A NEW Sunright Tea Studio location opened in Milpitas! It is located in a plaza with various Asian snack/tea bars and restaurants. It is spacious and well lit, the color scheme is warm toned, yellow and orange hues. The self order kiosk is to your right. You order at the kiosk and they will make and call out your order at the counter. They have a new flavor series for autumn. My friend got the plum tea, he loved it but I personally wasn't a fan. I love their mango drinks though, and the jelly in the smoothie is slurpable so the textures go well together. I recommend! read more

Skip the Xing fu tang line this place is way more worth it. Plus you get the iPad ordering so you don't even gotta talk to anyone. And they had the honkai star rail cardboard cutouts . Their sunright fruit tea is quite delectable if I do say so myself. If you like citrus that's a must try, and while I like the way they do all their fruit teas but don't sleep on the milk tea either. I recently ordered 23 drinks via DoorDash from Sunright, and while the drinks arrived packed in two boxes, not a single straw was included! I tried calling Sunright to see how they could "make things right," but the phone just kept ringing and eventually went to a busy tone. When I attempted to check their DoorDash listing again, it was abruptly turned off. To salvage the situation, I had to rush to a nearby boba shop, buy more drinks, and purchase 23 straws to make up for Sunright's glaring mistake. For a $200+ order, I expected the whole "kit and caboodle," not a "sip and struggle." I highly recommend the ceylon milk tea w/ cream pudding and the jasmine mt with grass jelly but if you want something with no milk, their sunright fruit tea is super refreshing. Drove 3 hours for the LADS (Love and Deep Space) event and I have to say I'm not impressed with how they handled the giveaway and one of the employees (female in white with glasses) had an attitude and gave me the wrong character for my drink. :/ I thought every order came with a specific character lol. The tea is delicious everytime. What we like is the consistency of the process and the quality of the drink. The ordering process is also very efficient, we thought. Customers order drinks using a kiosk and pay by themselves. The system is very well designed and so easy to use. The place is cleaned, there are no tables. Sunright Tea is a great addition to Milpitas and this Taiwanese chain is starting to sprout up all across the Bay Area. I love that you can mobile order for pickup. They offer a good variety of regular teas, milk teas, fruit teas, cheese foam drinks, frosties, and a KIDs menu. They sure know how to get a kid hooked early. My son was so excited when he saw a kid's Oreo chocolate boba drink on the menu. Their menu also features recommended sweetness levels. It's nice to customize your drink's sweetness, ice, and toppings to ensure you receive the perfect drink. Some of the drinks I've ordered from here include the matcha tea, strawberry matcha, Ceylon milk tea with fresh taro, fresh taro frostie, and the Sunright fruit tea. I really enjoy their fresh taro in my milky drinks. The interior is bright and inviting but this is not really the place for you to go to hang out. There are no tables and the interior is small. There is a small bench area though. You can also buy instant boba if you are the type to never be without boba. P.S. So happy this location opened! Now I don't need to drive to Sunnyvale. They have some of the best milk tea/special tea drinks in the bay. This location is less busy than the Sunnyvale one which is a plus. You can either order ahead or at the kiosk. I ordered the crème brûlée boba milk for $5.95. They only have one drink size. You can choose sweetness and ice level. I went with 25% sweetness which was great. My drink came out within 5 minutes. Excited to try other flavors! read more

