My husband and I scrambled to find an electrician to fix our fan. Super Fast Electric came out to give us a quote. We were quoted $799, thanked them for coming out and said that seems way too high to fix a fan, the gentlemen who came out our home stated he would reach out to his manager after asking my husband Joe much he thought the job was "worth" $200 is what his answer was. He then sat in his car, asked his manager and they ended up not being able to assist. Fast forward to today, we had another electrician come out, he fixed the fan in an hour and a half and told us our total for today is $40. We were told by Super Fasts employee that if we moved forward with them "that we are paying for honest work". Nothing honest about this company and it's sad to see companies taking advantage of potential clients. read more

I've lived here for several years and lately was seeing some issues with the lights flickering and acting up within my kitchen area which was worrisome so I placed a call in for a review of my electrical wiring with SFE. A tech came out and he checked all the electrical outlets and gave me some good news but also found some flaws which needed correcting. He provided four different work suggestions and I went with the first one which was repairing the issues of my main panel not being standardized and being very old. The office went about getting the proper permits needed which took a few weeks and then I received an email almost a week and a half beforehand stating the date which the technician would come in to do the work, time frame between 8 - 12pm. Early that morning, I already received a text stating that the technician would be arriving. He was knocking on my door by 8:10am. I left the garage open while he promptly went about getting the installation of a new 150amp main panel, new 60amp disconnect for AC surge protection, new grounding system and surge protection done. In the time he was working, I went to the library, visited my parents and around 3pm, I received a call that he was waiting on the Casselberry inspector to check on the work and that I could head back. By the time I made it home some 20 minutes after, it was all good to go. I walked through the house turning on all the switches and making sure everything that needed to power up worked fine. He gave me a break down of all the work done, emailed me the paperwork and pictures of the work plus provided me the documentation. Extremely professional every step of the way. read more

**UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW** After airing my frustration here super fast electric reached out to me directly to come to an understanding. They explained to me how their pricing works and clarified a misunderstanding had at the time received the estimate. They were able to bring the total price down to an amount think would be fair for what was a misunderstanding. I believe the care and understanding they take with their customers may not be matched by other companies. Given the way the estimates work can totally see how that would be beneficial for a job that may not be clear at first. I would totally recommend them to anyone who asks. Furthermore the price they quoted for a full rewire of my home is more than fair and based on the conversation we had knowing that the price won't change makes me feel secure. They also have a 10 year warranty on their work which totally sends the message that they stand by their work. *Original Review* The technician who worked on the problem did an amazing job. He followed all covid protocols and fixed the issue really quickly maybe within 2 hours. He was amazing at explaining the problem. Honestly they should hire more people like him he was great with my dogs and considered my understanding of the situation. I'd say I'm 100% satisfied with how he handled everything. Where I did have an issue was on the price and how estimates work. I had an issue where two lights and an outlet were out in my bathroom. Originally the estimate was pretty hefty at $900 which I thought was a little high and I was expecting somewhere around the $400 range. After learning of the estimate I asked if it turned out to be a simpler issue to fix could it be adjusted and he said yes. I assumed maybe his boss would hear him out but I guess maybe that wasn't the case here. I think the technician did all he could to bring down the price but maybe a manager wasn't allowing it because maybe the estimate was set in stone? I don't know how that works. What my personal opinion is when the work is done and the technician relays the info of what was done there should be some sort of understanding from management that maybe they are charging far too much. To summarize my frustration I paid $850 for 2hrs of work where all that was changed was a connector in a fan, so it's not like the price is justified in materials either. I think estimates should go both ways. If we find the work to be easier than originally expected and less parts then the price should decrease significantly and vice versa if the opposite. Also maybe consider what your technician actually did for work because that price just isn't justified. I was thinking of doing a whole house rewiring with them based on the technicians rapport alone but kind of turned off by it after all that. read more

I couldn't even schedule service. I was interested in getting my ceiling fans rewired for two switches to control the fan and lights separately. They sent a tech out which then provided me with an estimate. Their solution provided was a bit higher than I expected, so I asked for a new estimate for just the one room. It took exactly 5 business days to receive the new estimate after having to follow up with the electrician, since he apparently missed my message. I then contacted that tech again to speak about it and schedule the service. Again... no response after an entire week. So then I call the main office and the women told me she would contact him. It has now been another 4 business days since we spoke and I still haven't heard back from anyone. Needless to say, seems silly I have to chase after them for business, especially after they charged me a fee for providing the estimates. I have decided to take my money elsewhere. read more

When you're dealing with electricity, safety after they leave, is a major concern. Getting a good quote fast with a reasonable price is a great first step. However, the work quality and code is most important. I got a good price, not "great" but, fair. The work quality is excellent. Fair price, excellent quality of work. Today, that's good value. Shawn was FAST. Got the quote on Thursday, the work was completed on Monday by noon. Did I get everything I asked for? YES. Did they go beyond my expectations? YES. I won't say how because I don't wanna set them up on future gigs but, they added a favor I asked for at no additional charge. I'd request Shawn. In all fairness, he was my in-person quote manager and, the installer so, he's the only person with whom I dealt. Willing to be the other staff or equally good. I had a horrible ceiling fan and light removed, a new light installed, troubleshot a circuit issue and two 20A quad receptacles installed. Took less than 4 hours. My first experience with Super Fast Electric was an interesting one. I needed a new GFCI in my kitchen and not feeling comfortable doing my own electrical work, their competitive quote was a no brainer. My tech was a super nice guy, who offered to replace an additional GFCI in addition to the one needing repair as it would probably go bad as well quickly. I said sure. The broken GFCI was replaced, but when removing the additional GFCI he broke the screw mount. Somewhat in a rush, he reinstalled it but it was very uneven with a large space at the bottom and deeply recessed into the wall not matching the quality of installation of all the other outlets in the kitchen. He left, but I reached out to Steve the manager who kindly had him come back and spend another 20 Minutes to get it right. And finally, it was to my satisfaction. Had he taken the extra 20 minutes the first time and also cleaned up after hinself ie drywall etc, this would have easily been a 5 star experience. read more

