Imperfect. That could be said about many dining / food service establishments. I have been ordering and from this place for a long time. I'm talking 6 years plus. I don't go here for their customer service. Its affordable pizza. Today as the Covid-19 pandemic is still on the horizon, it is crucial that our food handlers / cashiers adhere to safety guidelines. (Some might not follow these rules) Case in point, this place puts the customers at a high food contamination risk. I asked the cashier why he wasn't using his face mask. ( i walked in with face mask already on ) His reply was " i have hand sanitizer, so relax" He asked me "whats your problem?" My reply, "i don't think thats a safe practice" adding that "i don't trust my food to be safe" He then asked me" If you don't trust people, why are you here?" He obviously does not understand the real threat. So i was not going to try to explain how illogical that statement was. I did try to explain that there was no need to be rude to the customer, and maybe wear a face mask, but that was not happening. I will not repeat the exchange of words after. Sad, that this place will eventually shut down due to food safety negligence. The salad was full of crunchy lettuce and fresh toppings and the packets of Ken's Italian brand dressing were a nice addition to my salad. The garlic bread was so flavorful with butter, seasoning and garlic. I also ordered two calzones; a Cowboy calzone and a pepperoni calzone and they were expertly made with a perfect golden brown crust and so many great flavors in the filling and toppings inside- this was the best meal I have had in a long time. Anyway, getting to the food, I was surprised to see that the slices were individually made, a true rarity in today's mostly mass produced pizza pies found at other locations. I ordered a pepperoni slice, which set me back a mere 4.50, an astonishing deal which cannot be matched in the ever gentrifying neighborhood that the Mission is becoming. Mind you, this slice in fact is 2 slices of a large pizza, so it is quite the bargain. Fresh pizza cannot be underestimated. The dough is quite good. It has lovely airiness, enough crunch, and offers enough structural integrity for the delicious sauce to instill confidence in the eater. The mozzarella cheese gives enough saltiness without overpowering the rest, while the pepperoni provides the kick I was craving. These flavors, combined with a piping hot temperature, resulted in an extremely satisfying experience. To be honest with you, I was quite shocked at how great this slice was. To update from a present day's perspective, I have since visited Supreme Pizza 3 times, and ordered online to expedite the process. It took around 10 minutes for my order to be ready. I heartily recommend this shop for your quick pizza needs, though I will add a disclaimer that I have yet to expand on the rest of the menu. Time will tell if I will choose to forego my usual pepperoni slice, but I will certain update my review if I do so. I'm curious to see how a whole pie will perform, and am wondering about the non pizza items as well. For now though, Supreme Pizza is in my opinion, the King of Mission pizza. read more

The flavor of the pizza is above average. I ordered a slice of Prima pizza and it was great. Though this old hole in the wall pizzeria may have some good tasting food, it's filthy. It's pretty gross looking, and definately drives customers away to see that. She also served my slice of pizza to my table without washing her hands, and with her cheeks still full of chicken wings. The bathroom should have an out of order sign on it, because it's so filthy that you could take a paint scraper to the wall and get layers of gunk and filth off. The amount of dust and dirt in the dining area is insane. It's been there longer than the young cashier has been alive. It is definately a sign of an extremely cheap owner. Though the pizza was good, and made to order, I did notice that they use corn meal instead of flour as a way to save money. I have been working in pizzerias for pretty much my whole life, so I know the tactics. Honestly, this place just needs a cleaning crew. Once a decade would be nice, so you don't lose your buisness.
