As we pulled up to park, the parking…read moreattendant started placing cones to block off all the spots at the strip mall for valet parking. Luckily it was easy to find street parking nearby. It's a very cute and cozy coffee shop and there was no line when we arrived. The menu had a huge selection of different coffee and tea drinks and also a seasonal menu. The staff were very kind and patient and swiftly prepared the Vienna Latte and Hojicha Latte we ordered. The Vienna Latte is so visually stunning, the layers of white milk, brown espresso, thick white cream, brown cocoa powder and Biscoff layered on top of each other against the dark green logo was so aesthetic. Having a sip before mixing the Vienna latter was incredible, the sweet cream followed with the nutty strong espresso flavour then getting a refreshing splash of milk made a great combo with the Biscoff. I actually liked the drink less after its all mixed because it was too creamy for my taste. (I normally like my coffee black) My hojicha latte was great, but it was also too milky for me. So I went up and asked if it would taste good dirty, with an espresso shot in it, and the barista said yes. I ordered an espresso shot and instead of charging me full price, they only charged me the add on espresso shot for the drink! ($1.50 instead of $4) It was very kind of them since it was absolutely my mistake for not ordering the right drink in the first place. The shot added much depth and flavour to the hojicha latte I was craving. Thanks for the wonderful service. I'm definitely coming back to try their other specialty drinks.

And they are so sweet and do not rush anyone, you can stay here as long as you want. My friends and I WFH so we decided to Work From MemoryLook (WFML) one day together. I'm glad we did! Great pastries in the morning, i had the cremme brûlée donut which had tons of filling, and the pea foam matcha latte which was fantastic. And I had an EXCELLENT chicken Chipotle wrap at lunch that was recommended to me by the gentleman working at memory look. I'm not certain where these wraps are made. Another gentleman would bring them from the building in the same complex. I LOVED my wrap. They have a ton of seating outside too but there aren't any outlets out there so it's harder to WFH out there unless you're fully charged. But was great for separate meetings we all had to attend. The photobooth was fun but we were so thrown off by it taking 8 photos, we had no idea how many poses we would have to come up with hahaha. I would definitely come back here anytime!

4.5/5 Definitely one of my top 10 matcha spots in LA!…read more I've tried both the Matcha Duo and Ube Matcha and the cream here is SO SO SO good. Any of their cream tops are honestly perfection and probably what makes the drink for me. The matcha itself is rich, creamy, and really smooth. I wouldn't necessarily say it's super strong, but it's definitely not weak either. It doesn't have as much of that bitter/earthy matcha taste. The drinks do lean on the sweeter side, which is kind of a dilemma for me because the cream is SO good, but it also takes away from the matcha a little. I love the cream and wouldn't want less of it, but I do wish the matcha came through a bit more. Additionally, the cup is pretty small And getting matcha here is honestly a whole DEDICATED JOURNEY. Parking, waiting in line, waiting for your drink... you have to really want that matcha. But I would 100% come back. Despite the journey and the small cup, Rōk is still easily one of my favorite matcha spots in LA.

[Parking]: The coffee shop has a free designated parking lot which I actually appreciate since parking is not easy to come by in this part of the neighborhood. [Amenities & atmosphere]: The restroom is located just outside the entrance and no code is needed. The cafe has a modern and sleek interior which makes this spot an ideal 1st date spot. There is a section where the cafe has various albums hanging on the wall. [Menu]: Some of the highlighted items to order here are Mason Latte, Hojicha Latte, and Brisket Burrito. Kitchen items are served from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. *** Steak Breakfast Burrito (24-hour marinated steak, crispy tots, cheddar, pico de gallo, scrambled eggs, avocado, homemade aioli, served with housemade green aji or red salsa - $21.00): I was given a buzzer only to realize it was for the food order and not the drink. The green sauce was very vinegary with a slightly spicy kick. The burrito itself was not bad as it had all the right ingredients. It took about 10 minutes for the kitchen to prepare this order. Mason Latte (Double shot Espresso, whole milk, homemade brown butter caramel, sea salt - iced $7.75): This drink had to be mixed and shaken first. A solid latte and not too sweet. The flavor was a tad light, but not bad. *** While no food or drink in particular made this place stand out among all other amazing coffee shops in Los Angeles, this is still a solid all-around coffee shop in my book. A big thumbs up on good interior vibe and easy parking.

BUT what I've been absolutely obsessed with lately is their Jasmine Matcha. I constantly find myself coming back specifically for this drink. The balance between the jasmine and matcha is PERFECT. You get that floral, fragrant jasmine flavor while still being able to distinctly taste the matcha, and neither one overpowers the other. Parking is also surprisingly easy for LA! I've usually been able to find street parking nearby, so I personally wouldn't bother spending the extra money on valet. I will say this probably isn't the best place if you're looking for somewhere quiet to study. There are constantly people coming in and out and it can get pretty noisy and busy inside. I'd come here more to grab a drink and catch up with someone than to lock in for a study session. The Double Matcha may be the classic, but the Jasmine Matcha is what keeps me coming back. If you're a jasmine matcha person, GET THIS ONE!!
