Delicious! As a vegetarian I enjoyed cheese quesadillas with fresh guacamole and pico made to order. Plus I shared a HUGE order of Mexican nachos (minus the meat) with my hubby who devoured two steak tacos and frijoles. Both of us were stuffed and satisfied. Super taco is my number 1 favorite taco place to go to. Workers are always nice, the wait is never longer than it should be, and the quality is always consistent. The corn tortillas have this nice warm greasy meaty flavor to them, its so good. The rice also has a meaty flavor to it which is different and so good. Food isn't bad but they're very inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes not. Same with size of tacos, sometimes they're decent size sometimes they don't put a lot of meat on them. Biggest complaint by far is how often they forget items or give you the wrong item and if you call to complain, they tell you to come back and they'll fix it but who wants to go back after you get home. Always good. Everything we have ever ordered has been amazing. The tacos are great. I have a friend who always drives 45 minutes out here just for their Tortas. It's just delicious. We placed a to go order for 5 items. While waiting, we witnessed multiple customers come in saying they had already picked up their food and were either missing multiple items or the order was wrong. Then after waiting over 20 min, 2 of our 5 items were wrong. We were given a tostada when we ordered a torta, and ordered nachos with jalapeño, onion, and tomato on the side, but received the nachos with all toppings in the container. They swapped the tostada out for a torta, but we were already home when we caught the mistake with the nachos and decided to eat them as is so we didn't have to drive back and wait a third time. In the middle of our meal I realized there were black specks in the bag with the napkins and I figured they were just crumbs. Then I noticed 3 live ants on the container of nachos and 2 ants on the bag with the salsa containers. It then clicked that the specks in the bag were smashed ants. I immediately took the food to the trash outside because I didn't want to risk any ants getting out in the house, and obviously the food was not edible. I tried calling the restaurant twice and the number said the line was unable to accept calls. I waited a few minutes and called a third time, and when a young man picked up I explained the situation. He then put the phone down and was talking to someone about the ants and then told me to take pictures of the ants and to bring the pictures in. I explained I had already thrown the food out and I just wanted them to be aware that they're serving food that has live bugs in it. The employee just seemed confused and like he didn't know what to say and the conversation went nowhere. So overall, avoid this place like the plague because they clearly do not value customer satisfaction or food safety. read more

They don't have al pastor anywhere on the menu, but have tongue, I find that odd. So, Ive eaten here a few times. And I usually get a steak burrito or torta. The food is OK, but could be better. It seems that they leave the steak on the grill all day, and when someone orders some steak, they squeeze on some lemon juice to make it "not so dry". You can taste the lemon juice in the burrito. It is not a desirable taste/ Especially when the meat is dried out. 1 suggestion to the owners.. Cook your meat fresh to order. There already is a fair wait for the food, and I know it doesnt take long to fry up some steak bits. This place is close to home, so it is a convenience, but for the price, I expect better quality. And it wouldn't even cost the owners any more money to make the food fresh. read more

There are no fewer than 4 tacquerias like Super Taco in my home town, and Super Taco is at or above all of them. Super Taco really puts the "Super" in Super Taco. I had a steak burrito that had actual flank steak in it, not the generic sirloin at most places. And there was plenty of it. Hot sauce was very flavorful, not just hot. After I ordered I saw a placard for what looked like a huge dish pickled carrots and cauliflower for $1.50. Might go for lunch tomorrow to try that. read more

The food and service are both tremendous disappointments. I ordered a steak (asada) torta which is listed on the menu as including avocado. There were two of the tiniest slices of a quarter of an avocado on my torta. The quantity of carne asada was less than a quarter cup on a bun larger than my hand. The meat tasted like it had been soaked in lemon juice or vinegar. It was not appealing in any way. I went back immediately with my full, intact order to talk with a manager who claimed she couldn't do anything about my complaints. It took far more "suggestion" than I was comfortable with to get her to refund my money after being served this embarrassing excuse for a torta. We go here as a last resort but wish we came here all the time. The food is very tasty but you are nickle and dimed to death. Kids dont tend to like cilantro and onions (traditional) tacos. If you want lettuce and cheese its $.50 per taco....it adds up fast. With much more priced right food options right there in the same strip mall we can get more for the money elsewhere if we can decide we dont want tacos or burritos. As for the service, its just counter service and ive never been treated like I was welcomed there but then thats after I get done notching I just paid $4 dollars total so kids can have cheese on their taco. We go here often when we don't feel like driving into Joliet. Steak tacos are always good as is their horchata and nachos. Today I decided to try their taco salad with chicken. Only a five minute drive home. The chicken on top was good. However, they put the lettuce between a layer of refried beans and chicken. End result was wilted, gross lettuce and tomatoes. Don't know if they failed to drain the lettuce after washing it because there was also a puddle of liquid at the bottom. So much for the salad part. So much for the crisp shell too. The food was amazing at one point and then the one guy who was who was both cashier and cook (wish I knew his name and where he went cause I'd go there) left/fired not sure which; however, after that the quality of the food suffered and was really hit or miss. I thought super taco was okay but their customer service is absolutely trash. I understand taking time to complete orders and restrictions with covid. But I was placed on hold for over 15mins and when I tried calling back they placed their phones on busy. I decided to go into the facility and half of the staff was not doing nothing and their phones still were not ringing when I tried to call again.
