and it didn't seem to bother him or say anything about it. normally about 20 minutes away I order. And it's usually sitting there waiting for me when it's slow. 38 minutes with DoorDash. I got there my mozzarella sticks were already sitting on the oven so by the time I left, they were cold. I'll report how the rest of my order is when I get home in five minutes. Maybe I just wanted to hey sorry about that but it's like no appreciation for the $60 dinner for three.. update. Pizza was delicious as usual. Sandwich was missing cheese, even though it's a turkey and cheese sandwich. Completely saturated with mustard which was not normal. Mozzarella sticks were ice cold. Based on your reply, you didn't read my post saying that I actually had to order from DoorDash. And your employee said he knows the phone was not working. The phone didn't ring once while I was in there for 20 minutes and he said it would just ring and there would be no one there so I tried four times, and it would ring twice and then hang up. I tried a few other numbers just to make sure it wasn't my phone. So yes, you do need to fix your phones whether it's somebody on the other line or not. read more

No masks worn. I asked for 1 scoop and the girl was pretty confused about how to round it and was going to ask the other one for help but she was busy so she just handed it to me dripping like this. Uh, thanks. Inside is like a snack bar. Love wickenburg but would go anyway else for ice Cream. Had a large soft ice cream cone. The ice cream was creamy and good tasting. The server was warm to us. It may have been the owner. There was plenty of parking. The bathroom was clean. Prices are average. We will return to try the burger and fries with some more ice cream. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch heading north to Vegas. Wanted to try a one-off rather than the usual McBurgerKingBell. Ordered a couple double cheese burgers, fries and a chocolate shake. Everything was yummo. The burgers actually were identifiable as beef (unlike some aforementioned chains) Tasty, cheesy, just the right amount of messy. Fries hot and cooked just so. Hubby raved about the shake. They're made with Blue Bunny ice cream. Thick, chocolate and delicious. People nice, everything cleann and a parade of locals came through. Always a good sign. It's too bad they don't have a Washington location, I'd be there way to often. read more

Overall: Ok. I had a sub sandwich (turkey avocado) that was tasty, but too much bread for the size, which takes away from the overall experience. Service was quick and friendly. I also tried their wings. They were good. It could have used more of a kick, but they were pretty standard. read more

Not a bad place at all. Its older. Family owned. Shakes are amazing! Pizza is average but pretty good considering it's all made by hand and to order. We will definitely be coming here again. I think just for shakes though. Customer service was nice and sweet too so all in all a good good little place to stop for a treat. read more

I used to come here when it was Tasty Freeze and the food was excellent. The business was sold and is called Tasty. The quality of the food is gone. I ordered a patty melt combo with fries and a drink. The burger was not juicy at all. Almost like it was precooked and set off to the side to be reheated. The fries were not cooked all the way through and were barely warm. The soda was good. I know they will not get my business again. read more

If you 'n yer partner ever pass along about Wickenburg way, you can rustle up some purdy fair vittles and frozen custard right here. This here Tastee Freeze ain't one of them there Weinershizzle ones neither. It's got it's own thing a goin' on with pizza which I ain't never tried but I have set down with one of them there cheeseburgers. I had them folks throw some grilled onions and bacon on that critter too. It weren't one of them high falutin Fezburgers like them fancy city folk eat off of Central down there in Phoenix but it was purdy tasty. I reckon out here in dusty ole' Wickenburg it stands just fine on it's own. Yup. God's honest truth here as well, when I sauntered up out of this waterin' hole a long tall cowpoke tipped his big ole' hat in my direction and offered up a polite "How-do." read more

Only one person working there wore a mask. We didn't notice until we'd payed, shame on us. We left without taking the food. Also, leave your personal politics personal. All I care about is that your food is good, your restaurant is clean and that during a pandemic, you can do the very least and wear a freaking mask to protect your customers and yourselves. Waving a candidate's flag outside the building does a great job of telling over 50% of the people in this country not to even bother. Again we noticed this too late, shame on us. It's a real shame, we've eaten here before and it's been good but we won't come here again. read more

Stopped here because the line was short and the reviews good. Minus one star off the bat because the guy at the driveup window couldn't wear a mask. That does not give me much hope for the staff inside. Minus another star because it's took a good 20 minutes over waiting... at the drive window... to get the food. Burgers were good. Fries were good. Food was expensive for what you get and the wait. Probably not likely to go back when in Wickenburg and definitely won't go back based on mask policy alone. I wonder if the pizza is good- but it wasn't what I felt like that day so maybe if I'd ordered that I'd have been more impressed. But next time, wear a mask, it's not difficult. read more

The pizza itself was good enough, but very pricey. This price, $16 for a 14 inch cheese with one other topping may be comparable to the area but would be expensive most elsewhere. They were out of pepperoni when we went. The pizza came out after 20 minutes - they were slammed with phone in orders? The flooring looked as if it could stand to be updated and there were cobwebs in the windowsill. If I had seen the cobwebs right away we would have walked out without ordering - to me cleanliness in a restaurant should be a given. read more

My husband got the brisket sandwich which was highly recommended. And that came with 2 large sides. He got the Cole slaw and potato salad. Both were tasty and not over powered with spices. He also added Mac and Cheese , which was so creamy! If you are visiting the area or traveling to Vegas, this is a great stop and you will get a wonderful homemade meal served by an amazing staff.

Our server walked by and asked, "Everything okay?" while she kept walking without even looking at the table. If she had taken the time to look, she would have seen that I hardly touched my food. Overall, it was a bad experience. We spent over $200 for three people, and the food and service were below average.

I am a regular I love this place normally but this last time I went through the drive thru I saw a young kid by the name of Julian in the back shoving food in his mouth with his bare hands then touching food that was a customers and sending it out without washing or gloves. I'm absolutely grossed out. I was with my employer in her vehicle I purchased a brownie Sunday a lemon lime slushie and a swirled cone absolutely insane the lengths this business is going to instead of fixing the problem at hand I sent them a screen shot of how much I spent Saturday. This Restaurant ROCKS! Per Maricopa County public records, this restaurant received NO VIOLATIONS during a routine health code inspection of the restaurant last week. Considering the thoroughness of these inspections, and the fact that most restaurants receive at least one violation, having a perfect inspection says a great deal about this establishment. Do NOT order the pizza as that would prove to be a most unsatisfactory decision. Poor quality crust and the toppings on their "special" pizza were unremarkable. On the upside their wings were very tasty. And with covid running wild, the hospital up the street straining to keep up, there was not so much as a single employee wearing a mask.
