Certainly I'm a novice for sunglasses but the phenomenal staff here at this storefront, made me feel like a seasoned sunglasses connoisseur. Camarillo outlets I was charged twice for the same purchase and I called them today to verify the double charge and the manager was extremely aggressive and rude. She said she can't check that over the phone and she can't deal with that. She doesn't know that she just lost a client who buys glasses with them for years. Upon our arrival, Frankie assisted us from start to finish and was a huge help in getting my wife and I the perfect pair. He listened to what we were looking for, gave great suggestions based on what we'd told him we wanted and provided great customer service throughout our time in the store. Frankie allowed us time to try on various pairs that we we were interested in and even gave us a few options that he saw were similar to the styles we seemed to gravitate towards. What I love about the Sunglass Hut is the ability to try on multiple brands, both high end designers and the brand names we've all come to know. My husband and I had an extremely disappointing experience at Sunglass Hut (Suite 508) this evening. We went to pick up a product we had ordered after receiving a call from the store. From the moment we walked in, the sales associate, Emily, was unprofessional--rolling her eyes and clicking her mouth in annoyance. When we provided the phone number that had called us (805-484-3799), Emily dismissively stated that it was not a Sunglass Hut number and responded with attitude. She then called the manager, Alex, to ask if he had called us, and when he said no, she rudely told us that she had tried to explain the item wouldn't be arriving but didn't think we would understand--again, with an unnecessary attitude. We calmly told her that perhaps the call had been a mistake, but instead of de-escalating the situation, she told us we were beneath her and asked us to leave. As we were exiting, my husband retrieved our receipt, which Emily had been keeping out of reach. Before leaving, he noticed a pair of glasses and stopped to take a look while I stood by the door texting a client. At that moment, Emily suddenly asked if she could help us, to which we politely declined. Her response was shocking--she aggressively told us to "get the hell out" of her store because we were making her nervous. My husband and I are in our 60s--why would we make her nervous? She then began yelling that we were giving her a panic attack, even though we were not engaging with her at all. I tried to explain that my husband was just looking at glasses, but she continued to yell at us to leave, threatening to call security. I told her to go ahead and call security, as we had done nothing wrong. She proceeded to make a call, falsely claiming that we were yelling at her and causing a scene--all while we stood there in shock at her behavior. When security arrived, we calmly explained what had happened, and they apologized to us. We then visited the other Sunglass Hut location (next to Michael Kors), where the staff was much kinder and also apologized on behalf of their colleague. This was by far the worst customer service experience we have ever had. When we initially paid for our order, there were no issues, but when we went to pick it up (which had not even arrived), we were treated with complete disrespect and told to leave. As senior citizens, we found this treatment not only unprofessional but outright appalling. I sincerely hope that Sunglass Hut's management addresses this incident and ensures that employees at Suite 508 receive proper training on how to treat customers with basic respect. read more

Do not go there!! Dishonest and unprofessional! I paid over $349 about 14 months ago, I was told that I have a warranty for two years on both of my glasses I came to the Thousand Oaks store to return an exchange order. I have existing to find out from my surprise that they lied to me and the warranty only for 13 month, which indicated on the receipt, and I failed to look at it. So since Camarillo store lied to me, I called the store to explain them. What happened and the person that answered the phone her name is Sam. I told you exactly what happened and just because I asked her for her name she said "she was going to help me , but because I asked for her name she hang up the phone on me , but before she hang up, she said that she is not going to help me! I was polite on the phone and all I did. I was trying to resolve she did not give me any solution and this is the reason I asked for her name I'm not sure why she was so upset because I asked for her name! On 3/29/2022 I bought a pair of sunglasses here , the sale person is Sarah ( 571428) . She said if I paid the assurance fee ( $ 19.99) more I could exchange the same pair within 13 months , I'm ok with that . And today I passed by another store to make the exchange to another pair , the sale person told me I need to pay $40 more for the trading fee if I want to exchange the same new one , So it means besides the assurance fee I need to pay another fee is $40 and Sarah didn't mention about that , Or why Sunglass hut didn't take $60 at the beginning , and to me it's cheating ! read more

