In response to another Yelp review I wrote, he took the time to write a personal message that I was "a nut case" and "so stupid." And finished off his hateful message by telling me "to go back from wherever I came from." After looking at his past comments on other businesses, including this one, he signs his name as "Bob Atanasio" (or "Elaine," supposedly his wife, or "Maria") praising Bob, himself. Our first purchase of a Lexus was from Superstition Springs Lexus in about 2003. We have never had a problem with ANY of the six or seven (lost count) of our Lexus purchases. In the two decades of driving Lexus we have not had one service issue; a heartfelt thank you to the amazing service staff. Salma Albashir was our sales consultant. She did everything possible to make our purchase easy and exactly what we wanted. She is fairly new to Lexus, and already incredibly knowledgeable. We started our search for a new vehicle a few months ago. We met Salma and immediately trusted that she would work for us- meaning her questions consistently reflected her active interest in meeting our needs. But we also felt no pressure from her at any time. Both my husband and I found her a joy to work with! Before we purchased this week, my husband had one obscure, technical question. Salma acknowledged that she needed some research and asked for a moment. She was back in less than a minute after speaking to Easton McIntosh, Certified Product Specialist. Easton seems to be a fixture here. While we have never worked directly with him, he seems to be a resource consultants turn to with questions. He is a gentleman who adds to the general sense of being in a dealership you want to do business with! We have consistently found Brent Adkisson, GM, to be incredibly proactive in supporting our purchases while also respecting our financial considerations. I asked Brent how long he had been the GM and he said about 11 years. That made sense. Years ago I was on my own buying a car while my husband was traveling. I returned to Superstition Springs Lexus. This was the year I bought an Audi. The salesman at SS Lexus was the epitome of the high-pressure caricature of a car salesman. He had no interest in finding me a car that would be in the monthly payment range I wanted. After so many years at this dealership, I was sad to not get the help I wanted. My husband and I returned when the Audi lease was up. I was dreading this, after the last encounter, but my husband wanted to give it another try. Brent greeted us. I told Brent our last experience at this dealership led me to an Audi purchase. He seemed genuinely irritated that I wasn't helped and promised that we would be happy if we gave Lexus another try. He did everything possible to meet our circumstances. We left in 2012 with a new Lexus that would run for years, without a problem. Brent obviously supports his sales team in creating an impeccable environment for customer satisfaction. He is extremely good at what he does, with a huge knowledge base. We have since continued our purchases here, and cannot imagine buying anywhere else! It doesn't hurt that he is incredibly personable and genuine. Denise Erickson is the Certified Delivery Specialist we have had the pleasure of working with on past purchases. She was not working on this day, but it was great to find Denise is still with Lexus. If we have technical questions getting acclimated to this new vehicle, I know she will be extremely helpful. Denise is TRULY extraordinary and fun to spend time with- a force of technical know-how and a wizard! If I seem totally sold on this dealership- I am! The staff is 100% consistent and responsive without any negative stressors. I should also acknowledge Adam, who completed our finance work; he was incredibly fast, efficient and made the process so fast and easy. The initial interactions with the dealership via e-mail were perfect. We made an appointment to come up and see the car (we live in Tucson) and met with Joe Christy (Sales) to perform the test drive. Joe had the car ready to go and we went on a leisurely test drive. He answered a few questions about the car, asked a bunch of questions, but really encouraged us to get a feel for the vehicle. Thanks Joe. That is the end of the positive experience with SSL. The next day, we decided to pursue a lease of the vehicle. I sent a very detailed breakdown of our offer to lease the car to Joe via e-mail. And; my phone was bombarded with calls, which I can't answer because we are in the middle of a total remodel of our home. No one leaves a voicemail, SSL just keeps calling. Later that evening, I get back to Joe with a rather exacerbated tone (sorry Joe) and said there is NOTHING to TALK about. I asked him/SSL to respond to my detailed e-mailed lease proposal and we'll go from there. And that concludes my experience with SSL. So, SSL, this car lessor went elsewhere and was able to come to an agreement on a lease for a Lexus NX450h+. The VERY least your business should have done was respond to my e-mail proposal with, 'we're not interested in your proposal' or (GASP!) a counter-proposal. As a result of your unwillingness to perform rudimentary customer service skills and/or basic negotiation skills, you EARNED a 2-star review and my promise to not do business with SSL in the future. Service dept is beyond RIDICULOUS. Went in for an oil change. I understand and appreciate the multi point inspection, as I purchased this from a private party. That being said....they want $999.30 to replace spark plugs. Is my entire vehicle made out of spark plugs, because the last time I checked, they were about $4 a piece. They also said, quote "BRAKE FLUSH: fluid green and contaminated with algae". I'm sorry, WHAT? Ummm....no. Not even possible. It might be green, but not because of algae. Again, I purchased this used from someone else. Not flushing the lines every 3 years will turn the fluid green, not algae. They also wanted $109 for wiper blades that were 'cracked and tearing away'. Those blades look brand new, so again...no. Cabin air filter dirty $89.90. That was the first thing I replaced when I got the vehicle two months earlier.. Not to mention that they didn't even reset my oil change alert, so every time I start my car, it tells me I need an oil change. I filled out my service survey and got a call a couple of days later from someone I thought was going to address my complaints. It turns out it was just the service center asking me if I wanted to schedule all of those things that I said I didn't want to schedule, for 10% off. It seems that Lexus doesn't really care about the bad service that their customers get. I will be using Chandler Lexus from now on. read more

