I brought in a pink suit jacket and matching pants that I wanted altered for a more modern look. I wanted the pants tapered and shortened to an ankle length, and I was very specific about the style I was trying to achieve. In the past, I've had alterations done where the hems weren't crisp or too much fabric was removed, leaving the garment looking obviously altered. This experience was completely different. My instructions were dry clean only because a few of my other choir members robes faded because they were washed . The first time the lady only put the solution on the neck and they didn't complete the rest. I was not charged and was told to bring it back. My instructions were dry clean only because the material fades . Well they washed my robe in the white is faded pink most especially the velcro . The man that I spoke with on the phone said bring it back and we will fix it . Those were his words I picked my robe up today and the robe is still pink . The lady that was called made it seem like I was a liar and that she told me that he could fade Which is far from the truth . I could have taken it to the cleaners that I normally go to which has never faded my robe . Now I'm out over $500 because I'm going to have to purchase another road to replace this one . No one wants to be embarrassed by wearing an inferior garment when they are going to praise God . Just think of how bad it's going to look my role being faded and pink where it should be white and everybody else being pristine and pure white . There was no apology I was charged $30 and I only paid it because I still need the robe until I can afford to buy a new one . I ask for the manager's (and owner I think) name and number, Terrence, and was told that he does not give out his number but he would call me back. A full week has passed and NO one has yet to call me. I also was asked to Cashapp the payment for the services, which was a bit weird. Most businesses will accept credit cards. I do plan to pickup my comforter today and hope there is no additional damage! But save yourself the frustration and find another dry cleaners.

The stain had never been removed, so he asked American Dry Cleaners if they could try. Not only were they willing to take it on, but they were incredibly kind and kept him updated by calling to let him know they successfully removed the stain. That suit saved the night.
