Good food. Friendly staff. Seemed like a small town cafe with home cooked Mexican food. It's a great hidden treasure.

Fast service, I would recommend their huge burritos or the nachos. Large menu and great prices.

When we arrived and realized the restaurant was attached to a gas station, I told my husband we should go elsewhere.

Found out tables were only available via reservation which I thought was a bit odd for a Mexican restaurant but we were offered a seat at the bar so we jumped on that. Inside the decor was festive with a number of Frida pictures and great wallpaper in the restroom. We ordered guacamole and tacos. The guacamole came out quickly and was tasty, with a slightly sweet twist due to the pomegranate seeds and chips just as I like them. I ordered the milwalke and manolos bam bam tacos. I preferred the bam bam because it was filled a bit more but I didn't love the mayo based sauce on either. I would've preferred that on the side or, even better, an offering of salsa instead. I would've loved to review their salsa but only heard about it as I was finished up and it was offered to the couple sitting next to us at the bar. I was excited to try here but there were a few misses during our visit so we'll head to other local restaurants when we're in the area for a more satisfying meal next time.

Busy restaurant, great things are in store. We were greeted by friendly bartenders but after dropping off water, took them a long time to come back around to take our order. When they did came back, it was to ask us to accommodate another couple at the bar by sliding over, rather than take our order. Eventually we ordered, guac of course and a few tacos each. The guac came out super quick, which was a good thing because the tacos took forever, like 30 minutes or more. Which for tacos, should never take that long. We also had to ask for napkins and utensils at this time. The food showed up, quesa-birria and the brisket. The brisket taco was excellent. If I come back, I'll order those. The birria was soggy and lacked the crispiness expected from something called birria. Even tho there was consomme called out in the description, non was provided. What made it worse is when the food was delivered to a couple near by, they were offered salsa and all the things. Felt like we missed out on things. It should have been better. Not sure I'll give it another try.

What I love about this place is that the menu is constantly changing. Each day may bring something new, so come prepared for an adventure. Came a little before noon with a friend. It's a small place, with a few small tables and a couple larger ones for groups or seating strangers together. Lots of nice light coming through the large windows. Got seated right away with a couple waters (with lemon). And Joe (one of the owners), helped us settle and took our orders. The two entrees today were Blacked Mahi-mahi Tostada and Wagyu Beef and Summer Vegetable Bolognese. These both did not take long to come out. Both the perfect temperatures and excellent flavors. So good that you want to take your time and savior the complexity of all the flavors and textures. It's a gourmet experience in a casual environment. They sometimes run out of items, so get their early if you want to be sure to your first choice.

Pros: - Not usually crowded - Quick service - Good value Favs: Chili (I know, I know...but they DO have good chili) Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla - a ton of hearty food for the price. we always have leftovers from this. Chips and Queso - wife has to have this every time as an app. Ancho Salmon - I was really surprised by the amount of flavor in this dish. At the end of the day, it's Chili's...so everyone kinda knows what they are getting restaurant wise. Service and location make this one a hit.

Our server came to the table quickly to get our drink and appetizer order. When she did this she had a "southern accent." After she walked away we laughed about how fake it sounded. When she returned, the "accent" had disappeared. This made us laugh and we enjoyed it. I am part of the rewards club so we got chips and salsa for free. I ordered a 3 for Me combo of chicken crispers with chicken enchilada soup and a strawberry lemonade. I love the strawberry lemonade at Chilis and I order it every time I go! My mom ordered the Chipotle Fresh Mex bowl and it looked delicious! Unfortunately it was a little too spicy for her comfort, but I think I might order it next time!
