My Rating is Poor…read more Nathan was at my home 9-30-24 to fix the motor in my ice maker. He had to order the part. The cost was $274.00. He does not take credit cards so I wrote a check to Gresham Appliance even though he would have preferred to have it made out to him. He didn't have a receipt book. He came a week later to install the motor. Still no receipt. The part didn't work so he came back again and said he would order another. Still no receipt. He came back and said he had not installed the motor correctly and he fixed it. Still no receipt. Since then I've made six phone calls to the office asking for a receipt. I got all kinds of excuses from the woman answering the phone. His father in law was sick, he's been busy, he thought he gave it to me. Each time she apologized and said she would get an itemized receipt mailed to me right away. I just called again and got their recording. I left a message repeating the history and said it's time for me to report your company. I'm reporting to the BBB. I do not recommend this company. Cody did a great job troubleshooting and remedying slow heat up and recovery issues on my fryer…read more Yelp sent my project to several handymen, one of which, (with 100+ reviews), asked for pictures, the model, which I provided, and then simply responded with 'we don't service that model'; I had indicated in the request that there were no proprietary parts nor electronics that needed servicing, but Cody was the only one that responded with any indication that he knew how to fix the issue. He was courteous and professional on arrival, and sounded like he knew what he was doing. After performing a leak test on both ends of my gas hose, he suggested the issue was likely the large amount of rust that had built up around the connection point and offered to clean it and re-season it. He spent a couple hours cleaning and polishing it and several days after maintenance, I am pleased to say that my oil heat up time has gone down from 2 hours to about 50 minutes; he also explained how and when to perform the maintenance going forward, and recommended the tools and products to do it myself. A+ job, give Elite Era Appliance Solutions a shot!
