I am writing this review to detail my profoundly negative experience with the administration of Sunrise Respiratory Care. Three years ago, after a car accident left me a paraplegic, my healthcare agency recommended this company to me for my durable medical needs. My long-term experience with them has been a significant source of frustration and disappointment. While they initially provided a hospital bed and trapeze, they consistently missed opportunities to consolidate my medical supply needs, leaving me to juggle multiple different providers for my BiPAP, urological, and other supplies. This fragmented process was inefficient and difficult to manage. The equipment they provided was also inadequate. The wireless Hoyer lift was not fit for purpose, and after months of trying to make it work, I returned it. They refused to assist me in getting a more appropriate lift to meet my physical needs, demonstrating a complete lack of concern for my safety and well-being. The quality of their equipment and service declined further over time: Approximately 15 months after receiving the hospital bed, a weld on one of the side rails broke. After repeated attempts to contact the company, I was eventually told it was not their responsibility. I had to purchase a replacement rail myself for $89 to ensure my safety. 17 months after receiving the bed, one of the motors failed. After a drawn-out and difficult process involving repeated phone calls, they finally replaced the bed. However, they intentionally removed one of the side rails, seemingly in an act of petty retaliation. Most recently, about a month ago, I called to request a technician to help me move the hospital bed to my master bedroom. I was explicitly willing to pay for this service. I was met with extreme rudeness from staff who told me it was no longer the company's problem. The unprofessionalism extended to my attempts to contact management. For three weeks, I tried calling to speak with the owner about these issues and the opportunity to earn my business for all my medical supplies. Multiple staff members were rude, condescending, and deliberately blocked my messages from reaching management. Based on my experience, Sunrise Respiratory Care has shown a shocking disregard for customer safety and basic customer service. They missed a significant opportunity to earn a long-term, loyal customer due to a pattern of incompetence and an utter lack of respect. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company to anyone." read more

Stop billing me for equipment that they promised me would be free! Initially they billed me for $3,200! Then they pulled back and billed me for $300+.a month. And then they started billing me for $567 a monh. And now they're billing me $44 a month for my CPAP machine which I told would be free after I used it for 4 hours a day for 30 consecutive days (an obligation which I fulfilled). After speaking a few minutes with the company, she said I sounded in distress about what was needed. Then the representative said that she was going to have it delivered. so Lisa was helpful and Erik delivered a bipap. We were learning to use this machine. However the mask they included was a medium n my husband is a large man. So for weeks when air gets around the masks the machine beeps. We were up all night fixing a mask on the face of my husband that was too small.