I recant my statement about Allen I don't know if he got word of my last post (which he nor any of his colleagues should be offended by) because this was simply my experience. But against my better judgment I decided to go and that oil change in which I made my appointment over the phone with Allen for 10:30. I arrive for my appointment on time he was definitely a lot less chatty, no problem. Waiting area was busy and quite a few appointments or at least people here before me. I wait wait wait as I figured then notice everyone besides me is gone. Allen then walks in around 12 or so and tells me my car is being washed. Time goes by, then more time. I then walk outside looking for my car because I'm confused at this point Where Is My Car. I see it in the corner just sitting, I return to the waiting area wait another 15-20 mins. No car so I go to Allen's office and let him know I need to leave. He's said my car is being washed I tell him he told me that a while ago and tell him it's not needed etc etc ... I go back inside. Then come back out and tell him my car does not need to be washed & he gives me the rudest look and goes inside his office and mumbles something. I proceeded to just stand in the pick up area where a woman clearly sees I'm in need of assistance. She's ask am I ok I tell her I need to go asap she says she's going to check on my car, she walks around some corner and tells me they were cleaning the inside or my tires I don't recall by insist I can longer wait and then my car is pulled up and I leave and barely make it to where I needed to go. Now let's be clear waiting is not the problem here but I did notice people that arrived after me leave way before and hey different cars and depending on what a car needs time may vary but it did seem having me be the last one to leave at exactly 1:00pm after having a 10:30am seemed deliberate. I also go to Lexus dealership to do oil changes etc all the time and anytime they come and tell me my car is being washed it may take 10-15 minutes max then I'm on my way. That's why it was beyond confused Allen told my cat was being washed then it took over an hour to actually leave. BS Avoid this location, it maybe out my way but I now go to bell Lexus and have had nothing but awesome interactions from service to sales :) read more

I purchased a brand new $60K vehicle 6 months ago and continue to struggle with simply getting the spare key promised. I've called several times and nobody can tell me anything. I realize a spare key is likely not a big deal, but to me, and the amount of money I paid for the vehicle, something as simple as an extra key promised is huge. Part of my purchase contract included a spare key, with my family having access to the vehicle, another key is imperative, especially if something happens to the only key we have. The most recent call I was told if I wanted to pay, they could give me one right away... Unbelievable! If you can provide the part if I pay, why can't you provide what I was promised at time of purchase? Please don't make a purchase until you have all critical pieces to the car delivered on the spot, because they will forget you even exist once you drive off the lot.... Their canned response to all negative feedback is just further proof this dealership could care less about their customers. The moment you drive away, you will be dismissed with no follow thru on promises made. Typical used car salesman behavior. Terrible..... read more

