The food was very tasty! The location is kinda weird because its inside Echo Park eatery where several restaurants exists. It also doesn't look like a restaurant at all so that was a bit confusing. You basically come in through the back where the parking lot is. There's a small spot right at corner closest to street and you place an order on a screen by choosing restaurant you are ordering from. Once you do, you wait for a short time and will be notify when your order is ready with a code you push so that lockers inside place assigned to your order opens. Place is small and there is someone who can help you but not really visible behind counter. Anyway, new experiences! Check them out! read more

I love lemongrass bahn mi and the lemongrass shrimp bahn mi from Sunset bahn mi didn't disappoint!!! The baguette is huge and fresh. The carrot and jicama were plentiful. The shrimp was small but generous amount and very flavorful. The pad Thai had so much jumbo shrimp it's definitely more than one serving. The noodles held on the road because they're on the thicker side. As for the drinks they come in a 32 ounce Tupperware which is so generous of them. Best Banh mi I've had in a loooong time. Absolutely perfect, down to the bread, the veg, and the beef (in my case).

Such flavorful Banh mi! The lemongrass really comes through and they use quality meat that isn't too fatty. Also the veggies aren't overly wet which makes them taste fresher and keeps the bread from getting too soggy. The spring rolls are also great., nicely balanced. The only thing is I wish they would chop the jalapeños instead of just slicing lengthwise and putting on top. It would make them easier to incorporate. But that is such a minor issue. read more

The beef bánh mì satisfied my craving but it didn't wow me, the bread and meat quality was great but it was so overloaded with garden and picked carrots that you lost the flavor unless you took some of it out. The egg rolls were packed but didn't have a good crunch. They do offer large Thai teas, which i love. The portion sizes are great but the spot is pretty average. Our order was for delivery. We were craving sandwiches and gave this place a try. Our order - Beef steak bahn mi, tofu bahn mi and shrimp fried rice. The bahn mi(s) were OK. The break was really good, the fresh jalapenos added a nice flavor and each sandwich was a good size. Tofu can be tricky to work with. It can either be a sponge for flavor or bland af. The tofu in my sandwich was tough and lacking. Most of the flavor came from the pickled carrots, jalapenos and cucumber. The shrimp fried rice was OK. The first few bites were delicious but then that went away as we kept eating. We added soy sauce thinking it might help but it didn't.