My first time in the store and asked for advice on good glasses to wear throughout the day. The one female and other male worker suggested glasses that seemed okay at first. Soon to find out they leave red marks on the sides of my nose after just minutes of wearing them. The customer service is not helpful and they just want to scam you out of your money. They're a little stretched from 2 years of use and gsI asked Aaron if there was anything I could do and he said possibly heat them and bend them. He went ahead and tried but it didn't help. Ahhh, the HUT. Great place to grab some cool shades. This location is an outlet, so theoretically the prices should be cheaper. I must admit that I don't frequent Sunglass Hut so I can't be sure if the prices here are cheaper or not. The only pair of glasses I liked was $255 so I wasn't seeing any great discounts, ha! The Camarillo Outlets have lots of great shops, clean and modern shops and plenty of parking. This Hut is regular sized and contains approx. 200 different styles of glasses. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. Love that the store has safety rules for covid! Employees had masks and gloves on. But I have never felt so ignored and scrutinized at the same time by store employees like this before. Walked all sections of the Camarillo outlets and came in to buy sunglasses for a wedding party. But the employees were busy talking with each other while cleaning. Be careful before buying here, their glasses may have scratches on the glass. I bought one pair and right outside the store (in the sun) I realized they had scratches. I asked if they had other ones in stock, they said no. I asked for refund few minutes after my purchase because the other model I wanted was also the only pair of glasses in store with scratches. I guess most of their models are cheaper than other sunglass hut stores because of defects...? read more

Customer service here is amazing. One of the associates named Dan helped me fit my new Persol sunglasses to my face better despite the fact I purchased them at a different Sunglass Hut. The folks at the Thousand Oaks location clearly didn't know what they were doing when I purchased my new shades there but luckily my man Dan knew exactly what he was doing and now my shades feel great! Just a shout out to Austin. About a year ago I bought some shades here and while I was finalizing the transaction...one of the workers offered to adjust my old sunglasses. Even though I didn't need it I just said yes out of convenience. When I got home my old glasses were crooked and I never got around to coming back until today. Austin informed me that the frame was bent and it wasn't something that usually happens with a simple adjustment. I was adament that the previous worker must have damaged them bc that's the truth. Luckily he was able to adjust them back to normal with ease and I went on with my day not being retroactively pissed about someone ruining my glasses a year ago lol. read more

bought some glasses about a year ago and they broke had been about the third time I came to get them fixed; i was helped by RONNIE she was extremely rude and sarcastic when she was "trying " to help let me tell you she wouldn't even let me explain my issue she interrupted me each time I tried to talked to her. When she looked up my name there were different glasses on there and kept telling me that she was going to charge me 100 dollars to get them fixed they weren't even those same glasses !!!! The arm on my Wayfarers has been loose for the last year or so. I tried replacing the screw on it, but the screwdriver in my cheap repair kit wasn't working for me. I stopped in here on a whim (my family was out for pizza across the parking lot) just to see if they could either tighten the arm, or remove the screw for me so I could try to fix it on my own. I've had the glasses for a little over two years, so I really wasn't expecting much beyond that, in terms of service. Dyanna warmly greeted me as I walked in. I explained what was going on, and asked if she could help me out. She tried to tighten the screw, but realized it was as tight as it would go, so I asked her if she could just loosen it for me instead. She worked on the screw for awhile, and was eventually able to get it out. She informed me that it was a defect in the glasses and they shouldn't be like that. (Did I mention that during this time she was also patiently fielding questions from a customer that kept randomly breaking in to our conversation?) She told me that there was a two year manufacturers warranty, but I told her I'd had them for a little longer than that. After she got the screw out, she cleaned up my glasses, then went over to grab another pair. I thought that maybe since I was outside the warranty, she was going to do me a solid and replace the arm, or something. A few seconds later, she printed out a receipt and asked me to sign it. I asked what I was signing, and she told me that she was going to go ahead and replace my glasses!! WHAT?!?! I came in to see if I could get a screw tightened, and walked out with a brand new pair of glasses!! Talk about customer service!! Thank you so much, Dyanna!! You're the best!! read more
