Used to go there a couple times a month. We stopped going at all because the food and service has gone down hill the last few years. Last time I was there ordered veal parm. What I got was deep fried veal with too much breading. It was bullet proof to say the least, the sauce was so so. The service was abysmal server only showed up one time after we started eating. then had to hunt her down to get our check. She was sitting with some friends in another room! there are too many places in and around Warren to get better food, faster and better service. Took us 50 minutes to get our order.... we frequent there At least once a week and every time we sit in the back room we wait forever for our food.... there were only 2 waitresses for the room and both were going to tables Explaining why the food was taking so long... one table Their food got burnt in the kitchen, another they only Put in part of the order!! But at our table the food was ordered wrong we ordered a number 14 burger and git a number 4, and when it was brought out (after the Very long wait) they waitress response was, why don't You try and eat this.... wrong response if you ever want My money again!!!!! Plus another one at our table didn't even get their food until we were all almost done!!!! Told us they needed to make sure it was cooked good!!!!! I love the food at Sunrise, however, their customer service is awful. I work in a Doctors office in Warren and sometimes we have pharmaceutical reps bring us lunch. One day recently, we decided to order from Sunrise. I called to place the order and when the phone was answered I said that I would like to place an order for delivery. I was then told "you're going to have to wait a minute, I have 3 ovens going". That gave me the impression that I was more of a bother rather than someone that was going to patronize their business. When the gentleman came back to the phone he very rudely said "well what time do you want this by"? I said If it is possible I would like to have it delivered by 11:30 am. (I was calling to place the order before 10 am so I didn't think this would be an issue). He responded with, "I don't know what to tell you but that is just not possible, I have another delivery order to be delivered at 11:45 am and as I said to you earlier I have 3 ovens going". (What it means to me that he has 3 ovens going I will never know). His customer service was horrible. Not quite sure why every one raves about this place in Warren. The gentleman on the phone never gave his name, but he was extremely rude and treated me as if I was inconveniencing him by calling to place an order for FOOD, which last time I checked, is what pays the employees and their bills. You are in a business to serve people, and keep people happy so that they keep coming back. Unfortunately, the staff of the doctors I work for will not be ordering Sunrise for lunch ever again. This is one of two places that anyone who has moved from Warren has to stop in to when they come back. Great pizza for adults. This isn't garbage pizza from a national chain. Food isn't that great an its over priced and there's a ton of health violations (mold). Some employees are very unprofessional (don't follow proper hand washing or glove changing after touching raw meat, cross contamination, aren't trained properly). One of guys there straight said he doesn't care if a newborn baby an the mother starve to death. I'd rather drive a farther distance to get better food and better people, he was extremely rude. Me and my girlfriend went to Sunrise for the first time and we absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was very delightful and down to earth. The service was very friendly and was always around to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The food was themed off of events happening downtown which was creative on their part. We had two of the burgers and they were unlike anything we'd had before. They were absolutely delicious! Plenty of food for the money, and it wasn't over priced by any means. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Warren area who is looking for a casual meal that is sure to fill you up! read more

Had a birthday party there, about 30 people, my moms 85th birthday dinner. well it was the worst experience I/we have ever had at Sunrise, our waitress was the worst, we had to ask her for items we needed and she would continue to forget and we had to ask numerous times before finally getting our item, then the orders came out at different intervals and they were cold meals some of us were done eating before others even got their meals, then she added gratuity to everyones bill and she did not deserve a dime. I have been going to Sunrise Inn forever. In the past few years there has been a general decline in service and increase in prices. My last order, called in on 1/3/14 was incomplete when I got it home. I called and asked for a refund and they promised to debit my card. They could not explain what the problem was but they were aware they had shorted me. To date I have still not received a refund. They are idiots and I'm done. Stuff you pizza read more

Came into town for a concert. Reviewed restaurants in the town area. Menu looked good so we tried it. It was really good. Has a bar, take out pizza or dine in, and a large menu to choose from. Now the good part, food was ordered, came out quickly, hot and very tasty. Couldn't eat it all, took the best with us. Its satisfying to find a establishment that serves good food, is quiet, even though the bar is right there, but the people here are nice. Tonight we spent over $40.00 for two medium pizzas and 20 wings at Howland Sunrise Express. I have grown up considering Sunrise old world Pizza as my favorite. Tonight I was disappointed a third time and realize why we order from Howland Pizza Works more often. Three strikes and they are out! The crust on both pizzas was hard and dry, even more so on my ex-beloved Old World style. I had to throw away my hard Pizza because it was unchewable. The wings had minimal sauce with some them not having any sauce thrown on them. I did call Zachary, the manager, and expressed my disappointment. I suggest from the other fair reviews you do the same. Howland Sunrise Express is giving the Sunrise a bad reputation. I found out the downtown Sunrise shares a different owner. My suggestion would be that they get together and bring back the good Pizza to Howland that it used to be! And also, to not over cook the pies! read more

I want to start off by saying that I love Sunrise restaurant in Warren, I've never had a bad experience or meal there. But the Sunrise Inn Express in Howland is terrible. I decided to give them another chance after ordering wings and pizza from there a while back and getting cold pizza and "garlic" wings that tasted like they had just thrown Italian dressing on them. We had tried the Sun inn in Austintown and their food is delicious, best wings I've had in a long time. So we decided to try the Sunrise Inn Express having given them plenty of time to improve themselves. We ordered their general tso's, and butter garlic wings, cheese sticks, and onion rings. When we arrived and went in to pick them up they informed us that they didn't have our cheese sticks, that they had none there and didn't bother to call and see if we would like to replace them with something else. The onion rings were cold, and we did not receive out carrots and ranch. When we went to eat our wings, they were ok, but were not completely covered in sauce. I was very disappointed in our experience, and I will not be buying anything from this location again. read more

not the place for wings or fries. good service. ordered wings, mistake, this is a pizza place. wings were not crisp and barely above room temperature. fries came a couple minutes after wings. don't know why they took longer. they where not hot an could have used a minute or two more in the fryer. i think i got the wrong sauce or they do not put garlic in their hot garlic sauce read more
