    Seasonal sangria and chips
    Jessie C.

Solid happy hour with wide selection of drinks and apps! We got a round of the seasonal sangria ($6) and some chips and chicken poppers (~$10). The sangria tasted more soda based than usual drinks- regardless it was great! Service was pretty slow, slightly stand off ish and hard to flag down. The inside was dim and super cozy/clean! I'd recommend a happy hour and be expected to wait.

Okay obsessed with this place! Loved the vibes! Came in for some food and was very surprised! All flavorful and reasonably priced! Staff was friendly and their patio seating and the indoor seating made me feel at home! It was a little bit on the quiet side but enjoyed being away from the craziness of lower Greenville! The only thing I wanted after leaving was a shirt or a hat!!!! Thank you so much Gina the bartender, Beto the server, and their barback Rogelio for a great time! Will be coming back! FOOD: Pork Chop $16 so yummy and such a great price The Cuban Sandwich $16 fries to die for Nachos w/ Carnitas $12 throw some jalapeños on that bad boy and you're good to go!

The Tuesday $20 burger deal is tooooooo die for. You can choose between fries or mashed potatoes, clearly I got fries. You get a "signature" drink with it, I wasn't a big fan of the cosmo, but I'll try a different drink next time I go! I've also gotten the fish & chips (the sauces it comes with are so complimenting to the flavor). And I've also gotten the chips I queso, I wasn't a fan of the brisket but other than that it was yum!

Delicious Crispy Chicken Salad (cobb salad) but needed to be bigger.

My friends and I came here for cobb salads... except the Libertine Bar calls them "Crispy Chicken Salads." Regardless of the name, this place makes a FABULOUS salad! Delicious crispy chicken, butter lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, hard boiled egg and avocado. We all chose ranch dressing and it was PERFECT. I came HUNGRY and devoured the whole thing.... So why the 4 stars? The salad was too small. It was SO GOOD but I could have eaten two of them. My stomach was still growing after I finished it. So had the salad been bigger, totally 5/5 all day long. Price was $13 which was reasonable but would have paid a higher price for a bigger one. (Perhaps I just had a huge appetite and for most normal people this would have been an appropriate size. Haha) Restaurant is super cute. Plenty of seating both indoors and out. Waitress was friendly. Definitely recommend.

Went to lower Greenville for happy hour and decided to try this place because I have never been. Walked in and immediately got a seat and came during dinner time, around 7 PM during on a Thursday. they also do trivia on Thursday's which was actually pretty fun. I didn't try Any foods, but the drink I had was good. I sat next to people that had the park shanks and those looked amazing so I will definitely be back to try those and possibly some other menu items. It wasn't super loud inside and the service was great as well

A neat place on lowest Greenville. A big wooden bar top with some tables in a long galley shaped space. Good beer on tap, some good cocktail options, and a small but solid menu. There's some dedicated parking but the lot is small and lots of people hang out in the area for finding a spot for your car can be a challenge. Overall I really like it.

I'm a sucker for a good Cheese Board!!

Yum, love Libertine Bar. Recently saw 4 Day Weekend in Lower Greenville and wanted a quick drink and bite beforehand, and this was the perfect spot. We've been here a few times before and it never disappoints. Haven't been yet for brunch or lunch, only the evenings on the weekend when it's super crowded... There isn't a ton of seating, so be patient! Last visit we just got a few "bar bites." The muenster cheese fries which are covered in plenty of cheese + jalapenos + bacon + onion, delicious. And I'm a big fan of their cheese board. Pay the extra $3 for 5 cheeses (instead of 3) with housemade mustard, fresh fruit, honey, jam, delicious salty cornichons, crackers, & a baguette. You can also add salami and prosciutto! Jon eats all the gluten and I pretty much demolish the rest. It's a fantastic cheese board and the perfect amount of food for 2. Really generous portions for cheese! Libertine has a wonderful cocktail menu, a great selection of beer, and a decent wine list. I usually stick with a glass of red or a simple salty dog, and Jon will get something a little more exciting, like their Campfire Old Fashioned or Black Manhattan. Bartenders and waiters have always been lovely, quick, and attentive, despite how busy it gets in here.

