The prices were also higher than expected and we were required to pay nearly 2000.00, the balance of our order upfront. We could not get information on the delivery until the day before. Our plants were not as ordered and arrived strapped to a flat bed truck after we were assured they would be delivered in a box truck to protect the plants. It was not what we had ordered and the plants were damaged. We have been awaiting a 375.00 refund, which we have not received to date. There is no way I would recommend Plants of Joy.

I found that they stock some pretty uncommon succulents and "indoor" plants, which I appreciate, because I love the rare and variegated varieties! She also mentioned that if I wanted anything that she didn't have, she could have it within a week. With orders, you can pick up, or she will deliver. Although it's preferred that you make an appointment to shop, you are still able to shop without an appointment if they are in the store. The day I shopped, I did not have an appointment. Pre-orders, special orders, and appointments can be made through the Instagram page, because their website is not yet active.

The selection is limited to some cacti and mostly succulents. But they'll have the ones you're looking for and some exotic ones as well. I've never been disappointed and I've always found something new to plant from here. - This is the place to go for succulent arrangements or if you're starting a small succulant garden. I have puchased many plants from Oasis that are thriving in my yard. - The owner's daughters (presuming) are very helpful and seem to be running the retail shop these days.. Some other nurseries don't have anyone to help with questions. - They always have clearance plants up front. Usually they're only tiny succulents but you can't beat .75 to 1.50 each. - Check days and hours of operation before coming. - They do have a stack of plastic tiny plant carriers if you plan on buying a bunch of tiny succulents.

Large selection of roses in late May, early June. It's fun to shop here. Some of the nursery has uneven ground or loose gravel so be mindful. The nursery is clean and organized with plenty of workers to help assist you with picking something out, answering any questions, or helping you load things into the car. This business breathed new life into my opinion of farmers markets- in a world where buying local is now typically more expensive than going to chain grocery stores, the prices here are very modest. I am super happy! He had mini succulent gardens for 3$, hanging plants at 10$ each or 2 for 15. I found a bird nest fern for 15$, including taxes. There is a 50-cent credit card usage fee, and that's certainly reasonable. While I do look forward to shopping at his actual nurseries, I will happily make weekly pilgrimages to the Oceanside Farmer's Market to see what he has to sell.
