We are a mixed-race couple and sometimes get rude or bad vibes by the big banks. Or indifferent service. I brought Honey in after I joined BECU and we are always treated so well. Rose is kinda special though, above and beyond. She even emailed me a really yummy roasted cauliflower recipe with gravy while we were concluding our business. All BECU employees that I have encountered are so nice. But Rose is especially awesome. Give this woman a raise!

(the primary loan had already had a very well detailed inspection and was 4 times the amount of this loan) - No communication about the inspection even happening. The selling realtor had already taken the lock box off the home and there was a mad rush to let the inspector into the house. - Really poor communication regarding what was happening with the loan process. No notification on whether our loan was approved. - Late in getting the loan documents to escrow causing us to wait 45 minutes in the lobby of their University branch to sign the loan. I would understand a little bit of this if we were a risky applicant. Problem is that we have impeccable credit and are very well qualified. Is this really how they treat customers who will make their payments?

I purchased a 2020 Audi S7 from this dealership. Before the purchase, I was told that the vehicle…read morewas in excellent condition, had never been in an accident, and had no issues. After the purchase, I discovered serious problems that were never disclosed to me. The first issue was that the side window was improperly installed and misaligned. In the photos taken at the time the car was being sold, it is clearly visible that this problem already existed at the time of sale. The second issue appeared about a month later when I discovered a large amount of water under the vehicle (approximately 20 gallons). This problem could not be noticed immediately because the water was trapped underneath the vehicle's lower structure. This strongly suggests that the water issue existed before the vehicle was sold. I informed the dealer about these problems, but they refused to address any of the issues and ignored all of my messages. I also want to point out a very serious issue regarding the license plates. I fully paid for the vehicle including registration and license plates, but when the plates arrived at the dealership, they did not give them to me for three months and provided no explanation. When I came to the dealership in person, I was told that I had to pay an additional $350, even though this amount was never mentioned in the contract. When I refused to pay money outside the agreement, I was told directly that I would not receive my license plates. I tried to resolve the situation peacefully, but the dealer behaved in a dismissive and unprofessional manner and completely refused to resolve any of the issues. Because of ignoring the customer, hidden vehicle issues, and attempting to demand additional money outside the contract, I strongly do not recommend using the services of this dealership.

Hesitant about taking on a car payment, she had Randy call me and explain the process from beginning to end. Went in to look at an Explorer Sport Trac, and upon walking in they greeted me at the door, handed me the keys and said lets go. Took it for a ride, kicked tires checked lights, etc. Upon deciding to purchase , the paperwork came out to be exactly what they told me it would be. No little extras, no hidden fees. That being said, the "family feel" of WA Fed also means it operates a bit slower and at times a bit behind a bigger bank. The online banking options are definitely limited, tellers focus more on customer service than on speed, etc. At the end of the day the employees are great and I love the customer service, but the functionality and convenience definitely lags behind chase (where I do most of my banking).
