I had the most embarrassing, dehumanizing experience at what was once my favorite pizza shop. Yesterday I upheld my usual late night habit of going to Supreme because they are usually the last restaurant in open in Boston. When I got in it was a bit busy, but still not too crowded. I put in my order which I would split between myself and my sister: mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni. We were happy when the chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks came out promptly, but confused about 15-20 minutes later when we still hadn't received our slices and were watching all the groups of people walking in and out with their food. At that point I went up to the counter with my receipt and asked if they had warmed the slices. Luckily the man behind the counter was holding two slices, one cheese and one pepperoni. I smiled and reached out to grab the slices and the man shouted back at me, "these aren't yours you didn't pay!!!" And handed the slices to two white guys behind me. This was very embarrassing considering that my sister and I were the only two black people in the restaurant. The fact that he assumed we did not pay when we literally were eating food we did pay for was disgusting. When they finally decided to believe that they were at fault for forgetting my order they had the nerve to tell me they ran out of what I wanted and ask if I wanted something else. I told them I did not and that I expected them to figure it out after that disrespect. What they served me was unbelievable they took a burned cheese slice and threw cold pepperoni and a sprinkle of cheese on it. As this was happening all the workers behind the counter scowled and rolled their eyes at us as if we had done something wrong. Quaint place with decent music decorations. Fast, sizable, and inexpensive pieces of pizza, and pretty greasy (but hey it's pizza). What's better is the prosciutto sub, smells and tastes really good, and was well presented, only downside was the cold tomatoes which made the hot sub warm. Ordered food at 8:15. At 9:20 we called to see where it was and they said on its way should be 20 minutes. Now it is 10:30 and we called and they said the pizzas just left for our place. We don't actually believe them so we're going to get burritos across the street. Huge disappointment. I know the weather isn't great tonight so we expected a little delay but over 2 hours for 2 pizzas is absurd. Do you ever wonder how some places stay in business? OK, I'm not a fan of Greek style pizza. Some people like it and to me the stuff is like a third grade attempt at throwing crap in a bowl and praying to the lord on high that something edible will surface from the muck. That aside I don't have much to say about the pizza here. I went with D and a few friends yesterday and figured that subs were safe. I got a cheek'n parm sandwich. [since I refuse to believe that what I had was actually chicken] which consisted of two anemic looking preformed patties made of anything but whole chicken meat. It was topped with a tomato sauce that had a resemblance to curry in flavor. I cannot for the life of me pick out the odd spices in it, nor could the other repulsed people who had this sauce. The only thing I know is that if I brought this sandwich to NY I wouldn't leave alive. Cheese? Helloooooo? i couldn't find it. Oh wait! Two half slices of thin provolone were stuck to the top of the bread placed there as if I had ordered a fine food that was surrendered at gunpoint due to its rarity. A had a similar sub made with eggplant. Again the cutlets were thaw and gnaw items from the freezer looking just as anemic and under cooked as my cheek'n. Not for nothing but these are basic items. It's a mom and pop store but there isn't any of mom's love to be found anywhere. The whole place screams of 'I really need to get out of this business and if I stop trying then maybe someone will get the hint.' Domino's is in viewing distance of this place and quite frankly I'd recommend walking those extra few steps. read more

There is a woman who works here who is always smoking in the back in plain sight. I am sure this is illegal in the state of MA. She was looking at me and smoking while I was eating. I wondered if I too should light up right in the middle of the store. The pizza, calzone, frozen yogurt, salads, and mozzarella sticks are alright for the price, but I have had better at other local areas. Also I wish they had 100% juice instead of only sugar juices or sugar sodas. The artwork is outdated and the tables are crummy. The acoustics in there are weird and I can hear every word really loud. This is not a place you want to be in if you are sober or on hallucinogens, but would be acceptable if you are a very drunk late at night. read more

Chicken Broccoli Alfredo pizza please. Wow was this a good pizza. Taste just like Chicken Broccoli Alfredo pasta with tons of cheese and a breadstick. The crust was thin, buttery and super flaky almost like a dense crescent. All white meat chicken evenly distributed. No mystery meat here. Alfredo thick and creamy, they must add Parmesan or ricotta because it wasn't saucy like alfredo sauce is. All topped with tons of cheese and baked to perfection. I have no complaints about this pizza. I will def be coming back here. read more