I'd called during the Xmas holiday. Left a message for a non emergency but hoped for a call back sooner than later as there was no message they were closed during this period. All aside, this didn't bother me much but would have appreciated a recording stating we're closed and will get back to you...I did get a call back after the holiday break, tried to coordinate the appointment given, but by the time I called back with our availability, within a few hours, their appts were already filled up. Still get that. The scope of the work was a two bedroom condo electrical consultation with a must have new electrical panel, installing multiple lights...removing lights, relocating outlets, rewiring but.....they could not trim down their estimate appt time to 2 hours instead of 4. We are blessed we're able to work but can't always be available on notice. Even 2 hours would have made a difference. Four hours not. Sorry to say this Company was highly recommended to me but to have them deny a two hour window? I also asked for Steve as recommended but was told he no longer worked for individual people or for questions. I've seen a few reviews that don't support that. UPDATE: Steve was kind enough to follow up and come out for an estimate. He spent considerable time going over all our electrical issues, concerns and questions. We're currently working on pricing out our multiple phases for the scope of work needed. Ok. So I needed a bunch of recessed lights installed in my home. I also needed some outdoor floodlights, landscape lights, a light fixture (25 feet high), a chandelier (25 feet high) and some grounding work done. After several quotes, Super Fast Electric came in the lowest. It took 2 days to do the job. The electricians were on time, professional and extremely friendly. Steve, the owner, also is a stand-up guy who will do whatever it takes to make sure you are satisfied. No complaints. The guys did exactly what I wanted and even went beyond by helping paint parts of the ceiling where light fixtures were removed. I would definitely use them again for any electrical needs. First appointment: I waited at the job site for the electrician, but had to be re-scheduled. Later that week, An electrician came on time, and looked at what he needed to get, and went to get the needed parts at a local supplier. about 45 minutes later, he returned and replaced a faulty overhead light and two light sensors in the outside lights. The tech was very professional and informative..... no issues there. I didn't get a quote before getting the work done, and probably should have. The bill for replacing 2 outdoor light sensors and one LED panel light was $603. Parts were $117, and labor was $318. Great work, but pretty expensive. I suggest getting a quote before using them. read more

I have known Steve from Super Fast Electric for almost 2 years now, and have not met a more honest and knowledgable electrician. When I first hired him two years ago to install a high end security system, including a license plate reader, he and his team have been nothing but the most professional, friendly, and experienced team I have ever hired. Before I hired them, I received 4 other estimates from four other electricians/security system installers, and his quote beat the rest by a significant margin. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and meticulous. I was extremely satisfied with his team's work and pricing! Few months ago I needed electricity run to my shed, and Steve was out to the house and had the job done in no time! (At the time I had also received a quote from Ferran, and Steve's quote was significantly cheaper too!) Shortly after, I had Steve come out and run 120 feet of electrical wire to 4 lamp posts which Steve had his guys construct and install for me! (This time I didn't waste any time getting another estimate because I have experienced first hand how honest and professional his company is, I didn't need to think twice about who to hire.) My first experience with this company was when Steve, the owner, came to my home to help with some wiring problems and electrical outlets that didn't work. I was super impressed with him and his service and the price of his service. The next call to finish some work installing a 220 v line for a new wall over for my kitchen and some repair work for other stuff that Steve was unable to fix due to a time crunch. The men arrived and within a few minutes I was uncomfortable. The two men were both Hispanic and spoke Spanish to each other in my presence. I thought that was rather rude because I don't speak Spanish. One of the men told me he had to run the 220 line from the other side of my house because there was no room on my circuit board. I was not happy with that. Then He realized he was unable to do this because I have vaulted ceilings that would not allow this. So he had to add another breaker to the box. What bothered me was that they didn't care that I didn't like what he wanted to do, it was as if he was going to do what he wanted. They also installed 3 ceiling fans for me. After they completed the work and left, they left a hole in my wall, they left the mess from the hole they made in the wall with a tarp that was left also, they left my circuit panel door off and the 220 line was left hanging out of my wall with caps on them. and that visit was a hefty price well over $1200... They had to come back and install my oven (wires hanging out of the wall) when I went into my attic to put some stuff away I saw the mess that was left up there. Broken Christmas ornaments, things thrown all over the place. I was very pissed at this point. My last call to them was because the 220v line they put in seemed to not be working. I had an appointment with them between 2-4 and they arrived at 6:30 pm. right in the middle of me making dinner. I said the the Tech, this is terrible, I am right in the middle of making dinner and he said, "That's nice". I was not impressed at all with the continuation of service from this company. I never leave reviews of companies. I figure that sometimes its just a bad day... but I am so upset with the service especially because of the price I had to pay to them for what they did. read more