My favorite drinks from here so far are definitely the Yakult teas. The recommended sweetness for these are 100% but I like to go for 25% or even no sugar if you like your drinks less sweet. Give the Grapefruit Yakult a try if you want something refreshing! Order at the self-ordering kiosks and pick up your drink. There's limited seating and plenty of parking here, but it's better as a "grab and go" boba spot. In my experience, service is pretty fast even when there's a few people in line. Was very happy to find out Sunright was opening in Milpitas! I've tried it in socal and the one in sunnyvale and usually it's pretty good. PARKING - there should be a decent amount of easy parking as it's in a smaller strip mall. ORDERING - I ordered online for pick up, it says 10-15 minutes but was ready in 5 minutes, no issues picking up and ordering. FOOD - I got the Roasted Oolong with Boba. Their roasted oolong is more similar to Feng Cha, not like the roasted oolong at Teaspoon. I can't quite explain it but it has a more milk looking color and the flavor is a bit different. now that I think about it, I wonder if it's because they use different sugar...I think they use cane sugar because on the website you can change it to honey. I get 75% sweetness and it's a good amount for me since their tea is a little strong so it might be bitter w/o that sweetness. They have boba and honey boba, boba is more of the traditional black, large boba with a brown sugar flavor. The honey boba is a very light brown color and I haven't had it but I like the boba. It's chewy and still bouncy/soft but better than the ones I had in Sunnyvale! Overall, a solid choice and lots of options for everyone that wants to order. read more

Woohoo! Sunright Tea Studio in Milpitas! A welcomed addition in the same plaza as RawASF. I was pleasantly surprised to see Sunright Tea Studio had built a third location in Northern California. There is still a tad bit of construction at the storefront but there is still plenty of parking in the plaza. The first thing you notice is how bright and spacious the interior is. Much more spacious than the Sunnyvale location. There are two self ordering kiosks on the wall and you can pick up your drinks when they're ready. You can also order ahead on Toast to skip the wait. On a Saturday evening, I was pleasantly surprised to see only one other party as I'm familiar with having to wait up to 30 minutes at Sunnyvale. I noticed one of my drinks did not have honey boba and the employees there were quick to fix it. They offered me to keep the drink without the honey boba (bonus!) and quickly remade my drink. I appreciated the customer service and friendliness of the staff. I got the taro milk tea with honey boba. I like the freshness of the taro paste and also love the richness of their tea flavor here. Boba has always been perfectly cooked at every location I've been to and this was no different. Overall, I am thrilled (although my wallet might not be) to have this location nearby. I no longer have to drive all the way to Sunnyvale to get my Sunright fix! I'll most definitely be back! read more

Again, I feel so blessed to have all these great food chains in my hometown. Before coming here, my favorite boba spot was Teasociety, but after trying my go to Jasmine Milk Tea from Sunright, they have been knocked out from #1 favorite boba spot. I've tried their matcha milk tea as well, and I liked it, just not as much as the Jasmine. They use real tea, so it's very flavorful and clean tasting. I highly recommend stopping by to try out their drinks. In terms of hanging out here, there's a small area to sit, but it's more of a to go your drinks and have it somewhere else because there's no tables or indivual chairs to use. read more

Waited a few mins, they can text you and let you know your order number. Got the drinks but they added milk to one of the drinks that was only tea so they remade the 3rd drink. Staff was friendly. Ordered 2 strawberry frosties (wish they were icier I'll ask them next time) Jasmine tea with boba Would come back again! It seems less busy than the one in Sunnyvale. We got our usual orders that we usually get at the Sunnyvale location: frostie taro and white peach oolong tea. It seems like it is not consistent with the Sunnyvale location in terms of sweetness and tea and taro flavor. At Sunnyvale I ordered probably at least 20 times since they have opened and they are always always consistent with their drinks! My taro frostie tastes watered down..and my husband's tea had no tea flavor much. Yes we both got it at 75% sweet but even then at Sunnyvale it was just the right hint of everything. Oh well... disappointed but wanted to give this place a try. I'm not sure yet if I will give this Milpitas location another try .... Heard it was not busy at all when they opened. Wow the way this place just made me fall in love with milk tea again. There are sooo many boba places in the area but I actually wasn't into boba for awhile bc there was nothing that really impressed me. Until this place. Tried it for the first time and couldn't stop raving about it to everyone. I don't know what else to say that hasn't been said, all I know is that this place just does it so well. The drinks I always have to get when I go: Hokkaido Milk Tea with Mochi (100% sweet less ice) Pudding milk tea (100% sweet less ice) I'm also a fan of their hot jasmine milk tea. The only negative that I can think of is that sometimes their drinks don't seal properly so surprise surprise when I go shake it, there's a mess lol.
