This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Extensive menu, amazing food. The speed at which they cook the food is also a huge upside.

Good food. Friendly staff. Seemed like a small town cafe with home cooked Mexican food. It's a great hidden treasure.

Fast service, I would recommend their huge burritos or the nachos. Large menu and great prices.

When we arrived and realized the restaurant was attached to a gas station, I told my husband we should go elsewhere.

We chose to sit at the bar and Kevin did a great job taking care of us. A quick drink and small plate dinner and the evening was perfect. So, lesson to learn: make a reservation if you want a table. The food and drinks are fantastic, and the reputation is well known. Absolutely worth a stop, especially with the warmer weather setting in; outdoor seating is really nice.

Found out tables were only available via reservation which I thought was a bit odd for a Mexican restaurant but we were offered a seat at the bar so we jumped on that. Inside the decor was festive with a number of Frida pictures and great wallpaper in the restroom. We ordered guacamole and tacos. The guacamole came out quickly and was tasty, with a slightly sweet twist due to the pomegranate seeds and chips just as I like them. I ordered the milwalke and manolos bam bam tacos. I preferred the bam bam because it was filled a bit more but I didn't love the mayo based sauce on either. I would've preferred that on the side or, even better, an offering of salsa instead. I would've loved to review their salsa but only heard about it as I was finished up and it was offered to the couple sitting next to us at the bar. I was excited to try here but there were a few misses during our visit so we'll head to other local restaurants when we're in the area for a more satisfying meal next time.

What I love about this place is that the menu is constantly changing. Each day may bring something new, so come prepared for an adventure. Came a little before noon with a friend. It's a small place, with a few small tables and a couple larger ones for groups or seating strangers together. Lots of nice light coming through the large windows. Got seated right away with a couple waters (with lemon). And Joe (one of the owners), helped us settle and took our orders. The two entrees today were Blacked Mahi-mahi Tostada and Wagyu Beef and Summer Vegetable Bolognese. These both did not take long to come out. Both the perfect temperatures and excellent flavors. So good that you want to take your time and savior the complexity of all the flavors and textures. It's a gourmet experience in a casual environment. We popped in on a whim on a recent Friday afternoon and were delighted to be seated on the patio. Our server so friendly and chatty! We only came for drinks and apps, but enjoyed everything. I had some kind of Mexican lager on tap that had a lime taste to it... so refreshing. My mom's paloma, which I had to try, as also tasty. For the apps we got the (recommended) groupers strips, and the crab cakes. I'd order both again for sure. Fresh tasting fish indeed. Not often we're in this area but I'd come back next time we are!
