Extremely disappointing experience with Superior Mobility. Communication was poor, follow-ups were missed, and delays were repeatedly blamed on internal issues or personal circumstances. There was a clear disregard for what patients are going through and the urgency of needing a wheelchair. This process has taken well over four months, and I still do not have a wheelchair. I spoke to Angelica on the phone today on behalf of a friend. She was most helpful and so informative. She explained how the process works, lots of paperwork, insurance communication and verification. The entire process can take 90 days which I don't think is that much all things considered. Superior Mobility's customer service is the worst at best. They are supposed to fix a mobility chair. It has taken over 6 weeks just to get parts. To say that my experience with Kevin and Beatriz at superior mobility was good would be a gross understatement. I'm not exaggerating when I say that what they have done for me is anything short of life changing. Kevin made it clear from the start that he loves his job and he's passionate about helping his clients get the very best, and that's what he delivered for me. It's not a business transaction for him, it's forming a team to help improve the client's quality of life every step of the way and years after. I've only had my new power chair for three days, but my life has done a complete 180 from the pain and fatigue I suffered before. I have to say that superior Mobility has ben a great company to work with besides them returning calls is something they do need to work on I would give them a ONE Starr for that. But other than that my brother Frankie has an amazing detailed wheelchair. And the wait was definitely well worth it. We currently are waiting on the head piece but hopefully comes in soon. Superior Mobility shouldn't be able to use the word Superior at all if anything they should us the word Inferior because at that's what they are. They only answer the phone when they want to. The receptionist is a total idiot. The repair coordinator is never there. My scooter is still under warranty and they want to charge me for more batteries even though it's their fault the first set died. They brought me a charger that fell apart within a month of delivering my scooter, so that fried the batteries. So they brought new batteries, after I waited 10 days. The batteries didn't change anything my scooter still didn't charge even with the new charger. They made me wait 10 more days before they came out and changed a fuse. Now a few months later the second set of batteries is failing and I have followed all of their Charging instruction. Now they want to Charge me for new batteries even though the scooter is still under warranty. I'm reporting them to the BBB for sure. They slow play people hoping people will give up and not call back. I called over a month ago about my scooter. The repair man finally and came yesterday now I have to wait even longer for them to bring new batteries or for myself to order them from somewhere else. The repair man is very unfriendly and I really don't think he knows what he's doing. My scooter is making an odd noise but he says it's nothing, there is definitely something wrong with it other then the batteries, if he would get down and look at it he would know that. read more

