When you live in an area like I do. There are a lot of mom and pop shops. Every time I come here I feel like I am going to my mothers or grandmothers house for food. Their prices are great and the staff is very friendly. They have a wide selection of food from burgers to gyros and Mexican food. Cash and cards accepted and it is located right across the street from the shell gas station on foothill. I've been here plenty of times to get breakfast or dinner, everything I have ordered has always been fresh and delicious. Yes the older couple than own the place can be rude sometimes, but I look at it like this. I'm sure they have been doing this for many many years and are down and out dog tired. I hope when I am this old , which isn't that far around the corner that I'm not that cranky and rude. I can put up with the rudeness and them being short because the food is awesome!!! Both the older lady and I believe her husband have been very nice and kind to me as well. I certainly don't want to be in their position, when I'm that old. Yes I know some people can't put up with the rudeness, but I say just put your Big GIrl Panties on and deal with it for good food. Not many good places up here in sunland- tujunga that are consistent. Good Luck to them and let them Be careful and watch your total amount of your bill, I caught them severely overcharging me twice. My husband goes to Super Charburger at least 3 times a week for breakfast. He loves their huevos rancheros, chicken fried steak and eggs and California scramble. I like the California scramble and their waffles. Great prices, great service and great food. Not sure about all of the complaints regarding service. Everyone there greets my husband by name, asks him how he's doing and knows that no matter what he orders, he will want a side of their salsa. He has never experienced an ounce of rudeness. Maybe fellow negative Yelpers should consider their own attitudes as well. Just a friendly suggestion. read more

They have a ways to go before calling them 5-star but I'm indeed now classified as a fan of this place. I've been coming here since I was 13 and it's always been my go-to spot when I want a quick meal or a grilled cheese sandwich, yummy! The food is always made when and to perfection. I've never had a unpleasant meal. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is simply that the owners are the ones who work the front and they can be quite grumpy at times. I happen to believe they're just elderly grumpy people :). But nonetheless it doesn't stop me from coming here. If you're in the neighborhood I advise you to try it out. There is nothing really impressive about this place. It's a hole in the wall and in need of some upgrades. There are about 7-8 small booths that seat about four per table. No restrooms. Not to mention the extremely RUDE OLD LADY!!! I ordered the Chicken plate with rice and salad. I politely asked for the dressing on the side and she had the nerve to roll her eyes at me!! I couldn't believe how rude she was. Her customer service was horrible and non existent!! I really wish I read the reviews before setting foot in this place! This is my first ever Yelp review, I've never felt compelled until today. I read mixed reviews but because we were almost half way of a long drive home and starving we stopped. Food was pretty good. Only 2 stars because older lady at the counter was extremely rude and impatient. Worst part is we had been on the road for 4 hours and no bathrooms for paying customers. The owner/day cook is the real life "soup nazi". Food is good no doubt but the attitude from the owner is terrible. It would kill him to smile. I was craving chili cheese fries and was pleasantly surprised that they offer small sized fries! so I ordered small chili cheese fries which is perfect for one person. The best double cheeseburger in Los Angeles in my opinion, made the right way by and old Greek guy with pride. Everything is perfectly placed on this burger and tastes delicious, their spread is my favorite it beats all other burger joints', and when I really want to go for it I add bacon. Fries are best eaten piping hot and when they have the right amount of greasey crisp. These burgers symbolize a time before brioche buns, gimmicks, and designer burgers were necessary. Attitude USED to be a problem here years ago with a past employee (young lady in her 20s), they just weren't as personable and you felt sort of rushed to order, but they HAVE CHANGED! Great home-grilled type of burgers and sandwiches. Breakfast is great too. I love to order the spinach and mushroom omelette - great! I recently barely tried their double cheeseburger, and oh holy fast food .. It was SO good! I've been going for years and yet I never tried their burgers as I'm not a fan of burgers to begin with, but I'm glad I did. Fresh ingredients and not at all heavy. Loved it! I usually go for breakfast in the mornings, and I like that they don't have a problem adding other ingredients to my orders upon request. They also recently started accepting debit cards, huge convenience. They do take over-the-phone orders as well. Small diner, but it's never overwhelmingly full. They serve you your food if you choose to dine-in. I do admit they tend to be friendlier as you become a regular, but I can't say they've ever been rude. This place is awesome. I work right around the corner and eat here a couple times a month. I always get the avocado sandwich (aka BLTA sans B) and an order of fries. Their fries are my fav: perfectly fried and potato-y with a good amount of salt. The avocado and tomatoes in my sandwich are always ripe - not what you'd expect from a hole-in-the-wall fast food joint. The burgers here are amazing, but they come with a side of god awful service. The older woman at the counter is incredibly rude and seems bothered by customers. They ration everything down to the drop; for example, the ketchup bottles rarely have much ketchup left & charge for refills. While I understand they are a mom & pop resturant & they have to watch their food cost a bit more, customers shouldn't be squeezing out ketchup from multiple bottles to finish their meal. The owners are also really awful to their staff that look like teenagers and are not much better with customers. The burgers are incredibly delicious, unfortunately horrible the customer service stops me from eating there too often. read more

I would come here after school all the time from the time I was in middle school to my mid-high school years. I lived off their bacon cheeseburgers and fries and their chilli-cheese dogs and their onion rings and their tuna melts. I still love this place, and it really hasn't changed. The employees have pretty much stayed the same, and so has the food. I still always have my go-to. I usually get the bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries and a fat cup of coke. I don't know what they do, but even their sodas are just better than everyone else's. After I get my change, I pop a coin in one of the toy machines, and I usually get something pretty stupid. I was treated very cruel there.... I drove up and parked outside on the street finishing my smoke with my window rolled up more than half way. After about (3) puffs of finishing my smoke, I get out, go inside, order my food and eat it. I ask for a to-go box and the lady hands it over to me and the older gentleman who does the cooking walks up to me and says.... "Ma'am..."The next time you come here, don't smoke before you come in....or don't come back at all." ....As soon as he makes that statement he turned around as not to face me and walks away. I couldn't even apologize for myself, not that I should have anyway. I was parked on the street with my window almost rolled up well more than 20 feet from the front door of their establishment. Notice that he could have told me "before" I ordered and ate my food. But, he let me order my food and eat it first before putting my head in the toaster! I guess he wanted to make sure he got his $12.00 bucks and change for my breakfast, first. Obviously, if you smoke cigarettes as I do, you are not welcome there.
