I grew up here, and this place is a staple in Tujunga. I've eaten at some shitty spots and never thought after the revamp of this joint would be that. I came and ordered a cheese burger and the kid making my burger wasn't wearing gloves. I asked him why no gloves and the audacity of the kid was rude. He mentioned have you ever wore gloves over a hot grill they will burn my hands. Well infections and food borne illnesses will kill your customers. I said at least wash your hands. Fucking little shit started to make put downs on me like that will affect me. I'll never come to this place again. Youngsters don't wash their ass nor their hands. Not on my list anymore. read more

I got my burger came home and only one burger with everything on it called worker told him I don't get what is the matter what you guys and he says, you better calm yourself like he's trying to start a fight professional don't care about their customers. The food is good but the workers have a nasty nasty attitude. I ordered a combo and he gave me a small drink. So i asked to upgrade it and he told me it would be 5$! that makes no sense. How is a combo 11 and then to upgrade everything to a large it would be 5$. Extra 9$ for a drink and fries. If you buy a drink and fries separate it's less than that. My husband and I just moved to the area and Super Charburgers is probably one of our favorite local places to eat at. We're big fans of charburgers, in general, and Super Charburger does a good job with it, hence their name. It's a small mom and pop kind of place so don't be deterred by that. They have street parking up front and lot right next door. The foods tasty, comes out quick, and will give you that charred taste that fast-food burgers miss. read more

Only thing I really miss from the previous owners is some of the menu items offered before. The food is good and pretty straight forward. I got a BLT and onion rings, both were good and no complaints as everything tasted as expected. The guys working there at the time I was there were friendly and the service was fairly quick. Very disappointed, as someone who loved this place before it closed we were very disappointed. We ordered the chicken tender combo a staple we used to get all the time is now a sad sad meal, the chicken tenders tasted like the school chicken tenders and they're much smaller and of less quality than before. For a meal that used to cost 10$ and is now 14$ it is NOT worth it, even the ranch and bbq sauce was a disappointment, it's sad when the highlight of your meal are the fries that still just aren't the same. I want to start off by saying that the food at this place is really good if it was just for the food I would rate it 4 stars. The service is horrible I believe the man I dealt with was the owner, I had come here a couple of years ago and there was a girl working the register and she was really rude so I decided not to go there again now 2 years later I tried to give it another try and again the food is great but the service is really horrible even worse than last time. The guy I was dealing with came over and rudely took over to register from the young man that was trying to take my order he was having difficulties answering my questions and he had what seem to be like a problem with me for some reason. I ordered a double cheeseburger with avocados and bacon one cheeseburger and a patty melt with two cokes I ask the man for some ranch and he gave me a very dirty look and I explained to him that I would be happy to pay for it if that's what the problem is so he charged me $1.08 each I had asked for three of them I think paying over $3 for ranch is ridiculous not only that but they explain that they wanted to close in half an hour and that I would only have to get the food to go I was very polite and even when I said goodbye he responded in a very rude and disrespectful tone. Honestly I didn't feel comfortable there at all I don't think I'll be back there ever again it's just not right to treat people that way I was very kind very professional and respectful. Customer service was very great and made the environment welcoming, the hamburger wasn't the best but It was ok, I didn't like the lettuce I was given chunks of the root (the thick yellow part at the bottom) the fries were the best. Is a Chili Cheese Pastrami Burrito. Yup you heard me correctly. I've tried several other spots in the area and either they won't make it for me or it just didn't meet the same criteria as the ones I'm used to. My cousin sent me a picture of one from a known spot we used to frequent back on the day and made me crave one. So I stopped by super char and told the guy taking my order I had a special request. Please note - I would give 3.5 stars, if possible, and this review is just on breakfast. This burger joint is another ST staple that we've visited many times. It also serves some Mexican food and breakfast. It is a really small place that serves decent, solid food at fair prices. It's not fancy, by ANY means but it's a decent choice for take-out. The location is good in that it's right on Foothill blvd and visible to the many cars that pass through. It's an old building and could use some cheering up. The interior reminds me of something you might see inside a little food shack on a drive to Vegas, along side an old gas station from the early 60's. Bland, with an old window AC unit built-in to to the back wall. There is a TV mounted high and large enough for all to enjoy. They have several booths and they are all old but clean. The staff is an older woman who serves as cashier and waitress and an older gentleman who appears to be the cook. Neither seem overly friendly but we don't buy food from SCB for the service. We usually take-out. You can either order outside at the window or you can order at the counter, inside. This time, we did eat-in. It has been YEARS since I have done that but, what they hey. I ordered a bacon omelet and my friend ordered a breakfast sandwich. I also ordered coffee. They do not have half -n- half, only milk. I don't really care either way but some folks are big on the creamer thing. The food came out right away, brought to our table by the waitress. My omelet was joined by a LARGE helping of fried potatoes and REALLY good sourdough toast. I didn't think my omelet came with cheese but there was a square of american style cheese melted on top. The omelet was decent size, full of bacon and delicious - and you could see the mix of egg whites and yolk, insuring that this was house-made and not a prefab egg mix like many restaurants use. The potatoes were also house-made, sliced thin and some of the best breakfast potatoes in town. NOTE: If you're feeling fancy, get these potatoes to go and throw them in a pan at home with a little olive oil, onions and rosemary. Have a little Parmesan? Throw some on.... MMM!!! My friend's breakfast sandwich was basic but good. He noticed the bacon in his was a higher quality than most standard breakfast places (Denny's, etc.) There are a lot of other choices in town for breakfast and some of them are much nicer in appearance and service but who cares about that when you're doing take-out? When we want real, hearty, house-made breakfast at a great price, this place is our #1 take-out choice. read more