This place is convenient, cheap, and open until 2am. My first visit to Supreme was a few weeks ago, although I have lived within a ten minute walk from the place for about four years. It's easy to miss, just another little shop on Mass Ave near Berklee, but its worth it to stop in a give it a try. The food is good, the pizza slices I've had were yummy and pretty big, and I've also tried a few subs and I've had no complaints. The minus one star is because sometimes the staff can be a little...businesslike. For example, my exchange with the cashier yesterday went like this (prices aren't exactly accurate, but close: Cashier: What would you like? Me: I'll take a small tuna sub. Cashier: That will be 4.35. Me: And could I get a Dr. Pepper? Cashier: $6.05. Me: And he's going to order too... Boyfriend: I'll get a slice of pizza. Cashier: $8.00 etc. She would basically immediately give the total price after every item, not asking if we would like anything else. It was a little weird. But other than that, the place is fine. Oh, and right now there is a petition by the register that Supreme is asking people to sign so they can get permission to stay open until 3am. Where do you go? The obvious answer is Supreme's. I mean, for the love of god, your alternative is Racist Steve's Racist Italian Eatery; Racism. Why would you even want to risk it? Supreme's is cheaper, tastes better, and they don't have their pizza's sitting out in plain view all day, waiting to be used. Ordered at 6:30, got here at 7:30. That is a little long considering the guy on the phone said 30 minutes. That being said, it was hot so I can't complain to much. The toppings were awesome, plentiful and very tasty. The sauce was pretty good as well. The crust on the other hand was like something out of a elementary school cafeteria kitchen. I know you had to have noticed that I kept coming up to the fridge to take drinks, as the fridge was right across from the counter, but it was nice that you did not yell at me or come to my table and demand I pay for them. I don't usually steal anything - drinks or cars or zoo animals - but last night I was determined to have some water with my pizza (quite good, by the way!) and by the time I realized I forgot the important step in the process of "paying" I was already seated back down guzzling the water quickly. This is an area flooded with alot of students that go to Berkely and such so expect that level of service . If your looking for a substantial food experience with actual good food there MANY better options in the vicinity. This place sucks. The pizza is trash. I'm a Berklee student and I'd rather eat in the Berklee caf than at supreme. If you go to Berklee you'll get what I mean. The meatball sub, the simplest of subs, tasted like nothing and fell apart in my hands. I had to eat it with a spoon. You could smell how bad the meatballs were before they touched your lips. It's cool that they're on LevelUp, but only $1 credit the first time you go there? That's kinda lame. $2.25 for a slice of cheese isn't terrible, but it's not great either, and especially for this pizza. I mean heat up the pizza for more than 30 seconds! I love this place and I don't care who knows it. The crust is buttery and flaky, the cheese is sufficiently greasy, the pepperonis give a nice snap and, most importantly, the sauce isn't chunky. I hate chunky tomato sauce. Gross. My one regret is that I only come here during the workday so I've never had it while drunk. Came in looking for a slice of pepperoni with a large group of people around 11:00pm. The teenager behind the counter with mutton chops said they were all out, totally understandable. However the next two people after us ordered slices of pepperoni and immediately were obliged, in front of us. Again, maybe he made a mistake. You can't make this stuff up, the cashier then proceeded to hand a slice of pepperoni for FREE to a random dude who walked in after attempting to auction it off verbally starting at 10 dollars. He tried to offer us old garlic bread for free to reconcile how understandably pissed off we were, we declined. We often order from Supreme Pizza & Subs at my workplace because when it comes to pizza it's the absolute best. Delivery is always very prompt, and the pizza tastes as fresh as if it was made right in our building and then served to us! The different combinations of toppings are all worth trying once. Each blend of flavors is unique and made of fresh ingredients and I have a hard time choosing between the types when we order several. (I don't know what else you know about nurses, but we can put away pizza like a college football team stuck on a broken down bus). My favorites are the Napoli or the Super Veggie. But anyone who knows me has also seen me happily munching on a Buffalo or Meat Lover's slice declaring that I will never eat anything else ever again. Anything else. Ever. Again. Went here last night to grab a bite to eat after a night out. I can't say this meal was my sharpest memory, but I definitely enjoyed it. My friend and I decided to go with the Brooklyn pizza--it took about 15 minutes to come out, but it was very good. Lots of pepperoni and sausage, along with some garlic that really gave it a nice kick.
