Let me start of by saying I drove 40 minutes to get to this store and let me tell you I would do it…read moreagain. The service was absolutely amazing very kind and helpful staff. The food is absolutely fantastic. I went because I heard they had amazing gluten free items and I was not let down. If your gluten free you know it's hard to find anything that tastes good or even looks good for that matter. Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli has to be the best place to get some gluten free items. Their pita bread is soft . The lavash is soft and flexible. The lemonade please try the lemonade it is absolutely fantastic. They even have gluten free Baklava Safe to say I will be returning to this place. If you are gluten free it's a must and if your not gluten free then it's definitely a must!!

Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli is a not to be missed gem…read more Part bakery, part deli, part grocery shop, this place is small, but mighty. The atmosphere is unpretentious and the service was fast. I ordered the Ouzi Platter. While not cheap, the portion size is enough for two meals, so plan for leftovers. The Filo (spelled Fillo on their menu board) was light and flaky. The texture was so nice and flaky I would have enjoyed it without the filling. But, filling it had and it was good. Both the marinade lamb and seasoned rice rounded out the dish nicely. The platter included tzatziki sauce, a bed of seasoned rice, a warm pita and Greek salad. White the type of platter was "Ouzi", the standout was the Greek salad. IMO, any salad can be easily ruined with a subpar dressing. This Greek salad and its dressing were outstanding and worthy of ordering on its own. With its laid back, casual, family feel, large portions and out of this world Greek dressing, I'll be back soon.

Awhile back they came to mind to discover they opened a larger market over near me. In reality I'm close to either but the big store I luv. They house a restaurant that makes fresh Middle Eastern bread. Baklava bar that is insanely good, and their butcher bar is amazing including Hilal meats (research Hilal meat better than how our American meat is processed). Hilal is like Kosher in that it is a religious way they render their meats. Back to the review they added an olive bar and I'm a green Olive fanatic. Try the grilled green olives if you go and you'll get your life. Produce is fresh and reasonably priced. It services middle eastern and African cuisine ingredients primarily but it is a really nice market. Fluffy Grandma recommends.

Somewhere along the journey I became determined to find the deli olives that were on sale... but could not for the life of me figure out which counter they belonged to. I also didn't want to interrupt anyone because the place was busy, so instead I just wandered around looking suspiciously like someone casing the olive situation. That said, I was shocked at how much I ended up with for how little I paid. Organic tahini, Biscoff cookies (obviously), a few pickled items, some produce... somehow my cart kept filling up while my total stayed reasonable. I also realized halfway through that I should have bought a kettle here instead of the one I recently purchased elsewhere. Regrets. I was definitely a busy day at the market with lots of interesting stuff, especially if you like foods a little outside the norm. It's a bit out of my way for regular trips, but I could see myself swinging back through on Wednesdays for the deals... and possibly finishing my olive investigation.

One of my favorites to get is their spaghetti and meatballs meals. It comes with salad, garlic bread and the spaghetti and meatballs! Let me tell you the spaghetti and meatballs are so delicious! I would say this meal is enough for 2 people to share! The prices are unbeatable! Their deli sandwiches are super fresh, cut right there in front of you, made fresh and always delicious! Some others that are definitely worth mentioning is their pizza buying per slice (great portion size btw), and their pastas! A must when visiting is getting their pistachio Dubai chocolate cannoli! Their cannolis are made fresh and they really are amazing! The espresso tastes amazing! One thing that really stands out to me is that this deli/ grocery has been in business for a long time and the owners/employees are so welcoming and make you feel at home! They welcome you with genuine happiness. They have outdoor seating and they offer to go. They do have 2 spots for accessible parking and a few ramps. The aisles are pretty tight but if you ask the employers they are more than willing to help out! The entrance of the store is accessible and it's easy to move around.
