The technician who came out clearly wasn't familiar with RO installations. He stated that the install would be difficult because there were no holes on the counter for the faucet. I pointed out the two existing capped holes in my granite countertop (which are clearly visible) and told him those were meant for the faucet. He took pictures said he was going outside to "get pricing" and never came back. Instead, I received a call from the office saying they couldn't do the install because there were no holes in the granite which is completely untrue. I have no idea what photos he sent the office, but I had explicitly told him and showed him the capped holes. The rep on the phone said she looked at the pictures and didn't see any holes, even though I clearly have two rusted metal covers over them. To make matters worse, I told the tech I didn't want to open the RO box unless the install cost was reasonable--if it was too high, I planned to return it. But he insisted on seeing it, so we opened the box for nothing since he didn't even touch the contents. When I called the office back upset, they offered to send someone "more experienced" the next day. I told them I didn't want to waste their time or mine if the cost was out of range. They quoted me $300, which is higher than a couple of quotes I had already received. There's no way I'm paying more to a company that wasted my time, miscommunicated internally, and didn't seem to value my concerns. Definitely not the professional experience I was expecting.

We had a sewer backup issue affecting the back unit/ADU while also dealing with separate toilet issues in the front house. Mick responded quickly, diagnosed both problems efficiently, and got everything resolved the same day. The front house issue turned out to be worn toilet flappers from normal wear and tear. We had a sudden and major sewage problem due to a failure in our almost 100-year old home that had a rusted out cast iron refuse pipes. He even offered to come buy and give a second opinion for free - even though he knew another plumber was already on their way. The other plumber gave me a small estimate to put a collar on the one exposed piece of rusted out cast iron with numerous holes in it. George suggested that it might be good to go under the house before committing to any work. That was a game-changer. He did a thorough diagnosis of what the problems were and validated all of this with still pics and videos in real time that allowed me to actually see a number of leakage problems. Not just one. Since I had worked underneath our home on a number of occasions (although not in several years) I was more than knowledgeable about the plumbing layout. It was abundantly clear that we needed to update the entire system. He gave me what I consider to be a very fair estimate for the work. The price he quoted me was fair and especially given the magnitude of work that needed to be completed. After another company removed the sewage and soil, George and his crew were able to completely replace the entire drain piping for all of our bathrooms, toilets, shower, bathtub, clothes washers, and even discovered a clogged vertical drain line in the kitchen that they also replaced.
