If your in the area it's a nice little joint to get a quick lunch or adult beverage. It's close to work so easy option for me to get a decent meal and delicious cocktail. Service is good. People are friendly. Check them out.

Chicken quesadilla and veggie sope, side of avocado, rice and beans

Great food in an unassuming space! We came in a Friday night with a group of 5 and were seated right away. The menu is large with something for everyone. We stared with the tlacoyos to share - one veggie, one al pastor. Both were great and something different. I had a chicken quesadilla and a veggie sope with a side of rice and beans. The quesadilla and sope were both huge! Way bigger than I was expecting. They were both very good and you could tell that the tortilla and sope shell are homemade. The rice and beans had a nice flavor as well. Two of my friends had the birria and said it was delicious! Will be back to try more!

Taco Tuesday! 2.99 chicken, pastor, chorizo and tinga tacos. Among other great lunch specials. Food is authentic as it gets. Excellent service. Don't forget to ask for the spicy salsa. Oh and they have a small little outdoor area that is pet friendly :)

SO good! The birria is so great! Service was great as well. We ordered the 3 quesa-birria meal and the cheto's birria torta. Located next to a gas station but restaurant is clean and spacious. Parking is limited. Will come back!

It's true what they say.... The best food places are always hidden. In this case it's next to a gas station. Okay but in all honesty the food was 10/10. We all got the Birria tacos (a mix between a taco and quesadilla) . Everything about this taco was amazing, the delicious meat inside, the crispy shell of the taco, the melted cheese between the taco shells, and the broth served for dipping. The horchata was also noteworthy. While we didn't have any drinks this time, the drink menu was definitely looking great and we will be back for some next time!

My husband and I had been looking for a good place to get birria. The reviews for Sabor de Mi Tierra were great. We were not disappointed! It was a Sunday afternoon so it was busy but we were seated within 10mins. Nice chill vibe and the art was interesting to look at. Service was good, too. But the food!! Chefs Not greasy, awesome flavor with an emphasis on the spices, not spicy hot but tasting all those different flavors! Fresh fresh tortillas. Tacos served with just onions and cilantro, they true way tacos are supposed to be served, not smothered in lettuce and cheese to mask the flavor of the meat! Generous portions, too. And they had Mexican CocaCola! Yes- there's a hugh difference in taste. It's located in an awkward spot but those are always the best places to eat! Highly recommend the birria!! Highly recommend this place!!

Was driving through the area and decided to check this place out. It is in a kind of hidden spot but worth it. Very cute aesthetic and the food was very authentic. We ended up trying the birria, some quesa birrias and the mole enchiladas. I can honestly say we loved everything we were served here. If you are in the area and craving some Mexican food look no further and stop by and give this place a try!

The service was nice. It wasn't too busy during the lunch time hour I stopped in. They have one of the best horchatas I've ever had in my life. It's almost like a light chocolate milk to me. Super tasty and not overpowered by spices. The flautas were nice. I think the toppings could be dialed back just a little because it falls off when dipping in the consume. This consume is different than other places I've had. This was more of a soup based where I'm just to the thicker consume where the sauce sticks to the tortilla and meat. I wish the flautas had more of the birria red color to it or maybe some chili oil. But other than that, I'd give these a try again but with mess toppings and maybe a side of rice and beans.

This is the first time I dined at their new location. So much bigger and with the same cool vibe! I came in with my sister and mother. We were starving and we left full and happy! We tried the quesobirria tacos with consomé, chamorro and the mole. All I can say is everything was beyond delicious! For drinks we had horchata, spicy peach and I believe it's called Mexican breeze (not sure). The alcoholic drinks were so refreshing but the horchata was a little bland. Our server and the other staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The music was great as well! Not too many parking spots but there is street parking as well. Located next to a gas station which is hard to spot but so worth it! Will be back and will recommend!

Poblano Enchiladas I added my own chips and guac.