I went for happy hour with my boyfriend. The fried Mac and cheese bites were amazing. We ordered the steak sandwich and the fried chicken sandwich. The steak sandwich with au jus was incredible. Our waiter was really nice and made my sandwich spicy upon my request. Overall good food but not worth the price.

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

WILL NEVER BE BACK!…read more HATED. EVERY. MOMENT. OF. THIS. PISS. POOR. EXPERIENCE. EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. VALET. NOT. FREE. I called before deciding where to eat on a Sunday afternoon to confirm parking situations. Parking is not easy downtown so this played a huge factor in figuring where, out of the dozens of brunch places, to eat. Definitely a bit of a walk to get accommodated at the actual restaurant so valet seemed the most reasonably enticing for parking solutions. Well, I called and spoke with the lady at the front desk. I confirmed with this little girl FOUR TIMES IF 1. They had valet available today 2. If it was complimentary. Come to find out it was not complimentary. And $7 for parking just doesn't sit well with me when there are ample free options else where with satisfying beverage, meal, ambiance, and service. All of which, I DID NOT GET AT HAYWIRE. I come in and although I had a reservation that I was 10 minutes early for while noticing tables available, I was told by that same girl who lied to me about parking I needed to take a seat. Reassuring me that it would only take two minutes to be seated. 10 minutes later I see coupled and groups walking in and guess what? They were immediately sat. While I am waiting to be sat at one of the three clean tables I'm staring at. I finally tell my boyfriend I am about to eat at the bar and he goes to the hostess stand to inform them our frustration and guess what? We were sat immediately. I get seated and there are two standing fans placed next to my table that's blowing my hair all over the f*****g place. I had to tell them to turn them off. What? No AC in this place either?? We immediately ordered and got the elk tacos for an appetizer. The tacos are WAY too spicy and way too salty. Too spicy AND too salty?? They're a no for me. You literally can't taste anything because of both! I HATED these little tacos. Probably the worst I've ever had. Ever seen someone attempt to pinch a bit of salt to season and the entire top comes off?? These tacos. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak. He loved it (loves spicy and seasonings because he's Cajun) but I tried it and it was over seasoned. Again? Couldn't taste what I was eating. The mashed potatoes were divine. Enjoyed those! And then the green beans were tasteless. Hahaha what a joke. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles and it was literally too spicy to eat. Inedible. My eyes teared up, my nose started running, and I couldn't taste anything after a couple bites of the spice. I was so f*****g over this place I just ate my boyfriend's mashed potatoes and we left. If I had it my way, I wouldn't have paid for a thing here. They don't deserve our money and I HATE they got a cent from me. I'm livid. I hate this place W I L L N E V E R B E B A C K

The deviled eggs, dragon…read moreroll, and pigs in a blanket were all tasty, and that's honestly the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, everything else was a struggle from the moment we walked in. We didn't have reservations, but eventually found seats at the bar. Given how busy the place was, we figured the bar would mean faster, more attentive service. We were very wrong. We ordered two beers, a non-alcoholic drink, and three appetizers. The drinks arrived, and the appetizers followed about 10 minutes later -- fine so far. But there were no utensils. We had to ask for them, and we asked for plates as well, which never came. The empty dishes from our appetizers sat in front of us for a solid hour with no one clearing them. The bartender who took our order never once checked on us. With 3-4 people working behind the bar, only one server approached us during the entire 40-minute wait between appetizers and dinner to ask if we needed anything. The bartender told us twice that our food was "coming out shortly" -- and still, 40 minutes passed. When dinner finally arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered the Mongolian Short Rib, listed clearly under the Entree section of the menu. The bartender claimed I had ordered off a "happy hour" menu -- one I never saw or was told about -- and had swapped it for BBQ Pork Ribs without saying a word. Knowing a replacement could take another hour, my friend swapped plates with me and took the ribs. He had ordered the steak frites, which, for a rare steak, should have taken no more than 5-6 minutes to prepare. The third entree, fish and chips, was just okay -- a bit soggy and not particularly fresh. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the bartender never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else. The food has potential, but the service was inattentive, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable for a busy restaurant that should know better.
