Supreme Hot Pot is AYCE now and I love it! I've enjoyed the food here when I've visited in the past, but it was a little pricey. Now that it's all you can eat, the value is awesome, and I can't imagine going to another hot pot place when I'm in the area! The broths here are so rich and delicious. The quality of the meat, vegetables, and other raw ingredients is great. I brought my mom here for lunch yesterday, and the service was very attentive. As soon as we ordered food on the tablet, it came out. We also got refills of water and broth. I would highly recommend a visit here for some delicious hot pot! read more

Learned that the hard way When you walk in it's like you teleported! Walls are adorned with colorful characters and supreme logos everywhere. Loved how on theme everything is! Tried this place with a friend and was glad we did! It's a chill spot and a pretty quick drive from where I live. Logistics: the restaurant offers free 2hr parking at a garage but we didn't know and ended up at another garage that only offers one free hour and we definitely were there for longer! Don't be like us... do your research! Or you can be like us lol. Food: this place is not AYCE and it adds up quickly if you're hungry. Or if you can eat a lot like us. We just kept ordering food. The ingredients were pretty good. For broth, we got a combo to share with the szechuan spicy broth and the house broth(?). Again, don't be like us...the szechuan broth comes with something that looks like a bar of soap but it makes things spicy. Really spicy as we found out after not bothering to ask for instructions because we were curious and tend to wing things. It says Supreme on it lol. Supremely spicy. Got a bunch of meats, some veggies, standard stuff. I don't think I saw those roe filled fish balls but I did like the fish paste to make your own fish balls. Satisfying to drop pieces in and watch them cook. At the end, we got these cold dessert soup that was sweet (sounds unappetizing as white fungus soup but it was delicious)! Service: our server was really chill. Didn't really talk much and didn't check in much but was responsive if we waved at him so all good. We stayed for a long time...and kept ordering. Towards the end, it's well past lunch time but no one is rushing us out. Another server started to check on us pretty proactively including asking if we needed any more sauce before they took the sauce station away and had to do some construction work or something. Still no rush. She was very friendly and cheery. Later she offered us each a free soda for the noise. We rolled out VERY full and satisfied. After submitting the Special Combo and two Hot Pot Meats, in a few minutes, we were told that we had to choose the Hot Pot Soup Base. We had assumed that a simple clear vegetable broth was the default. Given its store name, we decided to try the combo soup base - half pot in spicy and the other half in the mushroom broth. The quantity portions of the nine-ingredient combo were not enough for two adults. The meats in cut were the sweetest part of our dinner. At first, I was a bit hesitant to try since their togo menu on yelp seemed too expensive. But their menu price at the store is cheaper. Due to covid, you order from your phone. We got spicy level 4 Szechuan spicy and house special bone marrow soup. The server was informative and told us to start with spicy level 3 and add when you want it more spicy. It was a good call. Level 3 is spicy enough. I think I can def try and eat level 4-5 but might suffer later... Their meat is so so fresh!! I loved it. They come out so pretty too!! Ribeye and fatty beet slices are the best! Mussels and squid were soso. Not worth the price. Would rather get more meat next time. Ohhh also Fyi... fried pork is their typo. My party of 6 arrived around 7 pm and were seated about 10 minutes upon arrival. When we were led to a table, we weren't really given any instructions on how to order. The server didn't explain to us but for others future reference: you scan the QR code on the table and input what you want to order on your phone. Then you checkout on your phone and the servers will bring the food. Payment will be done later at the front. The ambience itself was nice and lively. Most tables were taken aside from a couple in the back. Service could have been better- our table was only set up for a table of 4, and it took a bit for a server to bring us more bowls and plates. The food itself was delicious. Highly recommend getting the bone marrow broth! At other hot pots I've been to though, they usually give you tongs to handle the raw meats. First hot pot experience in over a year (finally vaccinated). They are on top of sanitization and table distancing, and felt