Horrible experience with the lady who works here. Came in around 8:30pm knowing I was coming in last minute but expecting to do a quick wash and dry to get out by 9:40pm at the latest. I felt rushed by the lady saying she was closing the door at 9:30 whether i was done or not. Why are you advertising that you're open until 10pm and saying you are kicking everyone out 30 minutes early when you are clearing already starting to "clean" by 8:30? Very clean machines. Always an attendant available. Sort of mid priced. I have washed bedding here on a couple of occasions. It can get a little hectic in here. People seem to let their children run wild. People also seem to be fairly aggressive on staking a claim to tables and the carts they aren't even using. A little weird. But, overall, I've been able to get in and bang out some bedding in a short amount of time. They do have free parking, but it's a little tricky. Not too bad. The place is well maintained and clean. There is a working restroom but you have to buy a token to get in. I believe 25cents. There are detergent products and dryer sheets available for sale. There are 25 and 50 cent know machines to keep the kids entertained for the moment. I thought the place is nice and simple to get laundry processed. I went with my family, wife and two kids. Majority of the washer and dryer units worked. I think the only complaint has to be the worker. My wife tried to process our laundry through one of the dryer unit and went to tell the employee there. She helped, but had an attitude about retrieving our quarters in the nonoperating drying unit. She gave us a stanked looked face, aggressive dropped the quarters in our wife hands, and you could just feel the uncomfortable energy. Great place to process the laundry, but bad customer experience. I would come here again though. There is a pizza hut, smoke shop, and gas station within the vicinity. Wow... I have never been so disrespected by an EMPLOYEE at a business in my entire life. As I was folding my clothes, two men started yelling and cussing at each other right in front of me. The girl employee did not try and intervene. She had her headphones in her ears. I asked the men to please stop with the fighting as it was extremely rude to be talking that way in a public place. They finally stopped. One of the men did come up to me after to apologize which I appreciated. After he apologized, the girl employee came up to me and said... "did you get in those guys business and tell them to stop?" and I said yes and told her how I thought it was rude to act that way in public. She then said... "Well its rude to ignore someone when they're apologizing to you" And she walked away. I was stunned!!! I couldn't believe she just said that to me. When I was about to leave, I asked her what her name was and she puts both of the back of her palms underneath her chin, smiles and says... "Jean, and make sure you tell them my last name too, Ortega. Oh wait, actually tell them Esmeralda" She walks away again and starts complaining about me loud and clear to someone she's talking to on her iPhone. I couldn't believe this employee was talking to me, a regular customer with such attitude and immaturity! I work in the service industry so I understand how difficult it can be. But gee...that girl employee, Jean? Esmeralda?.. whatever her name is should be fired for talking to a customer that way. I've been very disappointed with my last few visits at super wash. The attendant at night has horrible customer service, she always has a rude face. She doesn't greet you well. You ask her for something and it's as if you're asking for too much. I still come here because it's my local laundromat and I like supporting the businesses here in this area. it's truly uncomfortable having to wash and needing help with a dryer or anything like that and you're not comfortable asking the attendant for help because she always gives you attitude. Even when you're going outside to load laundry into your car and she needs to open the door because it's after hours it's attitude 24/7! I work customer service and know that employees with horrible attitude and negative energy don't last. I hope she changes here attitude and if she has personal problems bothering her then to leave them once she steps foot into work. read more

Terrible. $4.00 for a large washer, runs for 16 minutes and barely wrung out 2 light comforters. Regular washer $3.25 and again barely wrung out a Regular load. Dryers 25 cents for 5 minutes. My first time at this facility and I think this will be my go to spot to wash my clothes / sheets. It is only a 3 minute drive from where I live and the location is not hard to find (the sun though makes it difficult to find at first). Although I've been pampered with credit card machines I said screw it. One of the change machines wouldn't take my $20 (seemed like my $20 was barely hanging on) however I was able to drive across the street and get smaller bills. So I will admit the 16-21 minute wash I was skeptical about for the $3.50 I pay however it does in fact clean your clothes and you have plenty of options (will provide photo). As far as the dryer it's .25 cents for every 4 minutes. There are plenty of machines so you never have to worry about never finding one. Overall I will try this place again (and let's not mention they offer all types of deals but unfortunately the times I come it won't apply to me). read more

Beyond the exceptional customer service that I receive on both drop off and pick up, it's the turnaround that seals the deal for me. I mean, where can you drop off your clothes at 8:30am and have them clean and ready at 10:50? It's insane! Granted, this isn't always the case but I've never had to wait until the next day for my clothes to be ready as long as I drop off early enough. All this for $0.99 a pound? Crazy town... The have a variety of different sized washers (standard to industrial) at comparable prices for each size. There's a few arcade games, and snacks while you wait. We were in town with our family vacationing and staying at The Hard Rock and desperately needed to get some laundry done to make it through the rest of our stay. After realizing it would cost about $300 to have 5 days' worth of a family of four's laundry done at The Hard Rock, I found this laundromat on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. I called ahead and the lady was very nice, assured me she could get our laundry done right away and that she'd call me when it was ready for pick up. At drop off, she asked for any special requests (i.e. what articles of clothing to not dry, etc) and took special care with our stuff. She followed through on all counts with clothes ready in just over 2 hours and the best part was it only cost $25 WITH TIP!!! In search of a decent laundromat to give an old over-sized bedspread I now use as a beach towel a good rinse, I stopped by this place over lunch break. On the positive, they offer here an impressive selection of state-of-the-art coin-operated washers and dryers of various load capacities. The machines look clean, and appear to be fairly new and well maintained. Impressively, the wash cycle took only 16 minutes and two 8 minute runs of the dryer on medium heat were enough to finish the job. Prices seemed a bit steep, however, with my wash costing $5.00 plus two loads of detergent at $2.25 and another $0.50 for the dryer. While coin machines to convert your $1, $5 and or $10 bills into quarters are available on location, as far as I could tell the closest ATM is at the gas station across the street. read more

