Was exhausted after driving 11 + hours while going through quartzsite and needed to crash. My options were turn back to ca and double back 20 min or so. Power through towards phoenix or stay here the only hotel in town. I chose wrong and stayed here. When I arrived first red flag. The young man working the front desk that night seemed genuinely pissed he had to help me with a reservation. Second hotel so old no elevator. Wasn't a big deal for me since only had a small bag but I can see where that could be a real pain. The room itself felt old and dirty. The flooring is new but that's it. Everything else old and dingy. Also shower head was only about 4.5 feet tall it seems so if your tall you are ducking. Speaking of shower there was hair on wall in several places that I noticed once I got into shower. Yuck The breakfast consisted of a pancake machine(cool) and corn flakes. OK, so please keep in mind, this is a motel. It serves a purpose, as a good pit stop. The room was clean, linens were clean, we felt safe. The motel obviously leaves a little more to be desired. Our toilet paper roll was broken. You could only sign onto the Wi-Fi when you stood next to the front door. We were in the back of the hotel mind you. I would definitely suggest the owners go through room by room fixing little things like the things mentioned above. They should test everything, for instance the USB charging port didn't work in the lamp! It was quiet that was a plus, like I said we were in the back! We also had lovely view of bunch of old desks and cardboard boxes. Can you say 1-800-Got-Junk? But mostly it was the employees. They were very helpful and kind. Definitely want to give a shout out to Amrit, the front desk employee. He was very helpful, very courteous and very kind. Also, one of the housekeepers offered to help us with our luggage. I am shocked by all of the bad reviews for this place, as I had a great experience. No, it wasn't the Waldorf Astoria, but what are you expecting at a roadside motel in the middle of the AZ desert? C'mon people! I was passing through town and broke down for the night so needed a place to crash. This place was right off the freeway and one of 2 motels in town. I just needed a room for myself, so they got me in, I got to my room and it was actually exceptionally updated. New flooring, comfy bed with 3 pillows, desk, TV, dresser, shower curtain with curved rod, shampoo, soap, shower gel, loation, etc. All of the things plus more that you'd expect from a motel. Yes, it was flanked by the freeway on side and a street on the other, but you know this when you check in so don't act like it is a surprise. There is also no elevator to go upstairs, but let's be honest, if you are staying here it isn't like you are planning on a week long vacation where you need 5 bags. When morning came, they had a breakfast area with coffee, juice, different cereals, muffins and a pancake machine. I was happy with it, as again, this was just a motel, so it was a lot more than what I thought they were going to have. If you are looking for EV charging, bed turndown service, a spa and valet parking then you are in the wrong town all together. If you need a place to stay for the night that is clean, updated, provides breakfast and it conveniently located right off the freeway then this is your place! read more

The facility is tired and I need of major refurbishment starting in the lobby and continuing into the rooms. The facility is just off I-10 and with the cheap quality windows, it is nearly impossible to sleep due to traffic noise. For the price we paid, due to an event in Quartzite, it was a total ripoff. We stayed at Super 8 Quartzsite this last weekend. It was an unexpected stop and we didn't plan on staying. The staff was wonderful. We had car trouble and came in asking if we could use their Wi-Fi because for some reason T-mobile had an outage the same night. They let us use their Wi-Fi and we decided to get a room instead of paying extra for a shop to open. They were very kind, compassionate, caring and accommodating. The room was very clean, quiet and nice. Every staff person we interacted with were awesome. We will probably start making this a normal stop for our longer road trips read more

