Wish you could give a -5 star. Got egg drop soup had hardly no flavor to it at all which is the first one I've ever had that happen. Got pork fried rice might've had five or six slivers of pork in it three or four pieces of an onion no egg, no peas. Nothing that made it a fried rice very oily and greasy. How the hell can you charge that much for that crap got the lumpia they were OK. One of the only things that was actually edible. Was so disgusted with the food that I threw it away and didn't take pictures and now I'm wishing I did so I could post the pictures up. I would say completely away from this useless place. read more

I came here because a friend of mine told me it was her favorite Chinese restaurant in my area. I ordered my usual- shrimp & broccoli in garlic sauce with white rice. I called in advance and drove to pick up the order. It was ready when I arrived, in the quoted time of 15 minutes. Once I got back home, I dug in. It was a bit underwhelming. This is our go-to Chinese food place. Our favorite is the hunan tofu the spring rolls are also great (order extra!). The ladies on the phone are always super nice and the delivery guy is the BEST. My parents, husband & I ordered takeout from Super China on shore drive last night, and my family is still talking about how much they loved it. Crab rangoons- everyone loved them. You get 10 in an order for a very reasonable price. They are the sweet kind of rangoons and very tasty Beef teriyaki sticks- excellent. The beef is incredibly tender, and had a good amount of sweet& salty teriyaki glaze Curry beef-my mom said it's the best Chinese curry beef she's ever had Egg foo young -delicious Sweet and sour chicken-pretty standard for Chinese restaurants Black bean chicken & lo mein- again, pretty standard. A little on the sweet side. Egg rolls- pretty standard. A little greasy, but still good! Overall, we were so pleased with this restaurant. The delivery person was very friendly, as well. I'm not going to lie to you and say that this is authentic Chinese. I have no idea. I've never been to China. I don't even have a passport. What I will tell you is that there is food here, and that it's fairly edible. I ordered the Pineapple Chicken combo to-go, and sat in the restaurant to wait while they prepared it. I was expecting tender chicken meat braised in a pineapple-based sauce... instead I got deep-fried chicken balls stir-fried with bits of canned pineapple. Whatever. There are few things I won't eat if I'm hungry enough, and I most certainly was. The non-lunch combos come with pork fried rice, which have like 2.3 tiny bits of marinated pork. No egg bits in the fried rice. I was sad about this, but not more than I was by the chicken balls. Service, however, was fast, and reasonably friendly, and the prices are right on par for typical Chinese takeout restaurants in the area (my combo order was a little more than $7 including tax). For quality, authentic Chinese fare, however, I'd suggest anywhere else. Absolutely anywhere else. read more

One of my weekly standby's! Love their crab rangoon. Update 10/14 Still in the weekly line up for dinner! We always get crab Rangoon, some sort of chicken (either sweet n sour or Gen Tsao's), a noodle dish (Singapore pancit if I do the ordering, pork lo mein if DH calls it in). The family that runs the place is awesome - really nice with a great memory for faces. Is it authentic Chinese food? Probably not, but seriously - how many of us really know authentic Chinese food? (My DH is an ABC & his family used to own a Chinese restaurant in NYC. They know Chinese food...) But if you're out in OV & have a hankering for good Chinese food to go - check it out. read more

Service is always great at Super China! This is our go to take out place for Chinese food. Definitely recommend the crab rangoon and lo mein. My boyfriend loves the sweet and sour chicken. Not great........Instant rice, crunchy noodles for your soup are always stale. They deliver fast and reliably - that's their good point.

So for a first time I'm very impressed. Super fast and friendly service. The fact that the white rice was just as fresh as my vegetables lo mein, chicken and broccoli,and general tso. This place has messed up my food so many times. I kept trying to give them a chance because I had read decent reviews. Unfortunately, today really did it for me. I ordered steamed rice with steamed vegetables and shrimp. The lady repeated my order but when I got my food, it had a black sauce I never asked for. I returned the item, to which she then denied she ever said they would make my order the way I asked for it. She then proceeded to charge me an additional fee because she said they don't make the order I was trying to get (white rice with steamed vegetables and shrimp with no black sauce). I decided to pay for it because I just wanted my order correct. This time, they gave me a brown paper bag that was overly stapled, so, I decided not to open it and just take it home. They gave me steamed vegetables with a small box of rice and no shrimp. I paid way extra for them to rip me off . I would absolutely never recommended this place to anybody. read more

Standard take out Chinese, and relatively fast when I went in to order/pick up and so far, the food is just as good for breakfast the next day as it was hot and for dinner the night before. I think that's a pretty good barometer. I would take this over a Panda Express any day of the week, if that gives you a frame of reference. read more
