I went back in to get an itemized receipt and ask for a refund for at least the one filling so I could get it redone somewhere else because I didn't feel comfortable with the him. He was so unprofessional and told me the receptionist was out and nobody else in the whole building could print me a receipt. Then he kept insisting he would "never give me a refund because it's illegal" and that he has to redo it nobody else. Practically put me to tears because he used all my insurance and I have to pay out of pocket now. He was very condescending and completely out of line. Worst dentist in the pnw.

I have difficult teeth, a multitude of complicated health issues, and a long history of bad dental experiences, coupled with tens of thousands of dollars wasted on prior dental work done by crappy dentists and scam artists over my lifetime. Despite all of that baggage, Dr. Arlauskas has never once treated me with anything less than dignity, patience, and genuine care. He has never judged me, never made me feel bad, and has never scolded or shamed me in the way that so many dental providers have done in the past. Dr. A is fun, personable, professional, and unwaveringly consistent. He remembers the human element in every interaction. He always does things the right way while making sure he goes above and beyond the basic standard of care, and is all around a truly kind, present person... I've had a significant amount of work done by him and I've never been disappointed no matter how nitpicky I am. It's difficult to express in words how grateful I am for the kindness he's extended to me. He's changed my life for the better, and I wish I could do more for him aside from writing this review. In the least creepy way possible, I truly love him for the positive impact he's had on my teeth and my life. Teeth can be so emotional... I can admit I'm unnecessarily vain, I have severe anxiety, an extreme panic disorder and OCD plus so many other health issues, etc. But this has never been a barrier with Dr. A. He actually listens, pays attention and wants his patients to be happy, and comfortable. He actually cares. I'm allowed to be a person. It's not just dollar signs and insurance coding. He makes me want to cry happy tears. Dr. Arlauskas is a professional through and through and is a class act. I know that sounds corny, but I genuinely mean it. Realistically, I'm never going to look forward to going to the dentist, but if you're out here in the world looking for a provider that isn't a scam artist or a jerk, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Darius Arlauskas. I went to gentle dental when I had insurance (last year mind you) and they were not thorough at all (I'll review them on their business).