Decided to come to this laundromat based on the previous review. I don't have any horrible complaints about Super Wash & Dry. The facilities are clean and the machinery work well. Note: if you don't have cash for the change machines, there is an ATM across the street at the gas station. $2.60 surcharge, though. Also, the vending machine dispenses snacks as well as beverages. Just look to the bottom half of the thing. I almost missed the Coke product selection. Prices I took note of: * $1.50 for a one load washer. * The three load wash is $2.75. My clothes ened up clean, too. Some multuple load washers don't really clean very well. * $5.00 gets eight loads washed. I think. The six and eight load washers are next to each other, so I can't be sure. * Dryers come in two sizes, small and large, regardless, they start working with 25¢. Each quarter gets you eight minutes of drying time. I was surprised that my laundry ended up completely dry, yet not scorching hot when I was taking it out of the dryer. Definite +1. I really like how Super Wash & Dry offers their clientele benches! There aren't many laundromats that offer a place to sit while you wait. My non-horrible complaints: * I personally feel as though the laundromat could stand to have a few more of those rolly, basket things. But that's just me. * I wanted a Heath bar from the vending machine but it kept telling me to choose something else. Lame! There were two left! * The tvs are set to either CNN or Univision. As far as laundromats go, this is actually a really nice one. It's large and has a range of washers from 1 load to 8 load. Even when it's really busy, I've never not found an open washer or dryer. There are a few attendants that are very nice but I came a couple times on a Sunday and it was horrible, people are rude and were taking my cart right in front of me and I had to keep letting them know I was still using it. At one point, the attendant that was there took my stuff out of the cart and I told her I was still using it and she didn't even let me finish my sentence and talked to me like a child claiming she was going to bring it back and to relax. Wow really..... After not coming here for a while I came back then this really. I work graveyard shift I wake around 2pm but got up early to wash. As I'm washing I remember I have my personal coffee maker in the car and figure I'll dust it off.... As I grab a paper towel the attendant tells me I can't do that here because it's for laundry only. So I spend money here every time I wash and need to get a little dust off my stuff to be told I can't. Seriously it's not like I had muddy shoes trying to clean them here. We just discovered the Super Wash n Dry on Market St & 30th St in Grant Hill and we couldn't be happier! This is by far the CLEANEST laundry matt in town! You can actually read the prices on the machines ( which by the way are very reasonable) and the machines/dryers are well maintained and clean. Maggie is a sweetheart and you can tell she ( and her staff ) work very hard to maintain the laundry matt and they are all very friendly and are there to assist wherever is needed. We never have a problem getting a machine/dryer and there are very few kids there when we go but the few that are there are well behaved and are never in the way. We also like that you can actually see & hear the TV's and are very comfortable since they have the security cameras throughout...Maggie also took the time to explain all there promotions which we are excited about! I utilized the drop off service as my machine was down. Naz helped me & she was totally professional with a great customer service attitude. I was in no hurry but was told I would get the laundry back that same day. I got a call when it was ready, receiving my laundry nicely folded & bagged. Love the service and how well you are welcomed since you walk in by all the workers, but today I had a bad experience. While I was folding my clothes the lady sweeping threw the trash at my feet and walked away and she just kept walking around the laundromat with a very unpleasant face while she was talking in a different language to what seemed to be her husband. I moved a couple of months ago and my regular place for fluff and fold was just a *wee* bit out of the way, so I decided to come to Super Wash & Dry based on the positive Yelp reviews. All I can say is that my experience after multiple visits wasn't nearly as good as the four and five star reviews would have led me to expect. My first visit was for nearly 70 pounds of clothing, mine and my boyfriend's combined. He's a fluff and fold newbie, concerned that something would be lost or ruined in the process, but I assured him that in my YEARS of fluff and folding (at multiple laundromats), I never had anything bad happen. And that's when my words came back to bite my ass because there was a blanket mixed in with the clothes that didn't make it back to us. I called and left multiple messages before finally catching up with Rosie, who was actually quite apologetic about the whole thing. But a few days later, I got a call from Maggie (the manager) as a follow up. She informed me that although my blanket was missing for more than a week, I actually made out in the deal because I should have been charged extra for the blanket and instead I got it for free. It was such a strange call because rather than apologizing for the mix up, she essentially berated me for not paying for something that I wasn't charged for. Odd. I went back because Rosie was such a doll. But, my luck being what it is, I never saw her again. In her place was Alfredo, nice enough but fairly incompetent. On more than one occasion, he tried to give me clothes that weren't mine. Good thing I was paying attention before I got all the way home! (And now I kinda know what happened to that blanket.) The final straw was when I attempted to use a Yelp check-in offer for a free 30lb wash. During drop off, I mentioned that I wanted to use the check-in offer and I showed it to him on my phone. He said it would be better to use it when I picked up the next night. Fine, ok. The next night I try to use the check-in offer and he tells me it's not valid for fluff and fold. Um, what? Why didn't he tell me that the night before?! He says it's because he didn't really look at it, but he absolutely did. On top of all this, this was one of the occasions that he accidentally gave me someone else's clothes! I was beyond pissed by that point and made the decision then to never return. The other annoying thing about this place is that during pick up and drop off times, you always end up waiting because there's never someone behind the service counter (or even keeping an eye on it). I fluff and fold because I want to be in and out and spend as little of my time as possible IN the actual laundromat, so the extra time spent waiting kind of defeats the purpose. Looks like that wee distance doesn't seem so far out of the way after all. I've already started going back there and couldn't be happier with my decision. read more
