In celebration of warmer weather, I decided to stop in their store and order in person. The staff was slower than usual. I waited a good 10 min on line before I was acknowledged even though there were only two patrons ahead of me. Ended up waiting another 10 min for a toasted bagel and cream cheese. Let's just say that it wasn't the wait that caused for their star penalties. As soon as I step foot in the storefront up until the second I left, the staff was still having loud obnoxious personal conversations and complaining about anything imaginable. I'm sure they have bad days, but that was just unprofessional, and I hate when my weekend mornings are affected by little things like this. Nevertheless, the obvious reason for the slower than average service. The only thing I have had from this place are their breakfast sandwiches. Their Sandwich quality is really good. I had a bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel and although it took a while to prepare, it was freaking delicious. I like that they have good crispy bacon....other places give you fatty barely coked bacon. All in all, this is now my new breakfast spot. Whats up with all the excitement about Sunset Bagels? I was going to give it one star, but I decided to give it two, since they actually have some half-way decent food. The bacon egg and cheese bagel is good. The pancakes aren't bad. Some of their sandwiches are good too. Here is my problem: The place is always packed, sometimes you have to wait a while after you make an order. The prices are too high. I understand that there aren't many 24 hour places in the area, so I guess its their right to have slightly high prices, but the truth is, you can get a breakfast sandwich at about half the price at a lot of nearby delis. Sunset Bagels is amazing. Their bagels are the best and it helps that it's the only place in the area for the variety of food they serve. That being said, everything is delicious. I usually go for breakfast items, especially egg and cheese bagel sandwiches, but their wraps, sandwiches, and salads are great too. My only complaint would be that the service is very slow, as many other reviewers said as well. It's worth it though. Don't order from sunset bagels. I think whether or not you are able to get your food ordered and delivered depends on who answers the phone, the weather or some unforeseen circumstance. Tried to order on the phone and after being on hold for at least 10 minutes was hung up on three times and after finally putting my order in was called back after 3 hrs and told that we would not be able to get our order filled, because they require a 24 hour notice. I have ordered from this establishment several times before and have never been told about a 24 hour notice. Our order was for the next morning and we could've ordered somewhere else. Apparently they were short staffed and stated the person that wraps the food was not available. I just want to express my disappointment with this place that I have been going to for years. I ordered a bagel toasted with cc and a Belgium waffle. My order took 35 minutes to make. By the time we got our food the waffle was lukewarm and the bagel was cold and NOT toasted. After waiting patiently for a simple order I was extremely disappointed. I walked up to the woman behind the counter asked if my bagel was toasted and she said "did you want it toasted?" And then threw it in the microwave. I have been here 3 times and TWICE they have messed up my order. The first time, I got one whole wheat and one normal everything bagel, when I really wanted 2 whole wheat. Whatever, mistakes happen. However, the next time I went in, I ordered 2 bagels again. They gave me one incorrect bagel (I ordered onion, they gave me everything) and the other was burnt to a crisp. It was gross and inedible. Really a bad experience, never going to order from them again. They try to overcharge me. Place a order with them on seamless.The seamless invoice shows that my order total is only $17.69, but the delivery guy came with their store invoice and want to charge me $20+. If there's any price change, you have to inform your customer first, not just show up after 1 hour and tell you customer take it or not. read more

Once the delivery guy came, I gave him the cash for the order and he took it. I later realized that I had paid twice and called the manager often as well as left voicemails. The food order was not fully delivered as only half my order came delivered. This has happened on multiple occasions where Sunset Bagels makes minor mistakes because they are "too busy" to get fully accurate. Their motto is if we at least get half of your order correct then we're good. Also they blame the seamless app wayy to much and hide behind that. They are an establishment that does not care about customer service because they figure they have a whole customer loyalty in the 1,000 ratings so they figure they will be ok. Seriously this place cares nothing about even trying to resolve an error. When I was told my error was due to Seamless I called seamless and was on hold and they said "they are too busy to try and resolve the error".