comfortable upon entry. Friendly and helpful staff - even brought my wife a smock for her light sweater. We got the 2x spicy and mushroom broth. Both excellent, and plenty of broth for two people. We got beef and lamb, which were both fresh and good, but preferred the beef a little more. Also an order of shrimp, cabbage, wood ear mushrooms, All were good but the mushroom sampler we saw from others looked like a better spread than ours. Top note: this review is about the service. I really like Supreme Hot Pot, or at least I have, when I have been allowed in! I was excited to ring in the New Year and have dinner there tonight, but sadly, when we got there at 10 pm (an hour before closing), we were told they were closed and no longer seating guests. We mentioned that their open signs were still up and the hours on all the sites (including their own and Yelp) had them as open, but they told us the kitchen was already closed and ushered us out. Ironically, I checked and could have just ordered takeout as they were still open on DoorDash, but we decided it was losing battle and went elsewhere. If you're open, be open! And if not, please update your hours, so people don't drive out to your restaurant and then get turned away. read more

This is true authentic Szechuan hot pot. You order through a QR code and can add items throughout your meal and the servers will just bring it out. We ordered so much that table space became an issue which the server quickly remedied as they brought out a shelf that held all the food. We came as a group of 6 and only had 2 broths which was hard to share since it was in the center of a long table. Just something to keep in mind if you come with a larger group. Additionally, we had a language barrier with the servers so it was difficult to communicate at times. The Szechuan broth flavor is numbing spicy- the type that makes ur tongue tingly. We got the free spicy level which was already spicy so I cant imagine what the spicier levels were like. All the cuts of meat, seafood, vegetables, carbs were high quality and fresh. As we were cooking, we requested a new broth bc scum was starting to build up. Unfortunately they were unable to accommodate and just added additional broth which didn't fix the issue. All of the "East Asian" cuisines (e.g. Japanese & Chinese since there is NO KOREAN food in Old Town ALX) are AMERICANIZED!! So I'm happy we found SHP!! Since most people know what hot pot is, I wanted to share our SZECHUAN hot pot experience at SHP from a different perspective... Just a word of caution... The pot is GINORMOUS!! Approximately 14" in diameter & 8" in depth?! Szechuan Hot & Spicy (Level 2). (4 stars). Ladies, or I suppose some of the guys, do you ever have that significant other in your life (Husband, BF, GF, friend, family member, etc) that says they love spicy food or they can handle godly levels of spice?! Do they ever try to prove it to you through their runny nose & tears of pain or fists slamming against the table as they say "I'm ok"!! Well, if you don't know what I'm talking about, consider yourself lucky!! My BF is very stubborn when it comes to admitting something is too spicy for him. He won't admit it when I ask him. He definitely won't admit it to me!! I just HEAR about it later... if you know what I mean... But of course, when the nice young man who is serving us asks him, "Sir, is it too spicy?" OMG. I can't say enough good things about this new HotPot spot. It's gonna be trouble for me because it's so close to my apartment and I'm ... OBSESSED. First of all, the employees are soooo nice and accommodating. Came over and showed us how long to cook all the meats (this was only my third time doing HotPot). Second the ambiance is awesome, cool graffiti type paintings all over and great music of all genres. They are doing great socially distancing and taking temperatures too. We went with the HotPot, I did see they had Cajun seafood and kebab too, which I would like to try next time. We ordered the two soup broths:spicy and mushroom. The server warned us that the spicy was super spicy and we went with level 1. Ok we really like spicy and this was spicy for us lol when that chili pepper It the back of your throat every so often you had to choke a little, but spicy in the best way possible! So flavorful. Flavor was spot on for both the Sichuan spicy & the mushroom soup broths and the ingredients were all fresh and plentiful (honestly I thought it seemed expensive but you definitely get your money's worth. Sauce bar had everything I would expect. The decor was awesome as well, you can tell it was thoughtfully designed. And the staff there were so friendly and attentive! Even gave us free jelly dessert :) They also validate parking.
