Hi, I have had a multitude of positive experiences with this great job that we call Qdoba. I always get the burrito bowl and the whole meal is fresh every time I come here. They throw that fresh tortilla on the side and it makes me very happy when i dip it into my queso. I love their hot and spicy queso even though the average caucasian person cannot handle spice in any way. They are all like "wahhh my apple is spicy" Like no go get that hot and spicy and build that tolerance little boy. I will be coming back to this place over and over and over and ordering more things and food and leaving positive wishes to the staff. read more

I will NEVER return to this restaurant. I was scolded about moving a sign which I hadn't touched. I tried to order a naked burrito and I was told "A burrito without a tortilla is not a burrito" The only older person stepped in to say "I think she wants a bowl" which was correct. Finally on checking out the cashier attempted to cheat me for $10. She did apologize and refund my money. This whole experience has soured me from ever going into this restaurant in the future. This qdoba had begun the "death spiral" of restaurants. Probably a bit slow due to huge number of nearby competitors and now struggling financially so they start to cut corners and cut costs, hassling customers about number of toppings and skimping on scoops/portions. Difficult to communicate with staff and the presumed manager at the register giving orders was not pleasant to interact with. Sad :/ read more

First time at Qdoba. Ordered on line. All went well after a couple of starts. Our order was ready, correct and just as we expected. The Surf and Turf as well as the Chicken bowl were both generous and complete to the order. Greeted as i arrived and had my items quickly. Great job crew. read more

So sad. We have been regular customers over the years and this place has gone so far downhill. Today was exceptionally sketch. I usually order the burrito bowl with chips but after glancing behind the counter and seeing the dirty aluminum bins filled with their chips sitting on top of each other, and all over the floors and all over the carts I decided not to. The bowl I got was disgusting to say the least. I can't believe I paid almost $20 for it. When I walked in the person working was texting on their phone and no one greeted me kindly. The only positive part I can say about the food was the rice. The meat was dry and oddly seasoned, the pico de gallo was NASTY very soggy tomatoes and no fresh vegetables in it it ruined the bowl & the guacamole was flavorless, I cannot say I will return to this location. read more

Worst visit I've had for a long time. First they tried to cheat us out of double meat, thinking we didn't notice. We did! They communicated with each other in their language when they clearly spoke English to us. Rude! Then...the manager or owner (Unsure) had her family bring in Mexican food from another restaurant and ate it in the common area by us. Rude! I usually go here once a week. But hadn't in a while. And this was by far my worst experience with this location. Ordered online and had to wait 10 minutes longer than the given time. My order wasn't right! Missing key things like queso and hot salsa. So it was bland and lacked any real favor and heat. The thing I could taste the most was unwashed lettuce. We came in the afternoon when they weren't busy, but the workers acted like we were bothering them. I got charged extra for chips when I ordered the Mexican Street Corn Dip from the chips and dip portion of the menu. I've always ordered at other locations and never been charged extra for chips. I know it's only $1.05, but I don't understand why when we've ordered two regular menu items and then a side we have to pay for chips. I won't be returning to this location. read more

PLASTIC IN THE FOOD. I don't eat fast food. But over the last few years Qdoba has literally been the ONLY exception. Well... this has now changed because for the second time I find PLASTIC in my food. I called to complain after biting into my burrito to find a hard chunk of plastic. But they did not pick up so I resulted in email. Told them I want my money back and don't want to eat here again. They offered me two free meals very offended I emailed back due to being ignored by my request. When I got a response the man acknowledged that my complaint was read. Nothing more. I am shocked that this Qdoba has bad reviews. We go here all the time and the staff is always courteous and the food is always fresh and delicious. The new building is beautiful and it's fun to go during the summer with their garage doors open. Highly recommend!! read more

I came for carry out with my daughter at about 630 at night. There was a note on the door apologizing saying they are short staffed and had to close early because they didn't have enough staff. Went in to see all the employees working hard and busy. A customer came up complaining about having to wait. The manager ( I'm assuming) did a very job trying fo explain they are short staffed to the customer who didn't care and was being very rude. Once the customer sat back down the manager apologized for the outburst. We got our food and left. I wanted to say how hard everyone was working even being short staffed we got out food and good service and they didn't let the rude customer get to them they were all smiling and happy! read more

I just found out that they now give you half the queso and raised the price of "Chips & Queso". Looks like they may be failing.

