Super Movers just completed my move and I am not happy with their services. Several of my items are damaged. When I verbally expressed this to them during the move, they tried to negate it and say that everything was fine. I reached out to the main line and he said my husband damaged our items when he helped unload and that the other "details concerning my move were unfortunate at best." Photo attached of my complaint. They packed the truck like idiots. That's where the issues started. They didn't put furniture in first and it caused numerous problems. Things fell over, items weren't secured appropriately, etc. There were two men and one of them was significantly nicer than the other. Will was the nicer gentleman's name. I'm pregnant and unable to move heavy items and he was so sweet to me and my husband and understanding of my pregnancy. His partner, not sure of his name, was so rude. I was late to meet them at my house and was informed that my move could take longer than the 4 hours allotted. When the 4 hours hit, he left immediately without saying anything. He left his partner in my house! I felt bad for him because Will could tell I was frustrated and wanted to help and his partner wouldn't allow him to do so. I tipped my last movers $100. These guys unfortunately didn't earn a tip with their gross negligence and mishandling of my items. I moved across country after a 16 hour drive with less issues than this 9 mile, 15 minute move. Do NOT use this company. I saw them in my neighborhood and called them for a 2 bdrm move, into a 2 bdrm, both 1st floors. I went to the website and was pleased. I requested a quote and received it. This move was for my dad whom has brain cancer. I had a two hour window in which they were late. The move consisted of furniture only. The experience was horrible from the minute they were late. I paid for a 17' truck and got a 15' truck. My witness was an ex truck driver that verified it was only a 15'er. I paid for shrink wrap that was NOT supplied. This was supposed to be a four (4) hour move. It wound up being 6.5, which put these men into a senior building after 9PM. Which was NOT acceptable to me or my family to be disruptive this late in the evening. And cost us an additional $210.00, due to the lack of 2 experienced movers. One of the movers was seasoned and knew exactly what he was doing. The other a trainee and not strong at all. He dropped a curio cabinet, thank goodness the seasoned mover took the glass door off first or that would have been tragic. I had to help the seasoned guy a bit on the loading side, and on the empty side, my daughter and I helped unload as the trainee at this point was barely seen. The trainee rolled a dolly into this apartment and took a huge gauge out of the door. This job was done by really just one mover, the seasoned guy and took that long because he really did the job alone. As I did not want to make a scene in the late hour now (they finally finished at 10:45), I would deal with this in the morning and did exactly that I wanted to express my concerns and ask for a small refund and David, who claimed he was the owner, got nasty, yelled and swore at me. I put my husband on the phone who started to calmly express again what the issue was and he started calling my husband swear names. My husband hung up on him and he had the audacity to call back and call my husband nasty names again. We do not appreciate that harassment. My father, in which this move was for, had to suffer the overpayments caused by them not having two seasoned movers in which that is what we paid for, and lack of consideration of the jerk on the other end. They have refused to refund any overpayment that we feel was not necessary if two men were adequately assigned to this job. The "owner" didn't even care, had no concerns, came up with every excuse under the sun to not help. RUDE! Disgusting and Very Unprofessional service. Swearing at your clients will not get you business and is not how this should have been dealt with. Also ironic the owners name listed is not the man we spoke to. You have employees lying to their customers about anything and everything. WILL NOT RECOMMEND EVER! All I wanted was a small refund for my dad of one hour (I was willing to pay one extra hour due to only one efficient and capable person, but NO more), and the refund of the shrink wrap that I did not get. Aprox. a $100.00 refund, was that too much to ask for? NO! This was a shit show from the beginning and all I wanted was for them to take responsibility of sending one mover and a trainee. If you want to teach, go ahead, but he should have been the third guy. And please don't get me wrong, he was nice, but... He would be better working in an office and not in the field. We have plenty of paperwork to prove what we paid for, pictures of the truck and door that they wrecked. We were lied to on numerous fronts and not adequately and appropriately compensated for their lies and errors on their end. read more

