I just had the best experience with Sunset Auto. I was out driving when someone told me my tire was flat. I called around to see if any gas stations or tire stores could take a look at it, but it was 5:00 p.m. on a Friday and no one was available. I called Sunset Auto and Isaiah said to come on over. As soon as I arrived, he pulled a nail out of my tire and patched it - all that was needed. When I tried to pay him, he said there was no charge. Day 1: 4:00 PM, I have a slow leak in my rear tire. I am new, could you guys take a look where I think a nail is and let me know if you can repair it? "Sure, can you come back first thing tomorrow?" Absolutely, be there at 8:45. Day 2: 8:45 AM, I drive in, ask to fix the tire. "Give me your keys, do you want to wait?" Sure I live close by so I'll come back. In a half hour car is done, sitting, waiting for me. Ahhh, how much? (less than an average lunch tip). Are you kidding me? "No." My past, lifelong go-to car repair place, a friend of many many years, now somewhat removed from day-to-day, focused on the high profit tire sales, yet again wouldn't repair the tires they put on, "Oh, you need two new tires". Quote to repair, $1,250.56 special for me, long time customer. What else do I need to say. $1,250.56 vs 2 orders of magnitude less. What a revelation. Sunset Auto Care, doesn't know me from Adam. I brought my car here after noticing a loud sound while I was driving. I explained the problem to Isaiah and he quickly offered to do a free inspection.
