I just called this store right now. I spoke with the manager and she was uninterested in helping me get my needs met. She was not attentive.

Honestly my worst time at a salon ever. I never experience such an awkward silence with a hairdresser, especially to the point where a shy person like me tries to start a basic convo to pass time (Like "have you guys been busy lately cuz the holidays??") and in return, only got short quick responses. Only time the hairdresser ever spoke was when I was saying something to her. Which made it more awkward. Then after the cut the hairdresser says that I'm done. Which btw my hairs soaking wet and its December, which means it cold as hell outside. Every time I went to supercuts on 47th east, they've always blow dried my hair after they cut it, and every other salon I've been too. Aren't you guys concerned that you might get sued for someone catching pneumonia from leaving your salon with wet hair in the winter time? Hopefully it won't be me. read more

I've just started recently leaving reviews as I've found most people will definitely leave a bad review when things go wrong but less good reviews when things are great. So I've been here three times. The front desk greeted me politely and gave me the wait time. Each time was less than 15 minutes as I usually come early morning. I have to say my cuts have always been exactly as I specified. My last visit yesterday I added shampoo, cut, blow dry and styled. I splurged. Lol. So glad I did as I received so many compliments from my friends afterwards. I believe my stylist name was Katie this time. She was great! read more

Haven't been in here in a while but my sons barber had no opening so I had to go here. 1st off the "save your spot" is great, I was seen at my approximate time, wait wasn't too bad. We had the blond with colored eyes, I failed to get her name. She was great with my son, I'd definitely go back and see her again. However, the crapy receptionist tried to rip me off, and acted like a child. Very immature and unprofessional. Not only did she assume my 5Year old was a adult she charged me as he was one. After asking her old she thought he was she replied with "I don't know I dont have kids". So Apparently she lacks common sense too. So after clearing up my sons age so she can stop over charging me, she screams aloud if I want to tip my hairstylist, so I tokd her no. She closes her drawer and rolls her eyes. I begin to attempt to explain that my son needs to learn how to show appreciation and gibe his own tips but why bother explaining she's an air head. I gave my son the money and he thank his stylist and gave her a tip. The receptionist tried to shame me but teaching my son a lesson out shined her by far. Thank God for the wonderful stylists who has been there for awhile, cause the other girls just sat and gossiped. read more

Let me start by saying that I really don't believe all these great reviews. We came here today and it was so awful we left. As soon as we came in they asked for a name and to sit down. Are we kids here?? Sit down?? Really?? I went to the counter and wanted to ask them if they can style my daughters hair and they just looked at me and ignored me. They instead proceeded to help the man standing behind me like I wasn't there at all. They didn't want to acknowledge me at all. We left and never again will I come to this place! I came in 25 minutes before closing and the greeter stated that they are closing soon and 3 people are ahead of me . I was confused because either you are closed or open. I asked are you taking customers or not? She stated that technically they can't refuse customers. So I sit down and wait and wonder when the clock hits 4pm will I be asked to leave? read more

Supercuts is open until 9pm. They will not stay one minute late to accept a hair cut that would've taken 5 minutes. We walked in at 8:45 plenty of time to buzz my sons hair and they turned us away. Will not ever return to this location. If I had walked into a restaurant 20 minutes before closing they would've served us. read more

Can I just say how underrated supercuts is in general? I go in all the time without appointment and have yet to wait more than 10 minutes. The case was so a few days ago when I went in for a trim/ style change for my bangs. I showed her (my hair stylist) a picture of what I wanted for my bangs and she copied it exactly! She gave me tips for styling them myself and finished pretty quickly, which was nice because I had someone waiting one me. Will be back again and again. read more

I went in a few days ago to get my hair cut short. I was very nervous, especially since I've had a bad experience getting my hair cut short before. Well, my stylist was Madison, and she did such a great job listening to what I wanted but also making sure my haircut matched my face shape and all. Love this place so much! Filomena García did my hair and she is AMAZING! I went from ginger to a beautiful highlighted blonde and my hair feels amazing! She is very nice and always has a positive up beat (: She makes me feel very comfortable she also cut my hair recently and I couldn't be happier. I love her doing my hair she is truly a professional. Not sure why I have to give any stars. It was a last minute decision to have my hair done. The person who normally does my hair has been unavailable so I thought I would have it done somewhere else but, I should have never let them touch my hair. Horrible experience.. I ended losing all of my highlights when she turned my highlights yellow/blue/purple. She had the nerve to ask me is it was a problem to keep the mess she had created. She had to go over my highlights with an awful brown color to cover the Easter egg mess. Washed my hair a second time and the brown only stuck to the fresh roots at the top, while the black bleed to the end of what was my highlights. I was there for over 3 hours and missed a really important event because of the fiasco. The stylist ( I use that term loosely) clearly knew I had missed the event I was supposed to go to and asked if I still wanted her to style my hair!?!? Uh no! I think you have caused enough damage for one day. My hair now resembles dog poop! I will never go there again. read more

WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I went in trying to get some highlights in my hair, I did not catch the name of the stylist that colored my hair but when she was finished, my hair looked NOTHING like how i wanted. I still paid and went home, but throughout the week i noticed my hair was more damaged than it had ever been in my life. I couldn't style it, brush through it, or even wear it up. I went back a week later to ask what they could do to help. A different stylist offered to deep condition my hair and get a "trim". When she was done, my hair was very healthy but my layers were CHOPPED. Shorter than I had ever seen in my life, and she still charged for the deep condition! It's been a month since I have gone, and I still can't wear my hair down. I'm forced to wear my hair up until my hair grows out, the color is the same as when i started, and $130 is wasted. Genuinely writing this review to prevent anyone else from having such a horrible experience. I am terrified to do anything to my hair now, and forced to hide it by wearing it up for the next couple of months. read more