I engaged this dealership through their website and was contacted by Mayra, their internet manager - she was great. They asked me to drive up to the dealership to run numbers on Saturday 9/24 - which I did. However, when I arrived Mayra connected me with a salesperson, Easton McIntosh. Our sit-down lasted 5 min because 'Easton' felt tuning out of our discussion to text on his phone was more important - very disrespectful. This is a below average Lexus dealership and does not offer the service you would expect when you go to an average Lexus dealer. I recently bought a certified used car from this location and I have been underwhelmed by my whole experience. The price of the car was far and the service I received from the salesman was good but after that things fell apart. The car was dirty and not detailed when I picked it up so I have had to get it cleaned on my own time and money but I will give the dealer credit then have said they will reimburse me for that. The other issue is they replaced 3 out of 4 tires on the car and I though that was strange so I took it to discount tire and found out the 4th tire had only 5MM of tread remaining and should be replaced so I have to replace a tire my brand new car. I understand car sales is a business but only replacing 3 of 4 tires and the 4th needing to be replaced is not something you would not expect from a luxury brand. Go to one of the other Lexus dealerships offered in the valley! read more

I bought my pre-owned Lexus from Tracy on the 1st and she was spectacular, even though she was also very busy at the time. Between herself, Jennifer at the front desk, and the finance manager, it was a very seamless process. I brought the car in a few days later to replace a missing key. While I was in the waiting area, I witnessed the service manager saying things about her car that were blatantly untrue. He told her her car was designed to pull to the right when she asked him about an alignment issue. He also seemed to have some issues applying a discount that I had through Costco auto, and of course his credit card machine wasn't working correctly. For a guy who bragged about having 20 years in the biz, I didn't walk away with a lot of trust. Best car dealership experience I've ever had had. Everyone is friendly, helpful & reliable here. They aren't even my dealership but were able to fulfill key programming weeks faster than my dealership in Flagstaff (the flag one is horrendously. unreliable, & scammy at best). I've been here twice, due to issues with the Flagstaff place that was supposed to properly set everything up for me. Anyhow, Phil at Lexus was incredible, everyone was super kind & helpful & they were somehow able to solve things I wasn't expecting to be resolved after Flagstaff was so unresponsive. Didn't realize how long things would take today which I feel terrible about, finding out the key could be ready, I came later than I would have... They didn't hesitate or make me feel badly & corrected a frustrating issue that, again, I hadn't expected to get resolved for a couple months at least. Got in & out quickly too. I'm just so impressed with everyone here. Good coffee evidently as well so I'll have to try next time. Can't recommend this dealership enough. I was interacting with the service department but had great, non-pushy interactions with the sales team, being personal people, & very pleasant. I took my 2022 IS500 to Superstition Springs Lexus, which is 2 miles away from my home, for the 2nd complimentary maintenance service on 03/07/2023. According to Lexus, every new Lexus should receive 2 complimentary maintenance service. To my great surprise, the service advisor, Randy Wright declined my service request and wanted to charge me $360. I asked him why and he answered, "Lexus 2 complimentary maintenance service policy does not include Lexus cars with v8 models." I contacted Lexus headquarters and a case against Superstition Spring Lexus was created. Lexus headquarters also issued me a credit of $250 to make up for the 2nd complimentary service I did not receive from Superstition Springs Lexus. My family members and relatives are all long time Lexus owners. We are disappointed at the poor service attitudes Superstition Springs Lexus holds, and in the future, we will purchase our new Lexus vehicles and service them elsewhere. read more

WOW. Been calling for 2 days and lines constantly busy. Can get an answering service but they just send them an email and they seem to ignore that. I've been holding off on a review but it's been 2 years and things are no better. My first dealing were with a "Master" salesperson that was unbelievable. When he couldn't give me a better price, we started to leave. He said wait a minute. You've been here using an hour of my time. I don't make anything unless you buy. Can't imagine that working with anyone. Sales mgr ended up calling and getting the price we needed. Not crazy about the car for $50,000 Bought the hybrid. Great mileage but too much road noise They said it sounds normal to them. Messages for "maintenance needed" pop up and can only be cancelled by dealership Made a service appt and was told it was still complimentary only to drive 40 minutes and find it was not. $390 for oil change, tire rotation and balance. Biggest complaint is with all the safety features. 1 seat belt signal beeps very loud and fast after about 10 seconds. Annoying if I'm just going a couple of blocks. 2 emits a terrible grinding sound when going slow and in reverse. I know. It's a warning to pedestrians. 3 warning messages pop up and cannot be cancelled except by dealer 4 5 hours into a 3 day trip a message pops up a,sling me if I "want to take a break ". It would not go away for the entire trip. NO ONE at the dealership or Lexus corporate could tell me how to get it off. I just found out their phone lines are down. Surely they could put a message stating that so we don't think we're being ignored. The one person that is always professional and helpful is Denise. MAKE HER G. M. she would improve things there in a hurry. read more