The room and bathroom were clean if just a bit dated, but clean is always a big plus and parking is easy with wide parking spaces. Continental Breakfast is available with fresh coffee. Bed was atrocious, a mattress that has seen better days, years ago and a box spring that forgot what a box spring is supposed to do. When I turned over I felt like I was falling out of bed.... Heater blows cold air only, luckily it wasn't really needed. Bed had crumbs and hair in it. Lamp outlet is directly behind the bed. The mattress pushes the plug out of it's socket. Lost my reservation. Charged me twice because they denied I had a reservation although I had email confirmation from them. Charged me $75 cash fee for my animal for 3 nights and charged me the same $75 on my card. I was charged twice for the room at $114.00 a night for 3 nights + tax. The staff swore up and down I called experian. I called the number right in front of them and it went directly to them while Im standing there. They still would not accomidate me. All the month of January 2020 there is a gem show somewhere that made the room rates go sky high for this kind of lodging. It cost us $147.00 for a two bed at the top of the stairs, no elevator. There was a small frig, one of those little coffee gizmos, a TV and a telephone. There was NO Kleenex, only one little shampoo and soap. NO grab bars or bathmat for the tub. Towels were not stored neatly at all. The heating/ cooling unit had handle with care instructions or you will pay for breakage. All in all, if you can find another place to stay in the area I recommend you do so. Traveling home to Illinois from California after 6 weeks, due to my grandfather passing last month. After driving many hours from California.. Nothing like a good room for $80.. NOT this place.. We stayed here while attending the rock & gem show in Quartzite. Management is nice. The room was clean. Because of the gem show going on they jacked up the price! We paid $116 per night plus tax. If your room is on the side of the freeway it is a little noisy at night. The TV selection is very poor. There was no microwave in the room. Next time we will stay over in Blythe. read more

Don't stay here !! It was my fault that I trusted my husband to book a hotel room !! We have been traveling at least once a month for a flea market businesses !! This place is way too expensive $ 158 on a Saturday night .. Can you imagine motel 6 basically it's the same quality probably worst .. We need a wifi guess what no wifi !! No AC No heater !! WTH !! The rooms looked like I stepped back into the 90's, the rooms literally looked like they haven't been changed or modified in years. I didn't expect this at all considering the rates. OMG! All we can say is don't waste your money. We apparently offended the management by arriving at 2:10 pm to check in for two days. He had just mopped the lobby, no signs or bucket giving us a clue about that, got scolded for that and greeted with " I guess they didn't tell you the check in is at 3:00 and you just walked on my freshly mopped floor". Upon our return it didn't improve. We had room 109, which was set up for handicap sort of. They had a make shift shower curtain that hung two feet into the tub on a shakey hanger, the shower head was one of those hand showers that was connected at four feet, you couldn't hook it up to stand under so you had to hold it to rinse. The faucet on the sink was so loose you had to be careful when using. The toilet was not secure to the floor so best be careful when sitting and getting off. They had a piece of metal randomly screwed on the bathroom door which we couldn't figure out why. And as you read on other reviews, the TV are out of the 90's yikes. Breakfast was an absolute joke, we ate elsewhere. I can tell you that it won't matter if you complain, as you can read on other reviews Wyndham has "NO" standards that must be met by the management and customer experience is non existent. We went to visit family, but will never stay there again and it tops the list of WORST stay experiences for us. Yikes! Good luck if you chance a stay anyway after reading reviews. We wish we had read reviews first. Oh by the way, we would have changed hotels but we paid in advance , as we were traveling from California, so we knew the chance of getting a refund was not even a remote possibility. read more

HORIBLE!!! Save your money!!! Checked in put us in the furthest room known to man. We had to carry all of our belongings.. (4) days of luggage food etc. dad is partially disabled and they didn't have an elevator nor a downstairs room avail for him!! After finally reaching our room the keys wouldn't work. So we had to hike back to the front desk with all of our belongings. The front desk guy came back up w us after explaining to us he always had problems w the key in this room it takes a special key!! Uuum Ok!!! So he had to go back to the front desk while we again waited. Came back up with a " Master" key which there was only one of!! Here are the reasons : Rooms still have small tube TVS , very limited channels (no NBC) , cheapest toilet paper money can buy in bathroom, no elevator to 2nd and 3rd floors , beds very old and worn out (look like the originals from when they opened), carpet in rooms and hallways also look like never been replaced, they have 1 iron and 1 ironing board for entire hotel to share. read more