First let me start by saying I was diagnosed with ALS in 2017. In the past three years I have been in contact with many different services for medical devices. I met Dave at an ALS clinic appointment at USC. He was just such a nice man and he told me options that no other wheelchair service provider let me know... That Gleason would sponsor funds for the tilt mechanism on my new wheelchair that Medicare would not cover. So naturally I went with superior mobility. This is a family owned business where one of the brothers is the office manager and the other brother is the technician on site. Chris is my man! That guy has driven many miles to come see me, To tighten bolts, to deliver padded armrests and utility bags, to replace a motor. In this time I have really got to know this family. I cannot say enough great things about Dave, Chris, Bryan, Adriana, and their newest member, Frank. Such a friendly crew who definitely know their profession extremely well and not only that, they are happy with their jobs and they get along extremely well. ALS is a journey. And I'm very happy to lean on them for my wheelchair needs. I highly recommend them and trust they have my best interest in mind over their pocket book. Wow, Superior Mobility absolutely gave me a superior experience! Beginning to end, highly recommended so let's get to the details. My initial evaluation was on March 9, 2017. I was very apprehensive being that this was my first formal evaluation and having a rare disease (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) you aren't often treated with the best quality in medical care. I was impressed with the clean tidy surroundings and warm welcome. I was helped virtually immediately, no wait time. I primarily worked with Kevin though I interacted with Brett as well. It was very reassuring to me that Kevin had taken the time to read a bit on my disorder. Most medical specialists can't spell it much less have an idea of its broad reaching effects. Kevin took that time to be able to serve my needs in the most effective way possible. Kevin was diligent, kind, and through in his questions to understand my day to day needs in a chair. I was able to try several chairs in my time there which let me better asses what would be important features for my chair. He spent over 3 hours with me tweaking and re-tweaking features until he came upon the best combination to fit me. I am very petite and he was careful to get accurate measurements and check against the options available to achieve the most comfortable supportive fit. Which in the end did require some custom parts that made all the difference. Even the simple act of allowing me to sit in various chairs while he was finishing the evaluation opened so many doors for me. I was able to sit on different cushions for an extended time to feel for pressure points that I couldn't have felt in a short trial. I am usually unable to sit up for more than twenty to thirty minutes without extensive pain. By sitting in the more supportive wheelchair over the typical office chair allowed me enough relief to finish the evaluation in one visit which made the process much less taxing on my fragile body. The family atmosphere (truly it is a family business) was very comforting throughout the process. I did not feel uncomfortable or hesitant to vocalize my specific needs. This environment allowed to me get the most of out my future wheelchair. From features such as tilt and recline to reduce my fainting episodes and keep me safe, power legs to compensate for swelling, and appropriate support for my unstable spine are just the basics of my daily needs. Kevin and Brett truly went above and beyond working with my insurance to not only get me the basics of what I needed but to ensure this chair will continue to give me the best function and ease of use over the next five years. They were excellent at remaining in contact about updates and the approval process. I received my final approval on March 23rd, 2017, that's 14 days after my first appointment! They certainly don't dally around especially considering the chair I received was substantially more equipped than my pre-authorized chair option. My chair was delivered to my home on April 3rd, 2017, it would have been a few days sooner but I was feeling unwell at the time and they kindly allowed for a delay until I was more able to participate fully. It has been a truly wonderful experience being able to work with Kevin each part of the process. The continuity saves me from having to repeat and explain things to a new technician each time which makes the process smoother and less stressful. Parts of the wheelchair process are quite hands on. Kevin and everyone I encountered at Superior Mobility were entirely respectful, gentle, and kind. Kevin spent around two and a half hours manually adjusting the chair, cushion, programming my needs into the unit, and having me take a test drive. I sat in my chair as each feature was adjusted to my needs ensuring my comfort. Kevin made sure I could use the ramp to enter my home and everything was appropriately adjusted so I could fit through my doorway and halls without scraping. He did not leave until I was 100% secure in operating my chair safely. The incredible kindness and forethought that was put into the additional features of my chair is mind blowing. I have everything I could dream of, plus some, to be certain I have as much independence as my health allows. It's a life changing experience for someone who started with such low expectations. After using second hand, therefore ill fitted manual chairs that caused as many issues as they resolved, the Superior Mobility family opened my eyes to the possibilities my life can be with appropriate care and consideration. I was introduced to and received so many options I was not aware were available to someone who is not a patient with spinal cord injury and its made all the difference to the quality of my life and independence. read more

Superior Mobility made two wheel chairs for my son. They fixed the first chair which had issues in about 3 weeks. They then took my son' other chair, said it was fixed after 3 months. This is impossible. They are there immediately if you want a new chair but for repairs they are the worst company I've ever done business with. I do not recommend them at all. They do not keep appointments they make and have a million excuses why the product isn't ready. They take their sweet time fixing a chair. Irresponsible at the very least!!! read more

I was sent here through my doctor. Worst Customer Service you could get. So many calls and emails I would send to make sure for weight issues on scooter for my vehicle. Most times I had to keep calling back and told wrong information. Been in the showroom and it was never busy to not get responses as I did. No help what so ever on getting a carrier. The manager Brett was able to work quickly and efficiently with my not-very-cooperative insurance company, to arrange for me to get exactly the scooter I needed. You can't ever get ahold of a live person on the phone so you have to leave a message. I left a message a week straight and still no reply, finally after two weeks of calling every day I got to set up an appointment, I kid you not they did not show up at all on the day they said. Did I get a phone call with a heads up that they can't make it out? Nope nothing. The sales department is good but the customers service is horrible.