He was told he was horrible with customer service and said he's not in customer service. He was then told he was a bad business owner due to his language and attitude so he had a fit and canceled the move. He makes his employees work over night and has no respect for a customer. They were over 3 1/2 hours late and we were accommodating, but when mentioned we didn't want to move until midnight, he didn't care. This was my first time hiring professional movers, I am one of those "Do it yourself" types, but I recently injured myself at work and couldn't foresee myself being able to handle this. The expected arrival time was 9-9.30 am the guys arrived at 10.30a and started right away. I showed them my packing "handiwork", (which by the way they seemed very impressed) and explained what items were going to what stop ( I had 2 locations for my belongings). The guys were courteous, efficient and communicable throughout the entire move. I must say I am highly impressed with their ease and muscle!! From what I seen nothing was damaged ( won't know until I begin unpacking), but I didn't hear anything crack or shatter, and the stairwell from both the "move from" building and the "move to" was clear of damage.. They expressed much patience and understanding as I expressed my anxieties and sadness from seeing my belongings in a truck and experiencing my apartment getting more and more empty... Awful company. Was great back in 2016, but something bad happened to this company. Lazy young guys that sit around in-between loading the truck and getting back to moving items, then hit you up every hour for another $70. They did this 3 times to me. Utterly destroyed some of my unique possessions, only to reimburse $30, which is what they decided without receipts. MANY other movers to choose from that care. Remember, you get what you pay for, but it's twice as much as what you're initially quoted. read more

Wish there was a way to give no stars. Moving out of state and leaving furniture to daughter (who lives 2 miles away). They were supposed to be there at 9am. Called at 9 and was told one of the guys called in sick and the other only had a 14ft truck (not big enough). At 11am was told the bigger truck was almost done and it shouldnt be long. Was told the same thing at 1pm, 3pm and 430pm! We were supposed to be on the road to SC at 11am so now we were being held hostage because we couldnt leave. Finally showed up at 530. The 2 guys were friendly but the woman that answered the phone throughout the day (when she felt like answering) was rude and of no help. Had to pay them before they would leave to take furniture to daughters house and that is another nightmare including damage to wall that they did not mention. Would not recommend them at all! Hired this company based off of a recommendation, but will never recommend them to my family, friends or clients. They damaged our home on the stairwells, chunks of drywall missing, bent the corners of the drywall in, broke our furniture, slid couches across hardwood floors leaving scratches from one side of room to the other. We watched them bounce a queen sized box spring down each hardwood step, after sliding it from the bedroom into the closet doors in the hallway, then to the stairwell. Ripped and bent a door latch out of the wall.. the damage was extensive. It was brought to their attention before they left and they said to call owner. We contacted them, then followed their direction to send e-mail with pictures, which ended up going nowhere. This was a $600,000+ home that was damaged. Very disappointing and sloppy, careless work. So, I'm forgetting one of the movers names, but Clarence and the other mover (one syllable name I think) did a great job. They brought all my stuff up a 4 story walk up. They were friendly and kind. My stuff is at my new place and in one piece. They even helped me take apart some furniture and put it back together both to fit the stairs and to fix a table where the legs were on wrong. They also dealt with some angry homeowner's association neighbors that were upset about a moving truck being parked near their cars (for no reason but to be upset). I didn't even have to get involved. Good experience, good people, affordable, easy. They were 1.5 hours late and didn't notify me they would be late until they were already 30 minutes late. An earlier notice would have been nice. When they arrived and saw the two items to be moved, they stated they don't disassemble those, even though I was previously told they did. So then I figured, "Hey, let's just get them in the truck and delivered and I'll take care of disassembly" but they couldn't even get the items in the service elevator though these items previously fit in the elevator to get to the location in which they were stored. Worst movers I've ever used . Here are photos of all my damaged stuff . DO NOT USE THEM . Apparently removing a door off a a fridge is considered "assembly" . My fridge would not fit through the doorway to get out . It was damaged , along with all my other stuff , dresser, staircase, walls. They had nothing strapped , nothing taped when they carried my dressers upstairs . It was an absolute NIGHTMARE . I could go on and on about how bad they were . They were also 1 HOUR LATE . My appointment was for 9am , they showed up at 10am . Also, the truck stalled in the street when they tried to back up into my driveway. That was 15 minutes of restarting the car. We packed it, and, boy, did they move it. My studio was on the fourth (topmost) floor, and the movers carried some large stuff (a desk, a mattress and a dresser) up a narrow stairwell to get there. We just used Super Movers for a 3 mile move. After watching these guys work their butt's off we are very happy we elected to hire them. They were incredibly fast and were more than happy to move anything we needed. The truck was packed very well and they cleaned out our place in no time. Pedro was great in scheduling the move and confirming before hand. Our neighbor was so impressed with what he saw he is going to call them soon when he moves out. I just used Super Movers and could not be happier. Their prices were the lowest I found and was expecting their service to be bare minimum. So we had our first snowfall of the season which started they night before my scheduled move and continued thru Saturday. The roads were ugly and I was expecting a call to cancel on me. Lucky for me that was not the case. The 2 movers were friendly, professional and efficient. The foot or so of snow did not hinder their ability to get my job done. I highly recommend Super Movers.