He listened to our concerns and was able to resolve a very serious issue regarding a past sale at Superstition Springs and a new sale. I have bought two cars from superstition springs Lexus. The first time was with Jon Tellez as the manager in charge of the sales along with the salesman. He was wonderful to deal with, just all around nice guy and a straight shooter. He gave me a good and fair deal for both of us. The second car the manager was Doug Martin. He was the most arrogant person I have ever met there. Just full of himself and horrible person to deal with. There was problem/damage noticed on the car after the sale was complete and I wanted SS Lexus to make it right. Doug Martin was arrogant scoffed at the idea that they would be responsible. Since the sale was completed and done however the car had not been driven off the lot. Doug was basically gave me the middle finger. He was so rude and taking to my wife and I in a very belittling manner. Thankfully, Jon Tellez stepped in and made it right. What a horrible way for a general sales manager, Doug, to deal with his customer. If you ever purchase a car at SSlexus, stay away if Doug is the sales manager on duty. He really hates his customers and tries to take advantage of them like a typical sleazy salesman that you hear about. read more

Brent, the GM, found something for me and Mike Wu helped with everything else. He did a great job answering all my questions and got the deal done to where it met my budget. The person that replied was an offsite employee that had no ability to give me a price. He took my name, VIN#, and email address. He also wanted my phone number. I told him he had all the info needed with my name, email, and VIN # to have the parts department give me a quote. This online person obviously either didn't pass on my request, or the parts department didn't follow through. Do they have so much business that they can ignore someone that doesn't give them a phone #? Not only will I never buy parts from this dealer, I will not go there to upgrade my current vehicle. I took my new (less than a year old) Lexus to this dealership because the AC had stopped working (in this amazing AZ heat :P). I spoke to Phil Zito about it and asked about the warranty and before they had even taken the car to the back, he had told me something like "if a rock hit the condenser the warranty wouldn't cover it". Well, you can guess what happened next; they called a few hours after I dropped it off and said that the condenser had been hit by road debris and that it'd cost $2700 to fix and warranty wouldn't cover it. They showed us a picture of the "damage" which shows some moisture and a supposed divot but all you can really see is just leaves and dead bugs which is part of the normal operation of the vehicle, isn't it? When my husband called to chat with Phil about it, Phil told him that the damage is equivalent to hitting an animal on the road - what an asinine statement - there is no evidence of that whatsoever! Do not take your cars to get serviced here and whatever you do, do not buy a Lexus from this dealership. As a matter of fact, I am so disappointed in Lexus altogether, I wouldn't recommend buying a Lexus. Oh and by the way, our comprehensive insurance would cover the damage. The insurance arranged for a repair shop to have a look at the car, and the technician who looked at our vehicle said there's no signs of collision or impact and recommended we take it back from where we bought it from. Thankfully, we did not buy this car from this dealership, so we'll see how that goes. read more

Very disappointed in SS lexus based on my experience there today. I had driven down about 1hr away to look at a 2008 Lexus IS-F wanting to trade in one of my vehicles. My low mileage lexus was valued at 1/3 of the cost while their IS-F was valued 6k more. Doug being the sales manager was a very arrogant person clearly showing that he didn't want to make a sale. Low balled me to a different degree for my vehicle. His offer was literally insulting 6k under the KBB trade in. If Doug is the manager of the sale RUN AWAY. Buy your Lexus SOMEPLACE ELSE. I bought a used Lexus LS 460. I'd been driving Lexus for 20 years and knew they were dependable. I was pressured to buy mechanical insurance. After 3 weeks, I took the car to my local Lexus dealership along with my insurance policy. My bill was $3,000 and not a cent was covered by the $2400 insurance policy. The local dealership explained that I'd been hoodwinked into buying a policy offered by the dealership which covered nothing. I was advised to call Superstition Springs Lexus and demand a refund. I did just that and I was assured that my money would be refunded. I kept calling and kept being told I'd get a refund, but nothing happened. After a year I was still being told that a refund was coming and for my troubles I was additionally offered a replacement car that was at least one year newer with only 75,000 miles. It has now been almost 3 1/2 years and I've received nothing. My repeated calls are no longer even being returned. There are far too many outstanding Lexus dealers to subject yourself to this horrible experience. read more