We live less than 10 minutes from their new location which is down the street from where they had the old location. So glad to finally check them out. I got the Poblano Enchiladas with green sauce. So yummy!! Such depth of flavor from the poblano and onion filling!! It came with rice and beans. The beans were a bit runny but good flavor. Rice again was good flavor, no carrots or peas added just plain red mexican rice. As a vegetarian I love to find a new spot so close to us that offers so many vegan/vegetarian options. Next time I will try the vegan mole enchiladas. My husband tried the Jamaica burrito, another vegetarian offering. Again very flavorful and their burritos are nicely sized, no itty bitty burritos here! My daughter had rice and beans and we constructed a burrito at home with cheese and guac. But I do see that they offer a kids size burrito with basically the same option, next time. If you are a vegetarian or vegan family, this is a great spot. We will definitely be back!

The dishes were a little more spicy than the spice levels we requested but they had great flavor, so maybe order down one spice level than usual. I met the owner Rutiv who is very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming at Taste of Elmwood Park (which by the way is a great way to preview foods from local restaurants) when I tried their Philly steak sandwich, we had it again today. The sandwich was delicious, I would have liked the bread toasted to a crunchy element but was still a good sandwich. For an appetizer we had Samosa (similar to an empanada in concept) this was filled with peas and potatoes which were seasoned nicely and when accompanied with the turmeric sauce was awesome. The turmeric sauce added spice and a new level of flavor. We also tried the marsala fries, they were regular crinkle, cut fries, but with a special flavor of marsala; also very tasty. I ordered the Goat Curry marinated goat cooked in a homemade cashew gravy. I also ordered garlic naan which was phenomenal; the goat was season well and very tender, it also came with Jeera which is a light rice that you can literally sprinkleon the curry instead of being clumpy like regular white rice. Using the naan as a vessel to eat, the dish, took it to a whole new level. Glenda tried the mango lassi, which is basically a shake made with mango, ice cream, and shaved almonds on top. That drink was cool and refreshing. We will definitely return to this restaurant, there are a few more things that I would like to try. I give this restaurant 5 stars, Ciao Ciao for now. please give it a try and let me know your opinion.

The onion rings were huge, crispy, and very tasty. The burnt ends were also good and came served over a bed of French fries, making for a hearty appetizer. The cheese curds were just okay and didn't really stand out. For dinner, I had the steak, which was just okay and didn't really impress me. We also tried the cheesesteak with jalapeños. It had good flavor, but was a little dry. The burger was good overall, although it was a bit on the salty side. The craft beers were good and definitely added to the experience. Service was also good, although the restaurant seemed particularly busy, possibly because of a large party upstairs. Overall, 93 Octane is a decent spot with some good food and drinks. The onion rings and burnt ends were probably the highlights for me, while some of the main dishes were just average.

It's a good burger. Nothing remarkable, but it did the trick. The fries were good. Avoid the pretzel bites. $13.99 for burned and flavorless chunks. A total disaster. Similarly, skip the Pit Stop Potatoes ($13.99). The potatoes have no seasoning and the melted cheese immediately falls off when you touch it with a fork. Just a greasy mistake. A short fuse and a close call…read more After Emily and I checked in to our hotel room, we wanted to stretch our legs and see if there was anything nearby for some beer and some food. Turns out, Short Fuse was right up the road and a 5 minute walk got us there. For a Sunday, it wasn't too busy but not dead, so we got seated right away. We ordered some beer and took a look at the menu. While nothing really struck our fancy, our waitress made a comment that if we did want any food, it might be slim pickings as they were running out of stuff. Turns out, this day was the last day they were open. Talk about timing! After she mentioned that, I started to notice that people were buying bar signs and various other things. Emily started off with a Guava Gose and I grabbed a Krankshaft kolsch. We sampled each other beers and we both really liked what the other ordered. I don't really know what a gose is but, damn, was that good! I've had Krankshaft before so I knew what I was getting myself in to. We ended up ordering a second round of the same beers and let each other sample the other's beer a little more liberally this time. While we were kind of hungry, nothing on the menu really struck our fancy, especially considering they might've been out of it. Room service took care of those hunger pangs later after a few more beers in the hotel bar. Online reviews for this place seemed hit and miss but I really enjoyed my time there and really enjoyed the artwork on the walls and the vibe of the place. We did contemplate buying some bar signs on our way out but declined as we don't know what we would exactly do with them.
