    Chicken quesadilla
    Taina J.

I've come here so many times, I'm surprised I've never written a review before! There's no secret as to why this place has been featured on the Michelin Guide because it's simply that delicious! When I'm here, I typically go for a chicken or steak quesadilla, which never disappoint although I've yet to try anything that I haven't inhaled! This review is for something else that occurred one of the last times I went here. I made a reservation for brunch one day for my best friend's bachelorette party since this is one of her absolute favorite restaurants (she's from Texas, so she knows great Tex mex!). We weren't expecting them to do much for her, but they went out of their way to gift her a signed cookbook along with a chef coat where they wrote "Gettin Hitched" on the back. We were all so blown away by their kindness, and it solidified this place as one of the best restaurants in the city!

Chicken Enchilada Verde & chicken Enchilada Mole (liked verde, not crazy about mole sweetness)
    Nicole W.

The free chips and salsa were sooooo good! I really could have just ate that. With your entree you get unlimited rice and beans that are shared family style with the table. Those beans were to die for, I almost wished I had just ordered that. For my entree I got 1 chicken Enchilada Verde & 1 chicken Enchilada Mole. I'm used to savory mole and the waitress warned me theirs was sweet but I wanted to try some thinking new. I really liked the verde, but I wasn't crazy about mole sweetness. I'm glad I at least tried though. Drinks were decent, I had a standard margarita. Parking- 1 hr free in garage Monday- Thursday. Otherwise paid lots or free street parking but busy on weekends.

Absolutely LOVE this spot for Tex Mex Cuisine. Never a long wait for lunch even though it is located in hustling and bustling Krog Street Market. Love the Tres Leches for dessert and the queso as an appetizer.

Wow wow wow wow wow... the three of us met for lunch and had an incredible experience. Our server was a super star... she was engaging, fun, and informative. She kept our beverages and, in the end, our bellies full. We each tried the chicken mole... two enchiladas and myself, the poblano pollo mole. In closing, wow wow wow wow

Great Tex Mex in a lovely venue! I've visited the Buckhead location of Superica, so when I found out that this location was much closer to home, I was ecstatic! There is plenty of parking available (in the front lot and in the garage; both paid), and I've never had to search very long for a spot. With indoor and outdoor seating, this restaurant is quite spacious and offers enough space for an intimate dinner or a large party. Recently, I didn't feel like cooking (let's be real, I never do) and I searched for a Mexican spot with great margaritas to satisfy myself and my spouse. Superica turned up in my search and I'm so glad that it did. We visited on a Friday evening and although there were a number of guests already seated, we only had a 20 minute wait. In the mean time we visited the Salty Donut across the street (see my glowing review on them as well!) When we did get seated, we ordered the al pastor taco plate, 2 margaritas, and fajitas. Along with queso and guac. Everything was delicious. The al pastor was seasoned and grilled to perfection, as were the fajitas. The guacamole lacked salt but that's nothing I can't fix at the table. I've made a note to myself to visit again and eat my way through the menu. Side note: I always tell myself that I'm not going to get full off of the chips and salsa, but I need to stop lying to myself lol. The red salsa and avocado salsa are my official favorites now, no cap (or whatever the kids are saying these days).

-Ambiance: Superficial is one of the stars of this section of the Beltline. Even on Easter, following sunrise services, it has a great vibe. -Food: Two of our party got single-stack pancakes the size of personal pizzas. Wonderfully cooked and enough for two (one order, that is). Another brunch entree was chorizo, potato and eggs, topped with avocado. The test was the sausage. It was perfect and not the over spiced Americanized version. Only issue: it could have been served a bit warmer. The tortillas and refried beans were a surprise and very welcome. -Plus: The chips and salsa were great as was an extra order of queso. -Service: Top tier -- our order, unsolicited refills of chips and water. The only issue was a forgotten request for a to-go gift card. -Score: Almost a five to be honest but a few hiccups. -Finale: We'll be back soon even if we live 50 mikes away.

ALWAYS DELICIOUS!! This place never fails, I really need to branch out and get something other than fajitas, but I just can't!

