I got a Nike air shoe at this place... People were really friendly and I found a shoe that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately within 2 weeks of use some stitches came out. I went there and told them about the defect. They looked at the shoes and gave a brand new replacement of the same shoe immediately - that's it.. zero questions asked. NOT JUST FOR RUNNERS! Fabulous service. My 16 year old has been homebound for several years (car accident). Finally able to do a bit more, and we needed help trying to figure out what would work best that (i) didn't jar her head...at all, (ii) don't cause foot pain and (iii) would work for stretching, walking, etc. CARL helped us and he was GREAT. He watched how she walked in numerous pairs of shoes, made sure the fit and comfort was right. Applied absolutely no pressure, and had lots of patience. I went into this store yesterday with some trepidation. I want to start jogging but have problem feet that need stability in a shoe. Most running shoe stores are intimidating to those of us "at a certain age" who are not hardcore athletes. A young dark-haired man with glasses helped me, and it was absolutely the best shoe buying experience I've ever had! He took his time to help me understand what I needed, was very encouraging and had a good sense of humor. There was no high pressure, no up-selling - just fabulous customer service. I left with the right shoes (Asics Gel Foundation 8) and perfect Biosoft insoles (that didn't cost a fortune) and a lot more confidence about my goal to make it through a 5k by the end of the year. I am just trying to get into running, and frankly find it all rather intimidating. I stopped into Super Jock & Jill in Redmond, and am so glad I did. The staff were all super nice, friendly, and helpful- the very opposite of intimidating! The sales associate spent nearly an hour with me analyzing my running style and feet. He even had me run with various shoe combinations not just in the store, but around the neighborhood. I think I found the perfect shoe for me- but they assured me if there were any issues, they would take the shoes back and find another pair. I stopped by the Super Jock 'n Jill in Redmond to check out some new running shoes and was VERY impressed with selection of shoes and customer service. I wear a women's size 12 and to be honest, had very low expectations that they'd have anything in my size. Ben, the salesperson who helped me, said the store does carry women's 12's and proceeded to bring out numerous pairs for me to try on. Can't say enough about Ben . . . he was awesome . . . super patient, answered all questions and helped me decide on a pair of New Balance running shoes. He even took the time to check out the availability of other colors and placed an order for me. While at the store, I saw other sales people helping other customers and again was impressed with everyone's customer service skills. I have always bought my running shoes at the Nike Outlet in North Bend (because they generally have women's size 12) but am SO glad I decided to visit Super Jock 'n Jill. Awesome experience! Love the new SJJ Redmond location. A similar feel to the Green Lake location that i've been going to for 12 years, with some of the same staff. SJJ is great at creating the most inviting and friendly atmosphere in comparison to all of the other specialized running stores in the area. They truly care about every client. Their run clubs are also super fun to join, and Evan the store manager is always around to greet you as well. Man oh man this place is awesome! Started to have foot problems so it was time for new running shoes. So I was told about Jock n Jill and they did not disappoint! KYLE was the sales associate who spent time with me and he was EXTREMELY friendly and knowledgable. I'm not kidding I think he had me try on about 10 shoes just to make sure I got outfitted with the perfect one. That kid was a stud. Best customer service I've had in a long time. What a great store! Not only do they have a great selection of shoes but the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It was obvious that they wanted me to have a good experience and that the end goal was getting me into the right pair of shoes and not just turning a profit. They never seemed bored or impatient helping me with lots of choices but remained attentive and engaged the whole time. They also have an amazing return policy! You can bring the shoes in at any time if you notice that they just aren't for you after using them. And instead of throwing away the shoes or having to return them to the vendor they get donated to local schools and other charities. I will definitely be going back! read more

I went to Super Jock n Jill today to get new running shoes with high expectations. Without a doubt not only were my expectations met but they were exceeded! Stopped here after I read all the positive reviews. I'm just in town for Bumbershoot and have been wanting new running shoes to start training again. Mike helped me and was SO awesome!! He knew a lot about running and shoes. I originally went in for the Vibram 5 finger shoes but they didn't carry them..he offered some similar minimalist styles that he suggested I just try on. He let me run around the block in them and then had me try other shoes to compare. I love my new New Balance Minimus shoes! I never felt pressured to buy at all. He was so friendly and great to talk to! He also gave me a free pair of socks which was awesome :) I highly recommend this shop, it makes such a difference when employees know their product and can help people find what they're looking for. My husband and I decided to get back into running after about 3 years . We didn't want to go to Road Runners Sports because will we'll just say they suck.... so we went down to Super b Jock and Jill and was pleasantly greeted by Cari. She was amazing. Took the time to fit us both properly into new running shoes. My husband has a heck of a time finding shoes that are comfortable to him. She showed him how to re lace shoes so they fit better. This place is great! I purchased a pair of running shoes for my wide feet here that would be very difficult to find elsewhere. I must have tried on at least ten different sizes or types of shoes before I decided on which one to buy. They also let you run outside in each shoe to try it out. I talked to Gail as I was experiencing foot pain due to a blister and instead of trying to sell me shoes she gave me an honest evaluation and told me it was probably due to friction either from my sock, shoe, or a lack of chafing cream. In any case she gave me free Balega socks (yeah!) and free chafing cream (yeah!) so I bought a pair of shoes she recommended! This place rocks compared to other places I've visited RR (RoadRunner), REI, and other places that sell running gear but nothing beats loyalty than some quality freebies! Awesome shoe buying experience. I needed a pair of running shoes for my son. I received a couple of recommendations on where to get cross country shoes - one of them was for Super Jock and Jill. I visited the other store first and had a very poor experience (ended up not buying shoes there). Then I went to Super Jock and Jill, where I was greeted by John (I believe that's his name). John was very knowledgeable and very patient with my son. We spent quite some time to find the proper shoes where every time my son tried a pair on he'd run outside to see how they feel. John was not pushing us and it genuinely seemed as he wanted my son to feel comfortable with whatever shoe he might end up with. I was very satisfied with the shoe John recommended, my son loves it as it's very comfy and light on his feet when running, and the entire experience was great. I wish I'd heard about this store earlier - I will definitely visit them for my own next pair of shoes. read more

I didn't want to go in - I know I need help with athletic shoes due to my flat and narrow feet, but wow - I usually do not like dealing with sales people - but WOW this place is AWESOME !!! The sales person listened to me, looked at my 6+ year old shoes, recommended we try the updated version of the same brand - encouraged me to walk outside (new ones felt wonderful) then when I made the side comment that I didn't love the color he immediately offered to see if the shoe came in other colors and found black ! Asked me to try them on - just t be safe - and I haven't taken them off yet. Entire experience was less than 10 minutes and I have new shoes that I love and that already make my feet feel better. I went in to buy a Hoka Clifton v2 shoe but they brought out a v1 shoe and only after I told them I wanted the v2 shoe they brought that out. It felt like they wanted to get rid of old inventory. Would have been ok if they showed me both v1 at a discount and v2 that I wanted. But it felt like I was being targeted to get rid of inventory. I've had a good experience with other sales people so I'm guessing it was just that sales person. read more

Last month I went to this running store and got a pair of Brooks Dyad. They didn't work for me so I had to return them. They where muddy as I had used them for a few runs. They took them back with no hesitation and helped me get another pair. I have used my Brooks Adrenaline for 3 runs and they feel great. The staff super nice and helpful.