Just not good; the chips seem to be drowning in salt, the food gets buried in too much cheese or guacamole or sour cream, and just not good flavor. Further upon our last visit (October 2021) the family ended up with stomach issues so I think we are done visiting this place. read more

Terrible food!! I love Qdoba and my two meals at this particular one were like eating straight salt. I don't mind an occasional salty meal, but somebody screwed up on the rice and also on the peppers and onions. It was so salty that it was not edible. I will never return to this Qdoba. Stopped here on the way back to the airport in Milwaukee. It's a Qdoba, not sure what else I can say about it. Food is what you'd expect from Qdoba. It's fast and, relatively, fresh. I enjoyed my meal. The place was crowded during my visit and loud. Employees/workers were friendly and I had very little wait, even with the crowd. read more

An employee wasn't wearing a mask over her nose. I politely asked her to pull her mask over her nose and change her gloves before making my food. She did but a second later her mask had fallen and wasn't covering her nose again. If employees are wearing cloth masks that don't fit the restaurant needs to provide them with a surgical mask for their shift. A person preparing food at a restaurant should be wearing their mask properly during a pandemic in my opinion. read more

Told them I was a diabetic trying to avoid the carbs of rice and beans, so I wanted a lot of meat and vegetables in my burrito. I got a tiny amount of meat and a tiny amount of vegetables, and in the end I had this tiny little burrito for $8.50. The staff was friendly, and exceptionally well trained in saving their company money. Never again. Update: As a courtesy I called the manager to tell them they were getting negative Yelp reviews (averaging a "2") and she said they have internal reviews and really don't care. I wish I could give -10 stars. Seriously the WORST customer service. I had to repeat my order multiple times and I was still correcting them. The lady making my food told me "I couldn't handle the spicy salsa" and proceeded to give me one I "could handle" explaining her spicy was different than my spicy. Their soda machine was getting restocked and I mentioned we had been waiting to fill our cups and she gave me all this attitude and came over and SLAMMED the door so loud it scared my daughter. I will NEVER come back to this location and this was my first time at any qdoba, so I will not be supporting this business at any location. Absolutely will tell people to NOT come here. And to top it off my food was ice cold. Threw it out in store, super disappointing that a restaurant can actually stay open and be run this way. There's a reason they don't even have three stars. After many bad experiences at numerous other locations and taking nearly a year off from ordering qdoba, the Oconomowoc location has reminded me why I first fell in love with the chain. I've always received accurate orders, and hefty portions with fresh ingredients, and exceptional service at this location. Laura at Oconomowoc made our orders tonight and she was efficient, accurate, friendly, and an all around pleasure to deal with. Laura deserves a raise, maybe give her her own location, like one of either Waukesha or Mukwonago locations that can't get their crap together) I have no doubt she'd whip that place into shape. read more

The man who actually finished our order was great, however, the "manager" who looked like she was fresh out of highschool informed me they were out of brown rice. No problem. However, there was not enough lime rice for an additional burrito for my boyfriend. She offered to look in the back for more and never returned. If you're a manager, return to your customers. We understand if you were out of product, but don't leave customers waiting on YOU when you said you'd return. read more

I love this place!!! It has more healthier food than a restaurant like McDonald's. I just have a suggestion for QDOBA: when I ordered guacamole on my burrito, it was all in one spot and I couldn't taste it throughout the whole burrito except that one spot. So, what you could do is ask if the customer wants guacamole FIRST so then the worker can SPREAD the guacamole on the burrito tortilla. read more

Right at lunch time a few people in line. They had one girl running the whole line took about 15 min to get through and get food. 2 managers were standing by her and did not help. This is the worst qudoba i have been in. The building is nice. Then to top ot off one of the lazy managers came over and sprayed the table next to me shooting the cleaner onto the table i was sitting at. If yoi are going to clean tables near wherr b people are eating spray the rag aiming down then wipe the table. This place is run by a person who really doesnt give a crap. I went to this location yesterday on my lunch break. I waited in line and asked the employee making the food if they have "the Big Ben" here. The Big Ben is a local special burrito that I always get at the Delafield location, and wanted at the Oconomowoc location as well. After I asked the employee if they had it there, he sighed and said "eh I mean yeah, but I don't really like making it." In the moment I thought, "alright I'll just get a regular burrito," so I did. But looking back that was a pretty unacceptable response from the employee and I was not happy with the service at all... He seemed to be a manager as well because he was yelling at another employee telling them what to do. read more

I usually enjoy food at Qdoba but this was an awful experience. We went in on the grand opening- it was pretty crazy so we cut them slack... Now a few weeks later we returned at 5pm. The individuals preparing the food were clueless as to what was in any of the four dishes my family ordered. The portions were heavy for some items ( 4 scopes of queso on the bottom of a nacho bowl), to almost invisible (2 pieces of cubed meat in a taco). They ran out of C02 for the soda machine-so no fountain drinks. Who runs out of CO2! Who ever manages this store needs to get there act together. You need to train your staff! read more

I too work at a local business in Oconomowoc, our office frequently orders for lunch. We placed a large online order, and shortly after we called to confirm they got the order (we had an issue in the past). The girl who answered the phone was incredibly rude & short with us. "Yes we received the order, in the future just so you know it's incredibly difficult to answer the phone during the lunch hours. You should have gotten an email." Before I could explain that I was simply checking because we have had a problem in the past (even after receiving said confirmation email), she ended the call. Guess what, when we went to pick up the order, it had NOT been received yet! I don't appreciate being told false information to get me off the phone, let alone being hung up on. We will be re-thinking our lunch options, such a shame since it is so convenient. read more
