Both were incredibly juicy (the turkey moreso), fantastically melt in your mouth tender, and the flavor was out of this world, just like I remember from living back at the East Coast and unlike most other disappointing BBQ I've tried in CA over the last 25 years (when I spot BBQ I have to try some). Even though we'd just eaten BBQ for lunch, we decided to order a plate to go. $10 got us a container brimming with their apple- and cherry-wood smoked meats, homemade beans (oh yeah) and macaroni salad.
