Why am I so late on this? I don't know. I've been going for over a year to get my hair cut (and sometimes a blow dry& flat iron) by Melissa. She rocks! It is very hard to find a stylist that really kjows how to treat curly hair. And I have super curly hair. But she never disappoints! And I swear I wish I knew what magic she works to get my flat ironed hair so sleek yet swingy and light. I can maintain it for 2 weeks. I've even tried using the same products at home and I cannot replicate her results. Bonus: she's not scissor happy! You say half an inch (I said what I said lol) and that's what you get. Plus she does it in front of the mirror so nothing shady there. She's also a really cool person and puts you at ease She doesn't try push products on you and will only recommend or offer tips. They don't dry your hair for a reason. I specifically asked her to not cut the front short instead it looks like she chopped it with her left hand, blind folded, high and hung over, using the standard kindergarten kid scissors. I'm gonna die. I can't believe how horrible it is. She cut a lot of length off, there's no salvaging it. Edward scissorhands could've done a better job blind. Don't come here for a trim. They'll hack your hair off and not blend your layers. If you want hair that'll be great for ponytails then this is the place. read more

I just got my first trim in a long time and I wanted to keep the length and grow out my layers. this is a brand new location so I was iffy. but, she spent her time to really listen to what I wanted and showed me visually how short we could go maintaining what I wanted to keep. this was totally awesome because she talked a lot so I knew what I was getting!! usually I try to explain but normally the hairdressers assume they already know what I'm talking about.. only to leave me with a crappy haircut. but no, this was exactly what I needed ! I just wanted to keep it at the cut... but I began explaining my color history and my need for hydration in my hair. ilane took the time to break down what I have REALLY done to my hair, how I could do it differently next time, and most importantly... how to save my hair !! there's this awesome deal on enjoy products for moisture... I got shampoo, reconstructor... and a conditioning spray all for 40$! basically I got one for free ! she even broke down all types of shampoos and what she personally thinks does what it's supposed to do and what she thinks is not a promising product. I LOVED HER HONESTY! especially cos we've all spent so much money on things that don't work. she saved all the trouble ! she even gave me a time frame on when I should go back to fix everything to exactly how I want it. perfect ! the wait is a while... but it's worth it, because they don't cut you short on information and making sure they give you everything you want. also, the setup is beautiful! one of the nicest super cuts I've been to... but I mean it's brand new what else to expect. I just got back from getting my badly needed trim, haha. I didnt get the ladies name who cut my hair but she did a wonderful job! I normally dont let anyone touch my bangs cause I usually dont like how they come out but something told me I should just let her do it and I really liked how my hair came out! She also held a good conversation with me while cutting my hair and I could relate to her being a fellow MilSO herself so that was also a plus ! Most of the time its just awkward silence while theyre cutting my hair but not this time! It was the first time going to this location and I didnt even know it was here, but its closer to my house than the normal supercuts I go too so I decided to come here and I like it way better! it has a chill vibe and the interior is cool, the national city location seems so dull and I always have to wait a while just to get a trim. But not here! it was pretty empty and I waited maybe 5 mins max. Maybe cause its a Sunday ? but idk! overall great experience and this SuperCuts got themselves another satisfied customer! Decided to give supercuts a try because my hair was just too long and I needed a cut. I had Chante who was super nice from the get go. I was doing a pretty big chop so I was nervous about it, but she made me feel comfortable and happy with my decision to finally go short. I was super happy with the final result! It looked just like the photo I showed her as my inspiration for my new hair. I highly recommend her. Another factor that made me feel comfortable was that I saw Chante cleaning her station and the register after her previous client; which is a must given our current times. I never in my life ever considered paying more than $20 for getting a simple haircut I would get for free from a relative, but my first time going I was hooked in by Jo. She is one of the coolest gal's I've ever met and I usually don't say that about anyone! Walked into this location to buy the Tea Tree shampoo the other day. I never intended to get a cut. I met Jo and she was fun and had an aura of confidence. So I decided to give it a try. So I came back a few days later for a cut. I noticed the place is brand new and clean and I had zero wait time. Jo was there again and was funny and actually asked me questions about how I like my haircut. Maybe this is common for women but for men and me especially, this never happens. I felt in control and for $21 I got a great haircut that had just the right amount of conversation. Not too much. I don't want to be there all day. She finished and it felt and looked good. But sadly I never really know how I feel until I go home and comb it myself, which I just did. It looks awesome. I cannot believe it. It came out exactly how I wanted it to look. Absolutely horrible. I arrived Saturday, March 26 for a cut. I told the gal that I loved my previous cut from a different salon and asked her to please just follow the cut line from the previous cut. My mistake for actually having confidence in her. I left with a wet head (because that's Supercuts) and went home. When i styled my hair at home I saw lots of split ends. How in the world does someone go for a cut and still have split ends? My bangs were lopsided and couldn't be styled because the gal whacked off a long chunk of hair that should be framing my face. I wear my hair in long layers with bangs. It shouldn't be that hard. This girl really did a terrible job. I called the salon and told them I was unhappy and they asked me to come back so the manager could attempt to fix it. I just left the salon from my second visit and the manager did what she could to fix the mess but still looks horrible because of the chunk of hair that is gone. I'll need extensions. The area manager who can help further is on vacation. I'm stuck with a really crappy haircut. Please , please do not come to this Supercuts if you want a good cut. You'll be in tears like I've been. Find a good salon with experienced hair cutters. This was a really BAD experience. I can't stop crying. This sucks. Don't come here if you want to come out feeling pretty read more
