This is our 2nd time enjoying dinner at Sunrise...well worth the trip from Poland!! Such great service and food! Tonight we enjoyed the Calamari with the Thai Sauce as an appetizer. For dinner (there were 3 of us) we ordered the humongous veal parmasean with pasta, the Chicken and Greens "kicked up" pasta and the Fish Sandwich with fries. Portions are huge! Service was friendly! As classic as it gets. If you are in Warren, you have to have a meal at Sunrise Inn. There are so many choices on the menu, but I always go pack to Eggplant Parmesan and am never disappointed. Sunrise Inn is another Warren Ohio must. Their brier hill pizza is famous and is another thing that Warrenites crave when they leave the area. As of recent days Sunrise modifies it's burger menu to the entertainment coming to the local area. If they have it on the menu a bowl of their potato soup is excellent. read more

Not for breakfast. With a name like Sunrise, I assumed b'fast was a strength. Perhaps breakfast isn't a strength. Service appeared understaffed. Breakfast options fairly meager. Great pizza, wings, and MASSIVE specialty burgers that are very creative! The only reason for a 4* rating is the seating is a little wonky. We never know which partitions will be closed or open or if we should seat ourselves or wait for someone. That and they serve cans of soda...just an annoyance...nothing more. read more

I love Sunrise pizza, so this is a really nice way to get some in a "hurry". Of course, it's not super speedy like the "express" would incline you to believe, but it's closer and easier than going to the Sunrise Inn. That said, I much prefer going to Sunrise Inn and taking in the whole experience, but sometimes you just want some Sunrise pizza and this place makes it easier. When I came to pick up my pizza, it was ready and even though the staff all seemed to be on different pages about what was happening at the moment, they quickly took care of my order and got me out of there, which was nice because it was super hot and stuffy and I felt a little greasy upon leaving. But, it IS just a kitchen and counter, so you're basically walking into the oven. As far as the pizza goes, it's Sunrise pizza. It smells funny, has loads of parmesan on top, is best ordered with pepperoni and has great thick and crunchy crust. read more

What a wonderful place! It was packed with locals when we were there. It's a bit of a diner mixed with an Italian-American (red sauce) restaurant. We had wedding soup and greens-and-beans soup, both of which were very tasty. For our meal, we had distinctive and yummy sandwiches. I had the Parmesan Punisher, which had three parmesans (veal, chicken, and eggplant) sandwiched between toasty herbed breads along with cheese and sweet roasted red peppers. The sandwich is hearty without being absurd b/c the parms are all pounded thin. My wife got the Meatball Splash, which featured meatballs sandwiched between two pieces of pizza, then covered with sauce. There are many more traditional menu items (lasagna, pizza, the individual parms, etc.) but these novel presentations really caught our attention. This is not a place where everything is excessive, or where all the sandwiches have novelty titles. It's just good, quality food presented by kind servers in a nice neighborhood environment. read more

Hands down my favorite Brier Hill style pizza (of course they call it old world here). It's just perfect. I eat it just about daily when I visit home. Now that I live in Texas, it's so easy to recognize the Northeast Ohio treasures that I took for granted growing up. And, Sunrise pizza is one of them. We have been eating Sunrise Pizza for 45 years. The Howland Express location is completely inconsistent. Dough is raised think one time and flat the next. Sauce is never the same, their pizza is dry as a bone sometimes, almost inedible. Nowhere near the quality of the downtown Warren location. Good food, and many locals. Only negative I can say is it gets a little noisey at times. The pizza is the best in Trumbull county, especially the Greek pizza and vegetable pizzas. The garlic chicken is the best in the area, if you ask me. Always moist and flavorful. Great jojo style potatoes, as well. The Monterrey Chicken Pizza is one of my favorites. I can't recall ever trying the pasta, or the normal pizza, so I can't vouch for those items. read more

I always go to the Sunrise Inn with my grandfather and have been going there since I was six. The staff is always kind and generous, plus the entire inn looks amazing as well. I always loved this place and they have amazing food, especially their burgurs you can get there. I definitely recommend anyone going to this place. read more

Usually love the food and staff, but today service and staff well below sub par. Started off ordering wings and wife ordered a salad. Food came out, her salad was fine. Not sure if the sauce for wings changed but the cajun sauce tasted like they dumped a gallon of mild sauce in it. To add insult to injury waited nearly ten minutes before I got tired of waiting for our waitress Kaitlyn to come back. So I got the bus boy to take them back. 2 minutes later she comes out and tells me the sauce is premixed. So I asked for two dishes of sauce because I couldn't taste any garlic even though she confrontationally told she watched them put it in. So she dropped the sauce off and left with out refilling our drinks and never came back. 20 minutes passed my wife had finished her meal and I pushed mine aside, and she never returned. We waited 10 minutes after finishing and went up to the hostess desk to get our own check and cash out. Worst service there ever. Dont think we will be going back there again which is ashame. read more

This time they ran out of sub bread, the fries were completely mushy (practically sitting in water) and the chicken was pretty old. Plus the place was pretty dirty. We needed a reservation for 25 with only hours notice. They were happy to accommodate such a large group last minute. They sat us in a large back area with plenty of room. Hot fresh pizza and great apps were served shortly after we arrived. Greens and Calamari were a hit. read more

We went here last night because we heard good things about it. I was very unimpressed. We walked in before 9:30 (they closed @ 10) and they were very annoyed that we showed up. It's not my first time stopping here but this time I Stopped in for lunch, got a Rubin and French fries for st Patrick's day! Its was delicious .
