My husband and I come out to Niagara Falls at least once a year, and this trip is the first time we've tried the Sunshine Cafe. Once we came the first day, we had to come back the next morning as well. Lisa and her staff were wonderful! They treat you like a local even if you've never been there before. On the second day my husband ordered the Large Chicken Taco (which could be better described as huge or gigantic), and he absolutely loved it! Great prices, super friendly staff, and truly excellent food. The Sunshine Cafe is definitely our new favorite place to go when we visit the area, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone coming to town looking for a good breakfast or lunch. read more

I was in Niagra Falls for a wedding and took a leap of faith on this cafe with all of the groomsmen the morning of "The big day". Lisa is the owner and personally waited on us AND cooked our food. The special was an egg white , spinach, and feta scramble with hash browns and it was amazing! All 8 of us loved the special and highly recommend this place. I recently moved to the NF are and I'm a big fan of home cooked food, especially breakfast! I discovered Sunshine cafe and I'm so glad I did. The services was excellent and the food was awesome. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they took their time to engage in conversation and get to know us. Granted, we were the only people in there because we went an hour or so before close but the food was all made fresh and the hospitality was great! Stopping at the Sunshine cafe was an unexpected treat on our summer vacation. After leaving our hotel at the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, we decided to get breakfast somewhere with a local-feel instead of a Denny's or IHOP to make the road-trip more memorable. After searching Yelp and reading the raving reviews of this place, we made our way to the cute little restaurant called the Sunshine Cafe. The kids loved the cheerful exterior and my husband and I appreciated the homey-feel of the interior. Although we have a somewhat large family and it was fairly packed inside, they made room for us and right away treated us like special guests. The owner was our waitress that day and went out of her way to make us feel like part of the close-knit atmosphere that radiated throughout the small cafe. While we were there other customers stopped in, apparently after just returning from their honeymoon, and brought souvenirs that were immediately hung on the walls by the cook. After a delicious and inexpensive breakfast, the owner/waitress even gave the kids candy and free extra treats to enjoy for the remainder of the road trip. The combination of the great food, excellent service, quaint atmosphere and the overall friendliness of the place left us immediately agreeing that anytime we passed that way again, we will always make a point to stop at the Sunshine Cafe. read more
