It's a completely newly owned business now, and I'm so pleased to find that the owner is just as friendly, helpful and transparent as the previous owner. When checking in and during work, both the owner Isaiah and his partner Mark are very friendly and courteous answering questions with smiles. I just had the best experience with Sunset Auto. I was out driving when someone told me my tire was flat. I called around to see if any gas stations or tire stores could take a look at it, but it was 5:00 p.m. on a Friday and no one was available. I called Sunset Auto and Isaiah said to come on over. As soon as I arrived, he pulled a nail out of my tire and patched it - all that was needed. When I tried to pay him, he said there was no charge. Day 1: 4:00 PM, I have a slow leak in my rear tire. I am new, could you guys take a look where I think a nail is and let me know if you can repair it? "Sure, can you come back first thing tomorrow?" Absolutely, be there at 8:45. Day 2: 8:45 AM, I drive in, ask to fix the tire. "Give me your keys, do you want to wait?" Sure I live close by so I'll come back. In a half hour car is done, sitting, waiting for me. Ahhh, how much? (less than an average lunch tip). Are you kidding me? "No." My past, lifelong go-to car repair place, a friend of many many years, now somewhat removed from day-to-day, focused on the high profit tire sales, yet again wouldn't repair the tires they put on, "Oh, you need two new tires". Quote to repair, $1,250.56 special for me, long time customer. What else do I need to say. $1,250.56 vs 2 orders of magnitude less. What a revelation. Sunset Auto Care, doesn't know me from Adam. They have richly earned the trust, gratitude and my deep appreciation for their huge friendly smiles first, then the incredible sense of honesty, evidence of huge integrity, and last in that order, their pricing that is the Hallmark of the best in what any customer could possibly ask for... total peace of mind. This is an excellent autoshop that offers top-quality services at great prices. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, which made my experience here very pleasant and stress free. I brought my car here after noticing a loud sound while I was driving. I explained the problem to Isaiah and he quickly offered to do a free inspection. After completing the inspection, he showed me pictures and thoroughly explained the issue and what needed to be done to fix it. Turns out it was a problem with my brakes.