This restaurant has the perfect atmosphere. I loved the vibe. You start with free chips and salsa. The red salsa is warm which I thought was interesting and it definitely has a kick. I preferred the green salsa. Your entree comes with unlimited rice and beans and you can choose between refried or black beens. I really enjoyed my enchiladas with the cream sauce. The margarita was also very tasty. Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

I went here for brunch with a friend and I absolutely loved EVERYTHING! The drinks were delicious, the server was great, and most importantly the food was yummy! Definitely try the pancake

Arrived an hour before our reservation, but the staff was incredibly accommodating. Our waiter, Jordan, was fantastic. She cracked jokes with us, provided recommendations, and made our experience truly memorable. The food was fantastic, packed with flavor. They provided chips and a variety of salsas, which I highly recommend trying different flavors or mixing them together. I would highly recommend this place, but be prepared to have a reservation because it gets packed!

I really enjoyed my brunch here at Superica! The ambiance inside was cool but my friends and I opted to sit outside on the patio. Our server was very friendly and kept making sure our chips and salsa were filled. I reallyyy loved the avocado salsa, and even the red salsa and the perfect amount of spice for me. I also ordered a cheese quesadilla which was good and had a little crunch and shared a Hot Cake with my friend which was huge and sooo good. Ill definitely come back next time I visit my friends in GA!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The food is very good - it is Tex Mex - and the fresh juices (agua frescas) were also delicious. But the service was outstanding. Our waiter Robby and also Sam celebrated our bride with a Superica jacket and book. Above and beyond service!

Beautiful restaurant right off the beltline. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the view. Love the dishes and glassware. The inside decor is super cute. Food was good but the tortilla chips tasted chalky.great place for a date night or girls night out.

Why are no lunch hours on the weekend? Could you order something like fajitas there before 2, or is it strictly the brunch menu?

Hello! Our core menu is available at all times on the weekend with the addition of brunch between 10-3pm. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

What is the best reason the try Superica?

Excellent food. Several (delicious) dishes you won't find elsewhere. Solid margaritas. Fun atmosphere. That's more than one "best" reason, but thought I should share.

Are they open tomorrow at 1. Can I make reservations?

Hi Meg! Superica will be open until 3pm tomorrow. We are a walk in only restaurant, so reservations are not needed. We look forward to having you!

    Do they take reservations?

No they do not. Best time to go in, depending on your party size, is 5-6. They usually get slammed… Read more

Before the food even came out, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The place has a fun, lively vibe with colorful décor and great music that makes it feel like the perfect spot to kick back, enjoy good food, and have a good time. The crispy tortilla was packed with tender, flavorful birria, melted cheese, fresh cilantro, and onions, and the rich consommé on the side took every bite to another level. The best surprise? I thought they only gave me two quesadillas. I was already happy with that, but after finishing one, I lifted the other and discovered there was a third one hiding underneath! It felt like finding money in an old pair of jeans. Needless to say, I was even more excited. The portion size is definitely worth it--you won't leave hungry. Everything tasted fresh, the birria was juicy and well-seasoned, and dipping each bite into that consommé was absolutely the right move. Service was fast and professional. If you're in Midtown and craving authentic, comforting Mexican food, this is an easy recommendation. Great atmosphere, generous portions, and seriously delicious food. I'll definitely be back!

They have quickly become my favorite place to get Mexican food. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located on Buford Highway in a small shopping plaza. The lot is medium sized, but they are sharing it with a few other businesses, and depending on the night it could definitely be hard to find a spot so keep that in mind. Venue and Atmosphere The venue is decently sized with both booths and regular tables. There are beautiful paintings hung all over, and the decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a little part of Mexico. Atmosphere is super casual and comfortable. Food and drinks Now the menu here is massive. Take your time and prepare to be overwhelmed, because everything sounds amazing. Here's a breakdown of what we got each time. 1st visit - El Rey Del Taco Parrillada It's meant to be shared with two people, and comes with a pound of beef ribs, your choice of chicken or al pastor meat, six shrimp wrapped in bacon, with melted cheese and chorizo, plus tortillas and charro beans. It was just as delicious as it sounds. 2nd visit - Tacos The pastor con queso and the shrimp al pastor with cheese, onions, and al pastor sauce. You're welcome. 3rd visit - Fajitas Fajitas Texanas, with steak chicken and shrimp. There are 7 different combinations of sides that you can get. We got white rice, salad, and charro beans. This can also be shared, which my wife and I did. Speaking of the charro beans, they have the best beans I have ever had. For drinks I got the supreme regular mango margarita. My wife got strawberry. Both great. Service Food came out fast, but other than that the service was a little slow. Our waitress was nice, but it did seem that she forgot about us for a little while. The food was so good that I forgave it, plus at the end of the day I got everything I needed. Verdict If you're looking for amazing food and drinks, this is absolutely the place to get it. It just might end up being your favorite too! Until next time!
