Took an hour and a half to get our food and other tables that came half an hour after us got their food first. The food was good but not worth the wait. Maybe just order take out. No communication with the time or offered more chips. There was like one person doing everything but we didn't notice until after we ordered. I am a salvadorean always looking for places to eat because we love our pupusas and dishes that reminds us of our culture. With that being said this is a small place modest pupusas we're ok not the best. I didn't like the customer service from the beginning they have to learn how to be nicer and also I have never gone to a restaurant where I have to get up and serve myself salsas and curtido. We went in search of pupusas. Closing time was 8:00, and we walked in at 7:15. One table was eating their meal. We tried to sit down but were told it was takeout only at that time. The person was kind of rude about it too, probably because she'd already bussed the tables and was ready to go home for the night. We conceded and placed a to-go order, and ended up eating in the car :( I really did want to like this place - we like supporting family businesses. Very good authentic Mexican food. Came here on a whim and got steak and el pastor tacos and they were packed with flavor. We also got a steak burrito and it's exactly what your looking for when going authentic. Inside is not very updated but in a place like this it doesn't really matter you come for good food not aesthetic. Parking is available so no worries there. First time having Pupusas. They were excellent. I ordered the dinner which comes with 3 pupusas and rice and beans with a slaw of some kind. I had the Revuelta pupusa which was good, a poblano and cheese it was also good but I really liked the bean and cheese one best. I suggest the dinner to try three different ones. The food is ok. Service need much improvement. Seems that they are always in a bad mood. Purchased 4 pupupas and had to pay extra for the curtido. Didn't get extra salsas either . I have tried many popusas and these are hand down the best! They are not stingy with their meat like other restaurants and they taste so delicious. The only thing is they don't give enough salsa or curtido so you will probably have to pay for extra. read more

Tried this place for the first time today and it is excellent Mexican/Latin food. There are no shortage of good Mexican restaurants and take out spots in the area and this place is as great as any of the top places in the area for your standard authentic Mexican fare. In addition I tried the pupusas which I had a never had before and they were awesome. I asked which they suggested I try first and they suggested starting with the pork and cheese and the revuelta pupusa. Both were excellent and we're served with a pickled cabbage and carrot topping which adds to the savory flavors of the pupusa. Great food and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back soon! read more

Small place, the pupusas are awesome here. So i decided to try the chicharron with yuca since i love the ones from carol stream. When i got home and saw the portion of the yuca and chicharron was 1/4 of what they give in carol stream. I got 6 small pieces of yuca and 4 of chicharron. Ill stick with the one in carol stream for my yuca and pork. read more
